John 16
1 Ndilukembi mambu mama mu diambu di lubika bua mu zithotolo.
These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2 Bela ku lukuka mu zinzo ziawu zi zithutukunu ayi thangu yeka nkuiza yoyi woso mutu bu kela kuluvonda; kela banzila ti Nzambi kalembo sadila.
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3 Bela vanga mambu bila momo basi zaba ko Tata ayi basi kunzaba ko.
And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
4 Ndilukembi mambu mama muingi thangu bu yela fuana, luba tebuka moyoti ndilukamba mawu. Ndisia kulukamba ko mambu mama tona vana thononobila buna ndikidi yeno.
But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
5 —Buabu ndieka kuenda kuidi mutu wuthuma. Vayi kadi mutu wumosimu beno kakadi kundiuvula: kuevi wunkuenda e?
But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
6 Vayi mu diambu ndilukembi mambu mama, kiadi kiwedi mu mintima mieno.
But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
7 Vayi makiedika ndikulukamba: bulutidi mbote kuidi beno minu ndienda; bila enati ndikadi kuenda, buna mbombi kalendi kuiza ko kuidi beno. Vayi enati ndiedi, buna ndiela kulufidisa mbombi.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 Bu kela kuiza, wela sudikisa bumboti nzimbala yi batu mu diambu di masumu, mu busonga ayi mu diambu di tsambusulu.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Mu diambu di masumu bila bakadi ku nguilukila.
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Mu diambu di busonga bila ndieka kuenda kuidi Tata, ayi lulendi buela kumbona ko.
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Mu diambu di tsambusulu bila pfumu yi nza yayi wukisambusulu.
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 Muaki mambu mawombo makidi yama ma kulukamba, vayi buabululendi ku manatikisa ko.
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Vayi niandi, Pheve yi kiedika, bu kela kuiza, buna wela kuludiatisa mu kiedika kioso, bila kalendi tuba ko mambu mandi veka, vayi wela kulukamba mambu momo kawa. Wela kulukamba mambu mela kuiza ku ntuala.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 Wela kukhembisa bila wela bonga mambu moso madi mu miny ayi mawu kela kulukamba.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.
15 Bibio bivuidi tata, minu kuandi ndibivuidi. Diawu thubidingi ti wela bonga mambu moso madi mu minu ayi wela kulukamba mawu.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.
16 Fioti kuandi kaka fisiedi buna lulendi buela kumbona ko, vayi fioti kuandi fisiedi buna luela kumbona!
A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
17 Ndambu mu minlonguki miandi mikambasana miawu na miawu: —Buna buevi bunsundula mambu momo makatubidi bu kakembi ti: “fioti kuandi fisiedi buna lulendi buela kumbona ko”, bosi “fioti kuandi fisiedi buna malu buela kumbona e?” Ayi bu katubidi ti: “Bila ndieka nkuenda kuidi Tata e?”
Then said [some] of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
18 Bawu na bawu batuba: —Buevi bunsundula bu kantuba: “fioti kuandi fisiedi e”? Tukadi sudika mbi kantuba.
They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.
19 Yesu wuzaba ti bazola kunyuvula kiuvu, buna wuba kamba: —Beno lulembo kiyuvula beno na beno mu mambu momo thubidingi: “fioti kaka fisiedi buna lulendi buela ku mbona ko” ayi “fioti kaka fisiedi buna luela kumbona!”
Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
20 Bukiedika ndikulukamba ti luela dila ayi luela nionga. Muaki nza yela mona khini. Beno luela ba mu kiadi vayi kiadi kieno kiela kituka khini.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
21 Nketo bu keti buta wumonanga ziphasi bila thanguꞌandi yifueni. Vayi bu kabutidi, buna wunzimbakananga ziphasi ziandi mu diambu di khini yoyo kammonanga mu mona ti mutu butukidi mu nza.
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
22 Beno mamveno, buabu mu phasi lueka vayi ndiela buela kulumona ayi mintima mieno miela mona khini ayi kuisi ko mutu wela kuluziona khini eno.
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
23 Mu lumbu beni kina, lulendi ba kundiuvula kadi diambu dimosi ko. Bila bukiedika ndikulukamba ti bima bioso biobi luela lomba kuidi Tata mu dizina diama, buna wela kuluvana biawu.
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you.
24 Nate buabu kadi diambu dimosi lulombidi ko mu dizina diama, vayi bikalulomba ayi malu tambula muingi khini eno yiba yiduka.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
25 Ndilukembi mambu momo mu zinongo. Vayi thangu yeka nkuiza yoyi ndiela kambu buela kuluyolukila mu zinongo; vayi ndiela kulusudikisa mambu mamo matedi tata.
These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
26 Mu lumbu kina, luela lomba mu dizina diama. Ayi kadi tuba ti minu ndiela leba Tata mu diambu dieno,
At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 bila niandi veka Tata weta kuluzola; bila beno lueta kunzola ayi lueta wilukila ti kuidi Nzambi tata minu ndiba.
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 Kuidi tata ndiba ayi ndiyiza va nza; buabu ndieka buela bika nza ayi ndieka kuenda kuidi tata.
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 Minlonguki miandi minkamba: —Buabu wulembo sudikisa bumboti, wukadi tubila mu zinongo.
His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Buabu tusudikidi mboti ti ngeyo zebi mambu moso ayi wisi ko mfunuti mutu kayuvula diambu. Mu diambu diodi tuwilukidi mboti ti ngeyo kuidi wuba.
Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Yesu wuba vutudila: —Buabu luwilukidi e?
Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
32 Tala thangu yeka kuiza ayi yifueni, yoyi luela bela basasakana, kadika mutu ku nzoꞌandi; ayi luela kumbika minu veka. Muaki ndisi ko minu veka bila Tata widi mu minu.
Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 Ndilukembi mambu mama muingi lutambula ndembama mu minu. Luela yamusu va nza vayi luba bukhafi bila minu ndungini nza.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
