John 15
1 —Minu ndidi nsinga wukiedika wu vinu, Dise diama niandi nkuni.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Dioso ditafi didi mu minu dinkambu buta makundi, niandi wukudizenganga. Dioso ditafi dieta buta makundi, wukudisukulanga muingi diluta buela buta makundi.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Buabu lueka bavedila mu diambu di mambu momo ndilukembi.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Lukangama mu minu ayi minu mu beno. Banga buididi ditafi: dilendi buta dikundi ko mu niandi veka enati disi ko dikangama mu nsinga. Beno mamveno lulendi buta makundi ko enati lukadi kangama mu minu.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 Minu ndidi nsinga wu vinu; beno luidi matafi. Woso widi wukangama mu minu, minu ndidi wukangama mu niandi, buna wela buta makundimawombo. Bila kambu minu lulendi vanga diambu dimosi ko.
I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 Enati mutu kasi wukangama mu minu buna wunlozungu ku nganda nanga ditafi ayi weti yuma. Beti kupikanga matafi beni, meti tulungu ku mbazu ayi meti vianga mbazu.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.
7 Enati luidi bakangama mu minu ayi mambu mama madi mu beno, buna lulenda kueno lomba kioso kima kilutidi, luela kitambula!
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Diambu dimvananga nkembo wu Dise diama diawu diadi: lubuta mimbutu miwombo ayi lukituka minlonguki miama.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 Bu didi ti Tata wunzola, minu mamvama ndiluzola. Lukangama mu luzolo luama.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 Enati lunsadilanga zithumunu ziama, buna luela kangama mu luzolo luama banga bu ndieta sadila zithumunu zi Dise diama ayi bu ndidi wukangama mu luzolo luandi.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 Ndilukembi mambu mama muingi khini ama yiba mu beno ayi khini eno yiba yiduka.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.
12 Thumunu yama yawu yayi: Luzolasana beno na beno banga bu ndiluzodila.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Kuisi ko mutu beki luzolo lulutidi banga mutu wowo wumvanaluzingu luandi mu diambu di bakundi bandi.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Beno luidi bakundi bama enati lumvanganga mambu momo ndikulutumina.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Ndikadi buela kulutedila bisadi bila kisadi kizabanga ko mambu mamvanganga pfumuꞌandi. Vayi ndilutedidi bakundi bila ndilukembi mambu mamo ndiwa kuidi Tata.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Beno lusia kutsobula ko vayi minu ndilusobula ayi ndilubieka mu diambu luenda ayi lubuta mimbutu. Mimbutu mieno mizingila muingi Dise diama kaluvana kioso luela lomba kuidi niandi mu dizina diama.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 Diambu ndikulutumina diawu diadi: bika luzolasana beno na beno.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 —Enati nza yilulendidi, buna luzaba ti minu yituama lenda.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.
19 Enati beno luidi basi nza nganu nza yikuluzolanga bila yawu yi luvuidi. Vayi bu luisi ko basi nza ayi bu didi ti minu ndilusobula mu nza, diawu nza yifueti ku lulenda.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Lutebuka moyo mu mambu momo ndilukembi ti kisadi kasi viokapfumuꞌandi mu bunneni ko. Enati bandiamisa buna beno mamveno bela kuluyamisa. Enati basadila mambu mama buna bela sadila mambu meno.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 Vayi bela kuluvangila mambu moso mu diambu di dizina diama; bila basi zaba ko mutu wowo wuthuma.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
22 Enati ndisia kuiza ko ayi ndisia kuba yolukila ko, nganu basi masumu ko! Vayi buabu basi ko kadi phengomokono mu masumu mawu.
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
23 Woso wukundenda, buna wunlendanga Dise diama.
He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 Enati ndisia vanga mavanga manneni ko mu bawu, momo makamavengieti mutu wunkaka ko, nganu basi masumu ko. Vayi buabu bamueni, bandedidi minu va kimosi ayi Dise diama.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 Vayi mu diambu di dedikisa masonama mu Mina miawu: Bandenda mu kambu bila.
But [this cometh to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26 Mbombi bu kela kuiza, wowo ndiela kulufidisa bu kela ba kuidi Tata, Pheve yikiedika, yoyo yiba kuidi tata, wela kuthelimina kimbangi.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 Beno mamveno luela telama kimbangi bila tona vana thonono beno luidi yama va kimosi.
And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
