< 1 Timothy 5 >

1 An elder not you may rebuke but do exhort [him] as a father, younger [men] as brothers,
Usatuka mukuru, asi umutsiure sababa, vadiki sevanin'ina,
2 elder [women] as mothers, [and] younger [women] as sisters in all purity.
vakadzi vakuru sanamai; vakadzi vadiki sehanzvadzi, pakuchena kwese.
3 Widows do honor who [are] truly widows.
Kudza chirikadzi dziri chirikadzi zvirokwazvo.
4 If however any widow children or grandchildren has, they should learn first [her] own household to be devout and recompense to give to parents; this for is (good and *K*) pleasing before God.
Asi kana imwe chirikadzi ine vana kana vazukuru, ngavatange kudzidza kuratidza rukudzo kumba kwavo pachavo, vadzosere zvakafanira kuvabereki; nokuti ndizvo zvakanaka zvinogamuchirwa pamberi paMwari.
5 She who [is] now indeed a widow and abandoned she has hope in (*ko*) God and she continues in supplications and in prayers by night and day;
Zvino uyo ari chirikadzi zvirokwazvo yakasiiwawo yega anovimba naMwari, anogarawo pamikumbiro neminyengetero siku nesikati.
6 She however living in self-indulgence [while] living has died.
Asi uyo anozvipira kuzvifadza, wakafa ari mupenyu.
7 Also these things do command, so that above reproach they may be.
Uye raira zvinhu izvi, kuti varege kuva nechavangapomerwa.
8 If now anyone [their] own and especially (of the *k*) [their] household not (does provide for, *N(k)O*) the faith he has denied and he is than an unbeliever worse.
Asi kana munhu asingachengeti vekwake, zvikuruwo veimba yake, waramba rutendo, uye wakaipa kukunda asingatendi.
9 A widow should ld be enrol not less than years [old] sixty having been of one man [the] wife,
Chirikadzi ngainyorwe pasi ine makore asiri pasi pemakumi matanhatu, yaiva mukadzi wemurume umwe,
10 in works good being borne witness to, if she has brought up children, if she entertained strangers, if saints’ feet she has washed, if to those being oppressed she has imparted relief, if to every work good she has followed after.
inopupurirwa mabasa akanaka, kana yakarera vana, kana yakagamuchira vaeni, kana yakashambidza tsoka dzevatsvene, kana yakabatsira vari mumatambudziko, kana yakateverera basa rese rakanaka.
11 Younger however widows do refuse; when for they may grow wanton against Christ, to marry they desire
Asi chirikadzi diki urambe, nokuti kana dzochiva zvinopesana naKristu, dzinoda kuwanikwa;
12 incurring judgment because the first faith they have cast off;
dzava nemhosva, nokuti dzarasa rutendo rwekutanga.
13 At the same time then also [to be] idle they learn going about house to house. not only then idle, but also gossips and busybodies, speaking [things] not being proper.
Neipapowo dzinodzidza usimbe dzichipotedza dzimba; uye hadzisi simbe chete, asi vezvisina maturo, vanopindira zvisi zvavo, vachitaura zvavasingafaniri.
14 I want therefore [the] younger [ones] to marry, to bear children, to manage their households, no occasion to give to the [one] opposing of reproach because;
Naizvozvo ndinoda kuti chirikadzi diki dziwanikwe, dzibereke vana, dzibate dzimba dzadzo, dzirege kutongopa muvengi mukana wekutuka.
15 Already for some have turned aside after Satan.
Nokuti vamwe vatotsauka vachitevera Satani.
16 If any (faithful or *K*) believing [woman] has [dependent] widows, (she should help *NK(o)*) to them and not should be burdened the church, so that to those [who are] truly widows it may impart relief.
Kana murume upi neupi kana mukadzi anotenda ane chirikadzi, ngaadzibatsire, nekereke irege kuremedzwa, kuti ibatsire chirikadzi chaidzo.
17 The well already ruling elders of double honor should be counted worthy especially those straining in [the] word and [the] teaching;
Vakuru vanobata zvakanaka ngavaverengerwe sevanofanirwa nekukudzwa kwakapetwa, zvikuru avo vanobata nesimba pashoko nepadzidziso.
18 Says for the Scripture; An ox treading out grain not you will muzzle; and Worthy [is] the workman of the wages of him.
Nokuti rugwaro rwunoti: Usasunga muromo wenzombe inopura; uye: Mushandi wakafanirwa nemubairo wake.
19 Against an elder an accusation not do receive unless only except upon two or three witnesses.
Usangogamuchira mhaka inopomerwa mutariri, kunze kana kuri mberi kwezvapupu zviviri kana zvitatu.
20 (now *o*) sinning before all do rebuke, so that also the rest fear may have.
Vanotadza utsiure pamberi pevese, kuti vamwewo vave nekutya.
21 I earnestly testify before God and (Lord *K*) Christ Jesus and the elect angels that these things you may keep apart from prejudice nothing doing out of partiality.
Ndinokurairisa kwazvo pamberi paMwari naIshe Jesu Kristu, nevatumwa vakasanangurwa, kuti uchengete zvinhu izvi usingagari watotonga, kana kuita chinhu uchitsaura vanhu.
22 Hands soon on no one do lay nor do share in [the] sins of others, yourself pure do keep.
Usakurumidza kuisa maoko pamusoro pemunhu, kana kugovana pazvivi zvevamwe; uzvichengete iwe uri mutsvene.
23 No longer do drink [only] water, but wine a little do use because of the stomach (of you *K*) and the frequent of you ailments.
Usachiramba uchinwa mvura chete, asi ushandise waini shoma, nekuda kwemudumbu mako neundonda hwako hwekazhinji.
24 Of some men the sins manifest are going before [them] to judgment; of some however also they appear later.
Zvivi zvevamwe vanhu zviri pachena, zvinotungamirira kukutongwa; zvevamwewo zvichiteverawo.
25 Likewise also the works good evident (is *k*) and even those otherwise being to be concealed not (are able. *N(k)O*)
Saizvozvowo mabasa akanaka ari pachena, neasina kudaro haagoni kuvanzwa.
