Colosenses 2
1 Porque quiero que sepáis cuán gran combate yo sufro por vosotros, y por los que están en Laodicea, y por todos los que nunca vieron mi rostro en la carne;
But I wish you to know what an agony I have for you and for those who are in Laodikia, and for the rest who have not seen my person in the flesh;
2 Para que se consuelen sus corazones, estando juntamente aunados en amor, y para alcanzar todas las riquezas de plenitud de entendimiento, a fin de conocer el misterio de Dios, y del Padre, y de Cristo:
that their hearts may be comforted, and that they may approach in love to all the riches of assurance, and to the understanding of the knowledge of the mystery of Aloha the Father and of the Meshiha,
3 En el cual están escondidos todos los tesoros de sabiduría, y de conocimiento.
in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge.
4 Y esto digo para que nadie os engañe con palabras seductoras.
But this I say, Let no man deceive you with the persuasion of words.
5 Porque aunque esté ausente en el cuerpo, en el espíritu sin embargo estoy presente con vosotros, gozándome, y mirando vuestro buen orden, y la firmeza de vuestra fe en Cristo.
For though in the flesh I am far from you, yet in the spirit I am with you; and I rejoice to behold your order, and the firmness of your faith in the Meshiha.
6 Por tanto de la manera que habéis recibido al Señor Jesu Cristo, así andád en él,
As, then, you have received Jeshu Meshiha our Lord, (so) in him walk,
7 Arraigados, y sobreedificados en él, y afirmados en la fe, así como os ha sido enseñado, abundando en ella con hacimiento de gracias.
your roots strengthened, and you builded in him, and established in that faith which you have learned, that you may abound therein with thanksgiving.
8 Guardáos de que nadie os arrebate como despojo por medio de filosofía y vano engaño, según las tradiciones de los hombres, según los elementos del mundo, y no según Cristo:
Beware lest any man strip you by philosophy and by vain deceit, according to the teaching of men, and according to the principles of the world, and not according to the Meshiha,
9 Porque en él habita toda la plenitud de la divinidad corporalmente;
in whom dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 Y en él estáis completos, el cual es cabeza de todo principado y potestad.
And in him also you are complete; for he is the head of all principalities and powers.
11 En el cual también estáis circuncidados de circuncisión no hecha por manos, en el despojamiento del cuerpo de los pecados de la carne, por la circuncisión de Cristo:
And in him you have been circumcised with the circumcision which is not with hands, by the putting away of the flesh of sins, (even) by the circumcision of the Meshiha.
12 Sepultados juntamente con él en el bautismo, en el cual también resucitasteis con él por la fe de la operación de Dios, que le levantó de entre los muertos:
And you have been buried with him by baptism, and in him have risen with him, who have believed in the power of Aloha who raised him from among the dead.
13 Y a vosotros, estando muertos en los pecados y en la incircuncisión de vuestra carne, os dio vida juntamente con él, perdonándoos todos los pecados:
And you who were dead in your sins, and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he hath made alive with him, and forgiven us all our sins;
14 Rayendo de en contra de nosotros la escritura de las ordenanzas que nos era contraria, quitándola de en medio, y enclavándola en la cruz;
and hath blotted out in his mandates the writing of our debts that was against us, and hath taken it from the midst, and affixed it to his cross;
15 Y habiendo despojado a los principados y a las potestades, sacóles a la vergüenza en público, triunfando sobre ellos en ella.
and by the yielding up of his body he hath prostrated principalities and powers, and hath shamed them openly by himself.
16 Por tanto nadie os juzgue en comida, o en bebida, o en parte de día de fiesta, o de nueva luna, o de sábados;
LET no man therefore judge you in meat and in drink, or in the distinctions of festivals, and of new moons, and of shabeths,
17 Las cuales cosas son la sombra de lo que estaba por venir; mas el cuerpo es de Cristo.
which are shadows of those to come, but the body is the Meshiha.
18 Nadie os defraude de vuestro premio, complaciéndose en afectada humildad, y culto de ángeles, metiéndose en cosas que nunca vio, hinchado vanamente de su ánimo carnal,
And lest any man wish by abasement of mind to fetter you to be subject to the worship of angels, intruding upon that which he hath not seen, and vainly inflated in his fleshly mind;
19 Y no teniéndose de la Cabeza, de la cual todo el cuerpo alimentado y enlazado por medio de sus ligaduras y coyunturas, crece con el aumento de Dios.
and not holding the Head, from whom all the body is composed and constituted in joints and limbs, and increaseth (with) the increase of Aloha.
20 Si, pues, sois muertos juntamente con Cristo cuanto a los rudimentos del mundo, ¿por qué aun, como que vivieseis en el mundo, os sujetáis a ordenanzas:
For if you are dead with the Meshiha from the principles of the world, why as if you lived in the world are you judged? as that
21 (No comas, No gustes, No toques;
you are not to touch, nor to taste, nor to handle?
22 Cosas todas que han de perecer en el mismo uso de ellas; ) según los mandamientos y doctrinas de hombres?
For these are of perishable use, and are ordinances and doctrines of men;
23 Las cuales cosas tienen a la verdad alguna apariencia de sabiduría en culto voluntario, y en cierta humildad de espíritu, y en maltratamiento del cuerpo, empero no en honor alguno para hartura de la carne.
and appear to have in them a reason of wisdom, with the look of humility and the fear of Aloha, (as) not sparing the body, (yet) not in that which is (really) of value, but in those (things) whose use pertains to the flesh.
