افسسیان 6

۱ 1 ای فرزندان، والدین خود را در خداونداطاعت نمایید، زیرا که این انصاف است.

Children, obey your parents, as children of the Lord; for that is but right.

۲ 2 «پدر و مادر خود را احترام نما» که این حکم اول با وعده است.

“Honour your father and mother” – this is the first Commandment with a promise –

۳ 3 «تا تو را عافیت باشد و عمر درازبر زمین کنی.»

“so that you may prosper and have a long life on earth.”

۴ 4 و‌ای پدران، فرزندان خود را به خشم میاورید بلکه ایشان را به تادیب و نصیحت خداوند تربیت نمایید.

And fathers, do not irritate your children, but bring them up with Christian discipline and instruction.

۵ 5 ‌ای غلامان، آقایان بشری خود را چون مسیح با ترس و لرز با ساده دلی اطاعت کنید.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters, with anxious care, giving them ungrudging service, as if obeying the Christ;

۶ 6 نه به خدمت حضور مثل طالبان رضامندی انسان، بلکه چون غلامان مسیح که اراده خدا را از دل به عمل می‌آورند،

not only when their eyes are on you, as if you had merely to please people, but as slaves of Christ, who are trying to carry out the will of God.

۷ 7 و به نیت خالص خداوند رابندگی می‌کنند نه انسان را،

Give your service heartily and cheerfully, as working for the Master and not for people;

۸ 8 و می‌دانند هرکس که عمل نیکو کند، مکافات آن را از خداوند خواهدیافت، خواه غلام و خواه آزاد.

for you know that everyone will be rewarded by the Master for any honest work that he has done, whether he is a slave or free.

۹ 9 و‌ای آقایان، باایشان به همین نسق رفتار نمایید و از تهدید کردن احتراز کنید، چونکه می‌دانید که خود شما را هم آقایی هست در آسمان و او را نظر به ظاهر نیست.

And masters, treat your slaves in the same spirit. Give up threatening them; for you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that before him there is no distinction of rank.

۱۰ 10 خلاصه‌ای برادران من، در خداوند و درتوانایی قوت او زورآور شوید.

For the future, find strength in your union with the Lord, and in the power which comes from his might.

۱۱ 11 اسلحه تمام خدا را بپوشید تا بتوانید با مکرهای ابلیس مقاومت کنید.

Put on the full armour of God, so that you may be able to stand your ground against the stratagems of the devil.

۱۲ 12 زیرا که ما را کشتی گرفتن با خون و جسم نیست بلکه با ریاستها و قدرتها وجهان داران این ظلمت و با فوجهای روحانی شرارت در جایهای آسمانی. (aiōn g165)

For ours is no struggle against enemies of flesh and blood, but against all the various powers of evil that hold sway in the darkness around us, against the spirits of wickedness on high. (aiōn g165)

۱۳ 13 لهذا اسلحه تام خدا را بردارید تا بتوانید در روز شریر مقاومت کنید و همه کار را به‌جا آورده، بایستید.

Therefore take up the full armour of God, so that when the evil day comes, you may be able to withstand the attack, and, having fought to the end, still to stand your ground.

۱۴ 14 پس کمر خود را به راستی بسته و جوشن عدالت رادربر کرده، بایستید.

Stand your ground, then, with truth for your belt, and with righteousness for your breastplate,

۱۵ 15 و نعلین استعداد انجیل سلامتی را در پا کنید.

and with the readiness to serve the good news of peace as shoes for your feet.

۱۶ 16 و بر روی این همه سپرایمان را بکشید که به آن بتوانید تمامی تیرهای آتشین شریر را خاموش کنید.

At every onslaught take up faith for your shield; for with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.

۱۷ 17 و خود نجات وشمشیر روح را که کلام خداست بردارید.

And receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit – which is the message of God – always with prayer and supplication.

۱۸ 18 و بادعا والتماس تمام در هر وقت در روح دعا کنید وبرای همین به اصرار و التماس تمام بجهت همه مقدسین بیدار باشید.

Pray in spirit at all times. Be intent on this, with unwearying perseverance and supplication for all Christ’s people –

۱۹ 19 و برای من نیز تا کلام به من عطا شود تا باگشادگی زبان سر انجیل را به دلیری اعلام نمایم،

and on my behalf also, so that when I begin to speak, words may be given me, so that I may fearlessly make known the inmost truth of the good news,

۲۰ 20 که برای آن در زنجیرها ایلچیگری می‌کنم تادر آن به دلیری سخن گویم، بطوری که می‌بایدگفت.

on behalf of which I am an ambassador – in chains! Pray that, in telling it, I may speak fearlessly as I ought.

۲۱ 21 اما تا شما هم از احوال من و از آنچه می‌کنم مطلع شوید، تیخیکس که برادر عزیز و خادم امین در خداوند است، شما را از هرچیز خواهدآگاهانید،

To enable you, as well as others, to know all that concerns me and what I am doing, Tychicus, our dear friend and faithful helper in the Master’s cause, will tell you everything.

۲۲ 22 که او را بجهت همین به نزد شمافرستادم تا از احوال ما آگاه باشید و او دلهای شمارا تسلی بخشد.

I am sending him to you on purpose that you may learn all about us, and that he may cheer your hearts.

۲۳ 23 برادران را سلام و محبت باایمان از جانب خدای پدر و عیسی مسیح خداوند باد.

May God, the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ give every follower peace, and love linked with faith.

۲۴ 24 با همه کسانی که به مسیح عیسی خداوند محبت در بی‌فسادی دارند، فیض باد. آمین.

May God’s blessing be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.
