< Mark 8 >

1 In those days (again *NO) (much *N+kO) [the] crowd being and not having what they may eat, having called to [Him] (Jesus *k) the disciples (of him *k) He says to them;
Nemazuva iwayo zvakwakange kune chaunga chikuru kwazvo, vasina chavangadya, Jesu akadanira vadzidzi vake kwaari, akati kwavari:
2 I am moved with compassion upon the crowd because already (days *N+kO) three they continue with Me and nothing they have that they may eat.
Ndine tsitsi nechaunga; nokuti chadogara neni mazuva matatu vasina zvavangadya.
3 And if I shall send away them hungry to [the] homes of them, they will faint on the way; (And *N+KO) some of them (from *no) afar (have come. *NK+o)
Kana ndikavarega vaende kumba kwavo nenzara, vachaziya panzira; nokuti vamwe vavo vanobva kure.
4 And answered Him the disciples of Him (that *no) From where these will be able anyone here to satisfy with bread in this desolate place?
Vadzidzi vake vakamupindura, vakati: Zvingabvepi zvingwa munhu zvaangagutsa nazvo ava murenje muno?
5 And (He was asking *N+kO) them; How many have you loaves? And they said; Seven.
Akavabvunza, akati: Mune zvingwa zvingani? Vakati: Zvinomwe.
6 And (He directs *N+kO) the crowd to recline on the ground, And having taken the seven loaves, having given thanks He broke [them] and he was giving [them] to the disciples of Him that (they may set before [them]; *N+kO) And they set [it] before the crowd.
Zvino akaraira chaunga kuti chigare pasi pavhu; akatora zvingwa zvinomwe, akavonga, akazvimedura, ndokupa vadzidzi vake, kuti vaise pamberi pavo; vakazviisa pamberi pechaunga.
7 And they had small fish a few; And having blessed (them *no) He ordered also (these to be set before [them]. *N+kO)
Uye vakange vane hove diki shoma; zvino akadziropafadza, akati vadziisewo pamberi pavo.
8 (And *no) they ate (now *k) and were satisfied, And they took up overflow of fragments seven baskets.
Vakadya, vakaguta; ndokununga zvimedu zvakasara, matengu manomwe.
9 There were now (having eaten of *KO) about four thousand; And He sent away them.
Avo vakange vadya vainge vaiva zvuru zvina; akavarega vachienda.
10 And immediately having climbed into the boat with the disciples of Him He came into the district of Dalmanutha.
Pakarepo akapinda muchikepe nevadzidzi vake, akauya kumativi eDharimanuta.
11 And went out the Pharisees and began to dispute with Him seeking from Him a sign from heaven, testing Him.
Zvino VaFarisi vakabuda, vakatanga kupikisana naye, vachitsvaka kwaari chiratidzo chinobva kudenga, vachimuidza.
12 And having sighed deeply in the spirit of Him He says; Why generation this (seeks *N+kO) a sign? Amen I say to you, if there will be given to the generation this a sign.
Akagomera zvikuru pamweya wake akati: Zera iri rinotsvakirei chiratidzo? Zvirokwazvo ndinoti kwamuri: Hakuna chiratidzo chichapiwa kuzera iri.
13 And having left them again having climbed (into *ko) (boat *KO) He went away to the other side.
Ndokubva avasiya, akapindazve muchikepe, akabva akayambukira kumhiri.
14 And they forgot to take loaves and only except one loaf not they had with themselves in the boat.
Zvino vadzidzi vakange vakanganwa kutora zvingwa; uye vakange vasina navo chinhu muchikepe kunze kwechingwa chimwe chete.
15 And He was instructing to them saying; do watch out, do take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the leaven of Herod.
Zvino akavaraira, achiti: Ngwarirai, muchenjere mbiriso yeVaFarisi nembiriso yaHerodhe.
16 And they were reasoning with one another (saying *k) because loaves not (they have. *N+KO)
Vakarangana pakati pavo vachiti: Nokuti hatina zvingwa.
17 And having known [it] (Jesus *KO) He says to them; Why reason you because loaves not you have? Not yet do you perceive nor understand? (still *K) Hardened do you have the heart of you?
Zvino Jesu wakati achizviziva akati kwavari: Munorangana sei kuti hamuna zvingwa? Hamusati maziva, kana kunzwisisa here? Muchine moyo mukukutu here?
18 Eyes having not do you see? And ears having not do you hear? And not do you remember?
Mune meso hamuoni here? Uye mune nzeve, hamunzwi here? Uye hamurangariri here?
19 When the five loaves I broke for the five thousand how many hand-baskets of fragments full took you up? They say to Him; Twelve.
Pandakamedurira vanezvuru zvishanu zvingwa zvishanu, matengu mangani azere nezvimedu amakanonga? Vakati kwaari: Gumi nemaviri.
20 When (now *k+o) the seven to the four thousand of how many baskets [the] fillings of fragments took you up? (And they speak *N+kO) (to him; *no) Seven.
Uye pazvinomwe pavanezvuru zvina, matengu mangani azere nezvimedu amakanonga? Ivo ndokuti: Manomwe.
21 And He was saying to them; (Not yet *N+KO) (how *KO) do you understand?
Ndokubva ati kwavari: Sei musinganzwisisi?
22 And (they come *N+KO) to Bethsaida, And they bring to Him a blind [man] and they implore Him that him He may touch.
Zvino wakasvika kuBhetisaidha; vakauisa bofu kwaari, vakamukumbirisa kuti aribate.
23 And having taken hold of the hand of the blind [man] (he brought *N+kO) him out of the village, and having spit upon the eyes of him, having laid the hands upon him He was asking him: if anything (you see? *N+KO)
Akabata ruoko rwebofu, akaribudisira kunze kwemusha; akati apfira meso aro, akaisa maoko pamusoro paro, akaribvunza kana richiona chinhu.
24 And having looked up he was saying; I see the men for as trees I see [them] walking.
Ndokutarira kumusoro rikati: Ndinoona vanhu vakaita semiti vachifamba.
25 Then again (He put *NK+o) the hands upon the eyes of him, and (made him *K) (look *N+KO) and (he restored *N+kO) and (he was seeing well *N+kO) clearly (everything. *N+kO)
Mushure maizvozvo akaisazve maoko pamusoro pameso aro akaritaridza kumusoro, rikaporeswa, rikaona vese zvakajeka.
26 And He sent him to (the *k) home of him saying; Not into the village shall you enter (nor may you speak to anyone in village. *KO)
Akariendesa kumba kwaro, achiti: Usapinda mumusha uye usaudza ani nani mumusha.
27 And went forth Jesus and the disciples of Him into the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way He was questioning the disciples of Him saying to them; Whom Me do pronounce men to be?
Zvino Jesu akabuda nevadzidzi vake vakaenda kumisha yeKesariya yeFiripi; vari munzira akabvunza vadzidzi vake achiti kwavari: Vanhu vanoti ndini ani?
28 And (they said *N+kO) (to Him saying: that *no) John the Baptist, and others; Elijah, others now (that *no) (one *N+kO) of the prophets.
Vakapindura vachiti: Johwani Mubhabhatidzi; asi vamwe: Eria; vamwezve: Umwe wevaporofita.
29 And He himself (was questioning them; *N+kO) You yourselves however whom Me do pronounce to be? Answering (now *k) Peter says to Him; You yourself are the Christ.
Iye akati kwavari: Ko imwi munoti ndini ani? Petro akapindura akati kwaari: Imwi muri Kristu.
30 And He warned them that no one they may tell concerning Him.
Akavaraira zvikuru kuti varege kuudza munhu pamusoro pake.
31 And He began to teach them that it is necessary for the Son of Man many things to suffer and to be rejected (by *N+kO) the elders and the chief priests and the scribes and to be killed and after three days to rise [again];
Zvino akatanga kuvadzidzisa kuti Mwanakomana wemunhu anofanira kutambudzika zvinhu zvizhinji nekurambwa nevakuru, nevapristi vakuru, nevanyori, agourawa, uye mushure memazuva matatu amukezve.
32 And openly the word He was speaking. And having taken Peter him began to rebuke Him.
Akataura shoko iro pachena. Zvino Petro akamutorera parutivi, akatanga kumutsiura.
33 And having turned and having looked upon the disciples of Him He rebuked Peter (and *no) (speaks; *N+kO) do go behind Me, Satan, for not you have in mind the [things] of God but the [things] of men.
Asi iye atendeuka, ndokutarira vadzidzi vake, akatsiura Petro achiti: Ibva shure kwangu, Satani; nokuti haurangariri zvinhu zvaMwari, asi zvinhu zvevanhu.
34 And having called to [Him] the crowd with the disciples of Him He said to them; (If *NO) (anyone *N+kO) desires after Me (to follow, *N+KO) he should deny himself and he should take up the cross of him and he should follow Me.
Zvino wakati adanira kwaari chaunga pamwe nevadzidzi vake, akati kwavari: Ani nani anoda kuuya shure kwangu, ngaazvirambe, atakure muchinjikwa wake, anditevere.
35 Who[ever] for (if *N+kO) shall desire life (his *NK+o) to save, will lose it; who[ever] now maybe (will lose *N+kO) the life of him on account of Me and of the gospel, (this *k) he will save it.
Nokuti ani nani anoda kuponesa upenyu hwake, acharasikirwa nahwo, asi ani nani acharasikirwa neupenyu hwake nekuda kwangu nekweevhangeri, uyu achahuponesa.
36 What for (profits *N+kO) a man (if *ko) (to gain *N+kO) the world whole and (to lose *N+kO) the soul of him?
Nokuti zvinobatsirei munhu, kana akawana nyika yese akarasikirwa nemweya wake?
37 (or *k) What (for *no) (may give *N+kO) a man [as] an exchange for the soul of him?
Kana kuti munhu achapei kuti chive muripo wemweya wake?
38 Who[ever] for (if *N+kO) shall be ashamed of Me and My words in generation this adulterous and sinful, also the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He may come in the glory of the Father of Him with the angels holy.
Nokuti ani nani anonyara pamusoro pangu nepamashoko angu pazera iri reupombwe nekutadza, Mwanakomana wemhunhu achanyarawo pamusoro pake, paanouya mukubwinya kwaBaba vake ane vatumwa vatsvene.
