< Matthew 20 >

1 Like for is the kingdom of the heavens to a man a master of a house who went out in [the] morning to hire workmen for the vineyard of him.
Nokuti ushe hwekumatenga hwakafanana nemunhu, mwene weimba, wakabuda mangwanani-ngwanani kunopinza basa vashandi mumunda wake wemizambiringa.
2 (and *o) Having agreed then with the workmen for a denarius for the day he sent them into the vineyard of him.
Wakati atenderana nevabati padhenario pazuva, akavatuma kumunda wake wemizambiringa.
3 And having gone out about (the *k) third hour he saw others already standing in the marketplace idle
Akabuda neawa rinenge rechitatu, akaona vamwe vamire pamusika, vasina chekuita;
4 and to those he said; do go also you yourselves into the vineyard, and whatever if shall be right I will give you. And they went.
akati kwavari: Endai imwiwo mumunda wemizambiringa, ndigokupai chero zvakafanira. Vakaendawo.
5 Again (then *no) having gone out about [the] sixth and ninth hour he did likewise.
Akabudazve neawa rinenge rechitanhatu nerepfumbamwe, akaita saizvozvo.
6 About then the eleventh (hour *k) having gone out he found others already standing (idle *K) and he says to them; Why here you have stood all the day idle?
Zvino neawa rinenge regumi nerimwe wakabuda, akawana vamwe vamire vasina chekuita, akati kwavari: Makamirirei pano zuva rese musina chekuita?
7 They say to him Because no [one] us has hired. He says to them; do go also You yourselves into the vineyard’ (and what if shall be right you will receive. *K)
Vakati kwaari: Nokuti hapana munhu wakatipinza basa. Akati kwavari: Endai nemwiwo mumunda wemizambiringa, muchagamuchira chero zvakafanira.
8 Evening then having arrived says the master of the vineyard to the foreman of him; do call the workmen and do pay to them the wages having begun from the last until the first.
Kuzoti ava madekwani, mwene wemunda wemizambiringa wakati kumutariri wake: Dana vabati, uvape mubairo, uchitanga kune vekupedzisira, kusvikira kune vekutanga.
9 And having come (now *o) those [hired] about the eleventh hour they received each a denarius.
Zvino vakati vachiuya veawa rinenge regumi nerimwe, vakagamuchira umwe neumwe dhenario.
10 (And *no) having come (now *k) the first they thought that (more *N+kO) they will receive; but they received (those *no) each a denarius also themselves.
Asi vekutanga vakati vachiuya, vakafunga kuti vachagamuchira zvakapfuura; asi ivowo vakagamuchira umwe neumwe dhenario.
11 Having received now they were grumbling against the master of the house
Vakati vagamuchira vakagunun'unira mwene weimba,
12 saying (that: *k) These the last one hour worked, and equal to us them you have made, to [we] who having borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.
vachiti: Ava vekupedzisira vakabata awa rimwe chete, asi mavaenzanisa nesu takatakura mutoro wezuva nekupisa.
13 And answering to one of them he said; Friend, not I do wrong you; Surely for a denarius you did agree with me?
Asi wakapindura akati kune umwe wavo: Shamwari, handikuitiri zvisakarurama; hauna kutenderana here neni padhenario?
14 do take what [is] yours and do go. I desire now to this last to give as also to you;
Tora zvako uende; ndinoda kupa kune uyu wekupedzisira sewewo.
15 Or surely it is lawful for me what I want to do with that which [is] mine? (Or *N+KO) the eye of you envious is because I myself generous am?
Ko handitenderwi kuita zvandinoda nezvangu here? Ziso rako rakaipa, nokuti ini ndakanaka here?
16 Thus will be the last first and the first last (many for are called few now chosen. *KO)
Saizvozvo vekupedzisira vachava vekutanga, nevekutanga vekupedzisira; nokuti vazhinji vakadanwa, asi vashoma vachasarudzwa.
17 And (soon to be *O) (now *o) (going up *NK+o) Jesus to Jerusalem He took the twelve disciples aside [on their] own and on the way He said to them;
Jesu wakati achikwira kuJerusarema akatora vadzidzi gumi nevaviri vari vega munzira, akati kwavari:
18 Behold we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death
Tarira, tinokwira kuJerusarema, zvino Mwanakomana wemunhu achakumikidzwa kuvapristi vakuru nevanyori, vachamutongera rufu.
19 and they will betray Him to the Gentiles unto to mock and to flog and to crucify; and on the third day (He will rise again. *N+kO)
Vachamukumikidza kuvahedheni, kuti vasveveredze, varove netyava, nekuroverera pamuchinjikwa; asi nezuva retatu achamuka.
20 Then came to Him the mother of the sons of Zebedee with the sons of her kneeling down and asking something (away from *N+kO) Him.
Zvino kwakauya kwaari mai vevanakomana vaZebhedhi nevanakomana vavo, vakanamata vachikumbira chimwe chinhu kwaari.
21 And He said to her; What do you desire? She says to Him; do say that may sit these two sons of mine one on [the] right hand of You and one on [the] left hand (of You *no) in the kingdom of You.
Akati kwavari: Munodei? Vakati kwaari: Taurai kuti vanakomana vangu ava vaviri vagare, umwe kuruoko rwenyu rwerudyi, umwe kuruboshwe, muushe hwenyu.
22 Answering now Jesus said; Not you know what you ask for. Are you able to drink the cup which I myself am about to drink (and *K+o) (baptism what I myself am baptized to be baptized? *K) They say to Him; We are able.
Asi Jesu akapindura, akati: Hamuzivi chamunokumbira. Mungagona kunwa mukombe wandava kuzonwa ini here, uye kubhabhatidzwa nerubhabhatidzo rwandinobhabhatidzwa narwo ini? Vakati kwaari: Tinogona.
23 (and *k) He says to them; Indeed the cup of Mine You will drink (and baptism what I myself am baptized will be baptized *K) but to sit on [the] right hand of Me and on [the] left (of me *k) not is Mine (this *n) to give, but [to those] for whom it has been prepared by the Father of Mine.
Akati kwavari: Muchanwa zvirokwazvo mukombe wangu, nekubhabhatidzwa nerubhabhatidzo rwandinobhabhatidzwa narwo ini; asi kugara kuruoko rwangu rwerudyi, nekuruboshwe rwangu, hazvisi zvangu kuti ndipe, asi ndezvevakazvigadzirirwa naBaba vangu.
24 And having heard [this] the ten were indignant about the two brothers.
Vanegumi vakati vanzwa, vakatsamwira avo mukoma nemunin'ina vaviri.
25 And Jesus having called to [him] them said; You know that the rulers of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and the great ones exercise authority over them.
Asi Jesu akavadanira kwaari, akati: Munoziva kuti vatungamiriri vevahedheni vanovatsikirira, nevakuru vanoratidza simba pamusoro pavo.
26 Not thus (now *k) (will it be *NK+o) among you, but who[ever] (if *NK+o) shall wish among you great to become, (he will be *N+kO) your servant;
Asi hazvingazodaro pakati penyu; asi ani nani anoda kuva mukuru pakati penyu, ngaave mushandiri wenyu.
27 and who[ever] (maybe *N+kO) shall wish among you to be first, (he will be *N+kO) your slave;
Zvino ani nani anoda kuva wekutanga pakati penyu, ngaave muranda wenyu.
28 even as the Son of Man not came to be served but to serve and to give the life of Him [as] a ransom for many.
SeMwanakomana wemunhu haana kuuya kuzoshandirwa, asi kuzoshandira, nekupa upenyu hwake huve rudzikunuro rwevazhinji.
29 And when were going out they from Jericho followed Him a crowd great.
Vakati vachibuda kubva Jeriko, chaunga chikuru chikamutevera.
30 And behold two blind [men] sitting beside the road, having heard that Jesus is passing by, cried out saying; do have mercy on us Lord (Jesus *O) (Son *NK+O) of David.
Zvino tarira, mapofu maviri agere parutivi rwenzira, akati achinzwa kuti Jesu wopfuura, akadanidzira, achiti: Tinzwirei tsitsi, Ishe, Mwanakomana waDhavhidhi!
31 And the crowd rebuked them that they may be silent. But all the more (they cried out *N+kO) saying: do have mercy on us Lord, (Son *NK+O) of David.
Chaunga chikaatsiura kuti anyarare; asi akanyanya kudanidzira, achiti: Tinzwirei tsitsi, Ishe, Mwanakomana waDhavhidhi!
32 And having stopped Jesus called them and said; What do you desire I may do unto you?
Jesu ndokumira, akaadana, akati: Munoda kuti ndikuitirei?
33 They say to Him; Lord, that (may be opened *N+kO) the eyes of us.
Akati kwaari: Ishe, kuti meso edu asvinudzwe.
34 Having been moved with compassion then Jesus touched the (eyes *N+kO) of them, and immediately they received sight (of them eyes *k) and they followed Him.
Jesu akanzwa tsitsi, akabata meso awo; pakarepo meso awo akaonazve, akamutevera.
