Filipenses 2

1 Por tanto, si hay en vosotros alguna consolación en Cristo, si algún refrigerio de amor, si alguna comunión del Espíritu, si algunas entrañas y conmiseraciones,

IF, therefore, you have consolation in the Meshiha, and if there be comfort in love, and if communion of the Spirit, and if compassions and mercies,

2 Cumplíd mi gozo en que penséis lo mismo, teniendo un mismo amor, siendo unánimes, sintiendo una misma cosa.

complete my gladness by having one sentiment and one love, and one soul and one mind.

3 Nada hagáis por contienda, o por vana gloria; antes en humildad de espíritu, estimándoos inferiores los unos a los otros,

And do nothing in contention or vainglorying, but in meekness of mind let a man consider his neighbour as better than himself.

4 No mirando cada uno a lo que es suyo, mas también a lo que es de los otros.

And let no one care for himself (only), but every one for his neighbour also.

5 Haya en vosotros los mismos sentimientos que hubo también en Cristo Jesús:

And feel this in yourselves, which Jeshu the Meshiha (did) also:

6 El cual siendo en forma de Dios, no tuvo por rapiña ser igual a Dios;

who, when he was in the form of Aloha, considered this not to be robbery, (this, namely, ) that he was the co-equal of Aloha:

7 Mas se despojó a sí mismo, tomando forma de siervo, hecho a semejanza de los hombres;

yet emptied he himself, and took the form of a servant, and was made in the form of men;

8 Y hallado en su condición como hombre, se humilló a sí mismo, haciéndose obediente hasta la muerte, y muerte de cruz.

and in fashion was found as a man, and humbled himself, and was obedient unto death, but the death of the cross.

9 Y por lo cual Dios también le ensalzó soberanamente, y le dio nombre que es sobre todo nombre;

Wherefore also Aloha greatly exalted him, and gave him a name that is more excellent than all names,

10 Para que al nombre de Jesús toda rodilla de lo celestial, de lo terrenal, y de lo infernal se doble;

that at the name of Jeshu every knee should kneel, of those in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth;

11 Y que toda lengua confiese, que Jesu Cristo es Señor para la gloria de Dios el Padre.

and that every tongue should confess that Jeshu the Meshiha is the Lord, to the glory of Aloha his Father.

12 Por tanto, amados míos, como siempre habéis obedecido, no como en mi presencia solamente, mas aun mucho más ahora en mi ausencia, obrád vuestra propia salud con temor y temblor.

WHEREFORE, my beloved, as you have all time obeyed, not while I am near you only, but now that I am far from you, the more with fear and trembling work the work of your salvation;

13 Porque Dios es el que en vosotros obra, así el querer como el hacer, según su buena voluntad.

for Aloha himself effectuates in you also to will, also to do, the thing which you will.

14 Hacéd todo sin murmuraciones, y sin disputas;

Do every thing without murmuring and without division;

15 Para que seáis irreprensibles, y sencillos, hijos de Dios, sin culpa, en medio de una raza torcida y perversa, entre los cuales resplandecéis como luminares en el mundo,

that you may be perfect and without spot, as the pure children of Aloha, who dwell in a generation depraved and perverse; and be manifest among them as luminaries in the world,

16 Reteniendo la palabra de vida; para que yo pueda gloriarme en el día de Cristo, de que no he corrido en vano, ni trabajado en vano.

to be unto them for a place of salvation, for my exultation in the day of the Meshiha, that I may not have run in vain, nor laboured to no purpose.

17 Y aunque yo sea sacrificado sobre el sacrificio y servicio de vuestra fe, me huelgo y me regocijo con todos vosotros.

But, also, offered on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad, and rejoice with you all;

18 Y por esto mismo holgáos también vosotros, y regocijáos conmigo.

so also you be glad and rejoice with me.

19 Mas espero en el Señor Jesús, que os enviaré presto a Timoteo, para que yo también esté de buen ánimo, conociendo vuestro estado.

But I hope in our Lord Jeshu to send Timotheos to you soon, that I also may have quietness when I learn concerning you.

20 Porque a ninguno tengo tan del mismo ánimo conmigo, que esté sinceramente solícito por vosotros;

For I have no other who is so as my (own) soul, who will diligently take care for yours.

21 Porque todos buscan lo que es suyo propio, no lo que es de Cristo Jesús.

For all are seeking what is theirs, and not what is of Jeshu Meshiha.

22 Mas vosotros sabéis la prueba que se ha hecho de él, y es, que como hijo con su padre, él ha servido conmigo en el evangelio.

But the proof of this you know, that as a son with his father, so hath he wrought with me in the gospel.

23 Así que a éste espero enviaros, luego que viere como van mis negocios.

Him, therefore, I hope to send to you speedily, when I shall have seen what with me.

24 Mas confío en el Señor que yo mismo también vendré prestamente a vosotros:

And I confide on my Lord, that I also speedily shall come unto you.

25 Sin embargo tuve por cosa necesaria enviaros a Epafrodito, mi hermano, y compañero, y consiervo mío, mas vuestro mensajero, y el que ministraba a mis necesidades.

But now the matter hath pressed me to send to you the brother Epaphroditos, who is a helper and labourer with me, but your messenger and minister to my necessity;

26 Porque tenía deseo vehemente de ver a todos vosotros; y estaba lleno de pesadumbre de que hubieseis oído que había enfermado.

for he desired to see you all, and was anxious, because he knew that you had heard that he was sick.

27 Y cierto que enfermó hasta la muerte; mas Dios tuvo misericordia de él; y no solamente de él mas de mí también, para que yo no tuviese tristeza sobre tristeza.

Yes, he was sick, unto death; but Aloha had mercy upon him; but not upon him only, but upon me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

28 Así que le envío más presto, para que viéndole otra vez, os regocijéis, y que yo esté con menos tristeza.

Urgently, therefore, have I sent him to you, that when you have seen him again you may rejoice, and that I may have a little breathing.

29 Recibídle, pues, en el Señor, con todo regocijo; y tenéd en estima a los tales;

Receive him, then, in the Lord with all joy; and those who are such, hold in estimation:

30 Porque por la obra de Cristo llegó hasta la muerte, exponiendo su vida para suplir vuestra falta en mi servicio.

because for the work of the Meshiha he had come nigh unto death, and was disregardful of his life, that he might accomplish that which you had wanted in the service which concerned me.
