John 13
1 Before now the feast of the Passover knowing Jesus that (came *N+kO) to him hour that He may depart out of world this to the Father, having loved [his] own who [were] in the world to [the] end He loved them.
Zvino mutambo wepasika usati wasvika, Jesu woziva kuti awa rake rasvika kuti abve munyika ino, aende kuna Baba, ada vake vari munyika, wakavada kusvikira pamagumo.
2 And supper (taking place, *N+kO) the devil already having put into the heart that he may betray Him (Judas *N+kO) [son] of Simon (Iscariot *NK+o)
Zvino chirairo chakati chaitika, dhiabhorosi atoisa mumoyo maJudhasi Isikariyoti, waSimoni, kuti amutengese,
3 knowing (Jesus *K) that all things (has given *N+kO) to Him the Father into the hands, and that from God He came forth and to God He is going,
Jesu achiziva kuti Baba vakapa zvinhu zvese mumaoko, uye kuti wakabva kuna Mwari uye anoenda kuna Mwari,
4 He rises from the supper and lays aside the garments, And having taken a towel He girded Himself.

5 After that He pours water into the basin and He began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe [them] with the towel with which He was having girded himself.
Shure kwaizvozvi wakadira mvura mundiro, ndokutanga kushambidza tsoka dzevadzidzi, nekupusika nemucheka waakange akamonerwa nawo.
6 He comes then to Simon Peter; (and *k) who says to Him (that [question]; *ko) Lord, You yourself my do wash feet?
Naizvozvo wakasvika kuna Simoni Petro; iye ndokuti kwaari: Ishe, imwi moshambidza tsoka dzangu here?
7 Answered Jesus and said to him; What I myself do you yourself not know presently, you will know however after these things.
Jesu akapindura ndokuti kwaari: Chandinoita ini, iwe hauzivi ikozvino; asi uchaziva shure kweizvi.
8 Says to Him Peter; certainly not shall You wash my feet to the age. Answered Jesus to him; only unless I shall wash you, not you have part with Me. (aiōn g165)

9 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, not the feet of me only but also the hands and the head.
Simoni Petro akati kwaari: Ishe, kwete tsoka dzangu dzega, asi maokowo nemusoro.
10 Says to him Jesus; The [one] having bathed himself not has need (only *no) (except *N+KO) the feet to wash, but is clean wholly; and you yourselves clean are but not all.
Jesu akati kwaari: Wakashambidzwa haashaiwi chinhu kunze kwekushamba tsoka, asi wakachena chose; uye imwi makachena asi kwete mese.
11 He knew for the [one who] was betraying Him; on account of this He said (that *no) Not all clean you are.
Nokuti wakange achiziva uyo waizomutengesa; nekuda kwaizvozvi wakati: Hamuna kuchena mese.
12 When therefore He had washed the feet of them and taken the garments of Him and (he reclined *N+kO) again, He said to them; Do you know what I have done to you?
Naizvozvo ashambidza tsoka dzavo, wakatora nguvo dzake, agarazve pakudya, akati kwavari: Munoziva zvandaita kwamuri here?
13 You yourselves call Me: Teacher and Lord, and rightly you say; I am for.
Imwi munondidaidza kuti Mudzidzisi, uye Ishe; uye munoreva zvakanaka, nokuti ndini iye.
14 If therefore I myself washed your feet the Lord and the Teacher, also you yourselves ought of one another to wash the feet;
Zvino kana ini, Ishe neMudzidzisi, ndashambidza tsoka dzenyu, imwiwo munofanira kushambidzana tsoka dzenyu.
15 A pattern for I gave you, that even as I myself did to you also you yourselves may do.
Nokuti ndakupai muenzaniso, kuti nemwi muite ini sezvandaita kwamuri.
16 Amen Amen I say to you; not is a servant greater than the master of him nor [is] a messenger greater than the [one who] having sent him.
Zvirokwazvo, zvirokwazvo, ndinoti kwamuri: Muranda haasi mukuru kuna ishe wake, uye wakatumwa haasi mukuru kune wakamutuma.
17 If these things you know, blessed are you if you shall do them.
Kana muchiziva zvinhu izvi, makaropafadzwa kana muchizviita.
18 Not about all of you I speak; I myself know (whom *N+kO) I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled: The [one] eating (with *k) (Me *N+kO) the bread lifted up against Me myself the heel of him.’
Handitauri maererano nemwi mese; ini ndinoziva vandakasarudza; asi kuti rugwaro ruzadziswe, rwunoti: Anodya chingwa neni wakandisimudzira chitsitsinho chake.
19 From now I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that (you may believe *NK+o) when it may happen that I myself am [He].
Kubva ikozvino ndinokuudzai zvisati zvaitika, kuti, kana zvichiitika, mugotenda kuti ndini.
20 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] receiving (maybe *N+kO) any I shall send, Me myself receives; the [one] now Me myself receiving, receives the [One] having sent Me.
Zvirokwazvo, zvirokwazvo, ndinoti kwamuri: Anogamuchira ani nani wandinotuma, anogamuchira ini; neanogamuchira ini, anogamuchira wakandituma.
21 These things having said Jesus was troubled in spirit and He testified and said; Amen Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
Jesu wakati areva izvi akatambudzika mumweya, akapupura akati: Zvirokwazvo, zvirokwazvo, ndinoti kwamuri: Umwe wenyu achanditengesa.
22 Were looking (therefore *KO) upon one another the disciples, being uncertain of whom He is speaking.
Naizvozvo vadzidzi vakatarirana, vasina chokwadi kuti wataura pamusoro paani.
23 There was (now *k) reclining one (of *no) the disciples of Him in the bosom of Jesus whom was loving Jesus;

24 Motions therefore to him Simon Peter (and says to him *o) (to ask *NK+o) who maybe (it would be *NK+o) about whom He is speaking.
naizvozvo Simoni Petro akamuninira, kubvunza kuti ndiani waanotaura pamusoro pake.
25 (Having leaned then *N+kO) he (thus *NO) on the breast of Jesus he says to Him; Lord, who is it?
Iyewo achizendamira pachifuva chaJesu, akati kwaari: Ishe, ndiani?
26 Answers (therefore *O) Jesus; He it is to whom I myself (will dip *N+kO) the morsel (and *no) (will give *N+kO) (to him. *no) (And *k) (having dipped *N+kO) (then *NO) the morsel (He takes [it] and *NO) gives [it] to Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot. *N+kO)
Jesu akapindura akati: Ndiye ini wandichapa chimedu kana ndaseva. Zvino aseva chimedu, akapa Judhasi Isikariyoti waSimoni.
27 And after the morsel, then entered into him Satan. Says therefore to him Jesus; What you enact, do enact quicker.
Zvino shure kwechimedu, ipapo Satani akapinda maari. Jesu ndokuti kwaari: Zvaunoita, ita uchikurumidza.
28 This now no [one] knew of those reclining to what He spoke to him.
Asi hakuna kune vakange vagere pakudya wakaziva kuti wakareverei izvi kwaari.
29 Some for were thinking, since the money bag had Judas, for is saying to him Jesus; do buy what things need [of] we have for the feast, or to the poor that something he may give.
Nokuti vamwe vakafunga kuti, sezvo Judhasi aiva nechikwama, Jesu wakati kwaari: Tenga zvatinoda pamutambo; kana kuti ape varombo chimwe chinhu.
30 Having received therefore the morsel he went out immediately; it was now night.
Naizvozvo iye akati agamuchira chimedu, akabuda pakarepo; zvino hwakange huri usiku.
31 When therefore he had gone out, says Jesus; Now has been glorified the Son of Man, and God has been glorified in Him,
Naizvozvo wakati abuda, Jesu akati: Ikozvino Mwanakomana wemunhu wakudzwa, naMwari wakudzwa maari.
32 If God is glorified in Him also God will glorify Him in (Him[self] *N+kO) and immediately will glorify Him.
Kana Mwari akudzwa maari, Mwari achamukudzawo maari pachake, zvino achamukudza pakarepo.
33 Little children, yet a little while with you I am. You will seek Me, and even as I said to the Jews that Where I myself go you yourselves not are able to come, also to you I say now.
Vana vadiki, ndichinemwi chinguva chidiki. Muchanditsvaka, asi sezvandakareva kuVaJudha, kuti: Ini kwandinoenda, imwi hamugoni kuuyako, ndinorevawo kwamuri ikozvino.
34 A commandment new I give to you that you may love one another, even as I have loved you so also you yourselves may love one another.
Murairo mutsva ndinopa kwamuri, kuti mudanane; sezvandakakudai, kuti imwi mudananewo.
35 By this will know all that to Me disciples you are, if love you shall have among one another.
Pane izvi vese vachaziva kuti muri vadzidzi vangu, kana mune rudo umwe kune umwe.
36 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, where go You? Answered to him Jesus; Where I go not you are able Me now to follow; you will follow however afterward (to me. *k)
Simoni Petro akati kwaari: Ishe, munoenda kupi? Jesu akamupindura, akati: Kwandinoenda, haungagoni kunditevera ikozvino; asi uchanditevera pashure.
37 Says to Him Peter; Lord, because of why not am I able You (to follow *NK+o) presently? The life of mine for You I will lay down.
Petro akati kwaari: Ishe, handigoni kukuteverai ikozvino nei? Ndichakuradzikirai upenyu hwangu pasi.
38 (answers *N+kO) (to him *k) Jesus; The life of you for Me will you lay down? Amen Amen I say to you; certainly not [the] rooster (may crow *N+kO) until that (you will deny *N+kO) Me three times.
Jesu akamupindura, akati: Ucharadzikira upenyu hwako pasi ini here? Zvirokwazvo, zvirokwazvo, ndinoti kwauri: Jongwe haringatongoriri kusvikira wandiramba katatu.
