< 1 Corinthians 13 >

1 If in the tongues of men I shall speak and of angels, love however not may have, I have become a brass sounding or a cymbal clanging.
Kana ndikataura nendimi dzevanhu nedzevatumwa, asi ndisina rudo, ndava dare rinorira kana ndarira inoungudza.
2 And if I shall have prophecy and understand the mysteries all and all the knowledge, And if I shall have all the faith so as mountains to remove, love however not may have, no [thing] I am.
Uye kana ndine chiporofita, uye ndichinzwisisa zvakavanzika zvese neruzivo rwese, uye kana ndine rutendo rwese, zvekuti ndibvise makomo, asi ndisina rudo, handisi chinhu.
3 Even if Even if I shall give away all the possessions of mine, And if I shall deliver up the body of mine that (I may boast, *N+K+o) love however not may have, no [thing] I am profited.
Uye kana ndagovera varombo zvinhu zvangu zvese, uye kana ndikagamuchidza muviri wangu kuti ndipiswe, asi ndisina rudo, hazvindibatsiri chinhu.
4 Love is patient, is kind, love not is envious, love not is boastful, not is puffed up,
Rudo rwune moyo murefu, rwune unyoro; rudo harwuna godo; rudo harwuzvikudzi, harwututumadzwi,
5 not acts unbecomingly, not seeks the [things] of its own, not is easily provoked, not it keeps account of wrongs,
harwuzvibati zvisakafanira, harwuzvitsvakiri zvarwo, harwudenhwi, harwurangariri zvakaipa;
6 not delights at unrighteousness, rejoices however in the truth,
harwufari nekusarurama, asi rwunofara muchokwadi;
7 All things it bears, all things believes, all things hopes, all things endures.
rwunofukidza zvese, rwunotenda zvese, rwunotarisira zvese, rwunotsungirira pazvese.
8 Love never (falls. *N+kO) if however [there are] prophesies, they will be abated; if tongues, they will cease; if knowledge it will be abated.
Rudo harwutongoperi. Zvino kana zviri zviporofita, zvichashaiswa basa; kana dziri ndimi, dzichaguma; kana rwuri ruzivo, rwuchashaiswa basa.
9 In part (for *NK+o) we know and in part we prophesy;
Nokuti tinoziva muchidimbu, uye tinoporofita muchidimbu;
10 when however may come the perfect, (then *K) the in part will be done away.
asi kana zvakazara zvasvika, ipapo zviri muchidimbu zvichashayiswa maturo.
11 When I was a child, I was speaking like a child, I was thinking like a child, I was reasoning like a child; when (now *k) I became a man, I have done away with the [things] of the child.
Pandakange ndiri mucheche, ndaitaura semucheche, ndainzwisisa semucheche, ndaifunga semucheche; asi pandakava murume, ndakashaisa maturo zveucheche.
12 We see for presently through a glass in obscurity, then however face to face; presently I know in part, then however I will know fully even as also I have been fully known.
Nokuti ikozvino tinoona nepachionioni madzedzerera; asi nenguva iyo tichaona zviso nezviso; ikozvino ndinoziva muchidimbu, asi ipapo ndichaziva sezvandakazikanwawo ini.
13 Now however abide faith, hope, love, three these; [the] greatest however of these [is] love.
Ikozvinowo rutendo, tariro, rudo, zvitatu izvi ndizvo zvinogara; asi chikuru chezvizvi rudo.
