2 تسالونیکیان 1

۱ 1 پولس و سلوانس و تیموتاوس، به کلیسای تسالونیکیان که در خدای پدر ماو عیسی مسیح خداوند می‌باشید.

To the Thessalonian church in union with God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, From Paul, Silas, and Timothy.

۲ 2 فیض و سلامتی از جانب پدر ما خدا وعیسی مسیح خداوند بر شما باد.

May God, the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and give you peace.

۳ 3 ‌ای برادران می‌باید همیشه بجهت شما خدارا شکر کنیم، چنانکه سزاوار است، از آنجا که ایمان شما بغایت نمو می‌کند و محبت هر یکی ازشما جمیع با همدیگر می‌افزاید،

Friends, it is our duty always to thank God about you, as is but right, considering the wonderful growth of your faith, and because, without exception, your love for one another is continually increasing.

۴ 4 بحدی که خود ما در خصوص شما در کلیساهای خدا فخرمی کنیم به‌سبب صبر و ایمانتان در همه مصایب شما و عذابهایی که متحمل آنها می‌شوید،

So much is this the case that we ourselves speak with pride, before the churches of God, of the patience and faith which you have shown, in spite of all the persecutions and troubles that you are enduring.

۵ 5 که دلیل است بر داوری عادل خدا تا شما مستحق ملکوت خدا بشوید که برای آن هم زحمت می‌کشید.

These persecutions will vindicate the justice of God’s judgment, and will result in your being reckoned worthy of God’s kingdom, for the sake of which you are now suffering;

۶ 6 زیرا که این انصاف است نزد خدا که عذاب کنندگان شما را عذاب دهد.

since God deems it just to inflict suffering on those who are now inflicting suffering on you,

۷ 7 و شما را که عذاب می‌کشید، با ما راحت بخشد در هنگامی که عیسی خداوند از آسمان با فرشتگان قوت خودظهور خواهد نمود

and to give relief to you who are suffering, as well as to us, at the appearing of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire.

۸ 8 در آتش مشتعل و انتقام خواهد کشید از آنانی که خدا را نمی شناسند وانجیل خداوند ما عیسی مسیح را اطاعت نمی کنند،

Then he will inflict punishment on those who refuse to know God, and on those who turn a deaf ear to the good news of Jesus, our Lord.

۹ 9 که ایشان به قصاص هلاکت جاودانی خواهند رسید از حضور خداوند و جلال قوت او (aiōnios g166)

They will pay the penalty of unutterable ruin – banished from the presence of the Lord and from the glorious manifestation of his might, (aiōnios g166)

۱۰ 10 هنگامی که آید تا در مقدسان خود جلال یابدو در همه ایمانداران از او تعجب کنند در آن روز، زیرا که شما شهادت ما را تصدیق کردید.

when he comes to be honoured in his people, and to be revered in all who have learned to believe in him (for you also believed our testimony) – as he will be on that day.

۱۱ 11 و برای این هم پیوسته بجهت شما دعامی کنیم که خدای ما شما را مستحق این دعوت شمارد و تمام مسرت نیکویی و عمل ایمان را باقوت کامل گرداند،

With this in view, our constant prayer for you is that our God may count you worthy of the call that you have received, and by his power make perfect your delight in all goodness and the efforts that have resulted from your faith.

۱۲ 12 تا نام خداوند ما عیسی مسیح در شما تمجید یابد و شما در وی بحسب فیض خدای ما و عیسی مسیح خداوند.

Then, in the loving kindness of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ, will the name of Jesus, our Lord, be honoured in you, and you in him.
