Hebrews 6
1 Therefore having left the beginning of Christ [of the] teaching to maturity we may go on not again a foundation laying of repentance from dead works and faith in God,
C'est pourquoi, laissant les premiers principes de la doctrine de Christ, tendons à la perfection, ne posant pas de nouveau le fondement du renoncement aux œuvres mortes, et de la foi en Dieu,
2 about baptisms (about teaching, *NK+o) about laying on then of hands, about [the] resurrection both of [the] dead and about judgment eternal. (aiōnios g166)
De la doctrine des baptêmes, de l'imposition des mains, de la résurrection des morts, et du jugement éternel, (aiōnios g166)
3 And this (we will do *NK+o) if indeed if indeed shall permit God.
Et c'est ce que nous ferons, si Dieu le permet.
4 [It is] impossible for to those once having been enlightened, having tasted then of the gift heavenly and partakers having become of [the] Spirit Holy
Car ceux qui ont été une fois illuminés, qui ont goûté le don céleste, qui sont devenus participants du Saint-Esprit,
5 and [the] goodness having tasted of God’s declaration [the] power also [of the] coming age — (aiōn g165)
Et qui ont goûté la bonne parole de Dieu, et les puissances du siècle à venir, (aiōn g165)
6 and then having fallen away — again to restore [them] to repentance crucifying in themselves the Son of God and subjecting [Him] to open shame.
Et qui sont tombés, il est impossible de les renouveler encore pour la repentance, puisqu'ils crucifient pour eux-mêmes le Fils de Dieu, et l'exposent à l'ignominie.
7 Land for having drunk in the upon it coming often rain and producing vegetation useful for those for the sake of whom also it is tilled, partakes of blessing from God;
Car la terre qui est abreuvée par la pluie qui tombe souvent sur elle, et qui produit une herbe appropriée à ceux pour qui elle est cultivée, reçoit une bénédiction de Dieu.
8 [That] bringing forth however thorns and thistles [is] worthless and a curse near to, of which the end [is] unto burning.
Mais celle qui produit des épines et des chardons, est réprouvée et près d'être maudite; sa fin est d'être brûlée.
9 We have been persuaded however concerning you, beloved, [of] [things] better and [things] accompanying salvation, if even like this we speak.
Cependant, nous attendons de vous, bien-aimés, de meilleures choses, et qui conduisent au salut, quoique nous parlions ainsi.
10 Not for unjust [is] God to forget the work of you and (the labor *K) the love that you have shown toward the name of Him having ministered to the saints and [still] ministering.
Car Dieu n'est pas injuste, pour oublier votre œuvre et le travail de la charité que vous avez fait paraître pour son nom, ayant assisté et assistant les Saints.
11 We desire now each of you the same to show earnestness toward the full assurance of the hope unto [the] end;
Or, nous désirons que chacun de vous fasse voir la même ardeur pour conserver, jusqu'à la fin, la pleine certitude de l'espérance;
12 so that not sluggish you may be, imitators however of those through faith and patience inheriting the promises.
Afin que vous ne deveniez pas paresseux, mais que vous imitiez ceux qui, par la foi et par la patience, héritent des promesses.
13 For to Abraham having made His promise God, since by no [one] He had greater to swear, He swore by Himself
En effet, lorsque Dieu fit la promesse à Abraham, comme il ne pouvait pas jurer par un plus grand, il jura par lui-même,
14 saying; (If *N+kO) surely blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you;
En disant: Certainement, je te comblerai de bénédictions, et je multiplierai abondamment ta postérité.
15 And thus having waited patiently he obtained the promise.
Et ainsi Abraham ayant attendu avec patience, obtint la promesse.
16 Men (indeed *k) for by [one] greater swear, and in all their disputes finally [comes] to confirmation in the oath;
Or, les hommes jurent par celui qui est plus grand qu'eux, et leur serment pour confirmer une chose, termine tous leurs différends;
17 In which more excessive desiring God to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of the purpose of Him guaranteed [it] by an oath,
C'est pourquoi, Dieu voulant montrer encore mieux aux héritiers de la promesse l'immutabilité de sa résolution, intervint par le serment;
18 so that through two things unchangeable, in which [it is] impossible to lie [for] God, strong encouragement we may have having fled for refuge to take hold of what is being set before [us] hope;
Afin que par ces deux choses immuables, dans lesquelles il est impossible que Dieu mente, nous ayons une ferme consolation, nous qui cherchons un refuge dans la ferme possession de l'espérance qui nous est proposée,
19 which as an anchor we have of the soul sure both and unshakable and entering into that within the veil,
Espérance que nous gardons comme une ancre de l'âme, sûre et ferme, et qui pénètre au-dedans du voile,
