Nehemiah 10:37
and that we should bring the first fruits of our dough, our wave offerings, the fruit of all kinds of trees, and the new wine and the oil, to the priests, to the rooms of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground to the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all our farming villages.

| وَتَعَهَّدْنَا أَيْضاً أَنْ نَأْتِيَ بِأَوَائِلِ عَجِينِنَا وَقَرَابِينِنَا وَثَمَرِ كُلِّ شَجَرَةٍ وَأَوَائِلِ الْخَمْرِ وَالزَّيْتِ إِلَى الْكَهَنَةِ إِلَى مَخَازِنِ هَيْكَلِ إِلَهِنَا، وَبِعُشْرِ مَحَاصِيلِ أَرْضِنَا إِلَى اللاَّوِيِّينَ، لأَنَّ اللاَّوِيِّينَ هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَجْمَعُونَ الْعُشُورَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ مُدُنِنَا الرِّيفِيَّةِ. |

Həm də xəmirimizin, taxıl təqdimlərimizin, hər növ ağaclarımızın meyvəsinin, təzə şərablarımızın, zeytun yağımızın nübarını kahinlərə, Allahımızın məbədinin anbarına, torpaq məhsullarımızın onda bir hissəsini isə Levililərə gətirməliyik. Çünki işlədiyimiz bütün şəhərlərdə onda bir hissəni Levililər alır.

Eux-mêmes, les Lévites recevront de toutes les villes les dîmes de nos travaux.

અમારા બાંધેલા લોટનો પ્રથમ હિસ્સો તથા અર્પણો, દરેક વૃક્ષનાં ફળો, દ્રાક્ષારસ અને તેલ યાજકો માટે ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનનાં ભંડારમાં લાવીશું. વળી અમારી જમીનની ઊપજનો દસમો ભાગ અમે લેવીઓ પાસે લાવીશું. કારણ કે લેવીઓ અમારી ખેતીના સર્વ નગરોમાંથી દશાંશો લે છે.

हम अपना पहला गूँधा हुआ आटा, और उठाई हुई भेंटें, और सब प्रकार के वृक्षों के फल, और नया दाखमधु, और टटका तेल, अपने परमेश्वर के भवन की कोठरियों में याजकों के पास, और अपनी-अपनी भूमि की उपज का दशमांश लेवियों के पास लाया करेंगे; क्योंकि वे लेवीय हैं, जो हमारी खेती के सब नगरों में दशमांश लेते हैं।

Dan tepung jelai kami yang mula-mula, dan persembahan-persembahan khusus kami, dan buah segala pohon, dan anggur dan minyak akan kami bawa kepada para imam, ke bilik-bilik rumah Allah kami, dan kepada orang-orang Lewi akan kami bawa persembahan persepuluhan dari tanah kami, karena orang-orang Lewi inilah yang memungut persembahan-perse persepuluhan di segala kota pertanian kami.
Hasil pertama dari gilingan gandum dan jelai, persembahan khusus, panen buah-buahan, dan air anggur serta minyak zaitun yang pertama dibuat akan kami serahkan kepada para imam untuk disimpan di gudang rumah TUHAN karena semua itu adalah bagian untuk mereka. Selain itu, kami juga akan memberikan sepersepuluh dari hasil panen kami kepada orang Lewi yang bertanggung jawab untuk mengumpulkannya di lumbung kota kami masing-masing.
