1 Tesalonicenses 3

1 Por lo cual no lo pudiendo ya más sufrir, acordamos de quedarnos solos en Aténas;

And because we could not endure, we were willing to be left at Athinos alone,

2 Y enviamos a Timoteo, nuestro hermano, y ministro de Dios, y ayudador nuestro en el evangelio de Cristo, a confirmaros y a exhortaros en cuanto a vuestra fe;

and to send to you Timotheos our brother, a minister of Aloha and our helper in the gospel of the Meshiha, to fortify you, and inquire of you concerning your faith,

3 Para que nadie se conmueva en estas tribulaciones; porque vosotros sabéis que nosotros somos puestos para esto.

that none of you should be slain through these afflictions; for you know that to this we are set.

4 Que aun estando con vosotros os predecíamos que habíamos de pasar tribulaciones, como ha acontecido, y lo sabéis.

For while also we were with you, we foretold you that we were to be afflicted, as you know that it hath been.

5 Por lo cual también yo no lo pudiendo ya más aguantar, envié a reconocer vuestra fe, temiendo que no os haya tentado de algún modo el tentador, y que nuestro trabajo haya sido en vano.

On account of this also, I, not enduring until I had sent to know your faith, lest the tempter should tempt you, and we should have laboured in vain;

6 Empero volviendo ahora de vosotros a nosotros Timoteo, y trayéndonos las buenas nuevas de vuestra fe y caridad; y que siempre tenéis buena memoria de nosotros, deseando ardientemente vernos, como también nosotros a vosotros:

but now when Timotheos came to us from among you, and gave us intelligence of your faith and of your love, and that you have a good remembrance of us in every season, and desire to see us as we also (to see) you;

7 En ello, hermanos, recibimos consolación de vosotros en toda nuestra aflicción y aprieto, por causa de vuestra fe;

on this account we were comforted in you, my brethren, in all our anxieties and our afflictions because of your faith.

8 Porque ahora vivimos nosotros, si vosotros estáis firmes en el Señor.

And now we live, if you are established in our Lord.

9 Por lo cual ¿qué hacimiento de gracias podremos dar a Dios otra vez por vosotros, por todo el gozo con que nos gozamos a causa de vosotros delante de nuestro Dios;

For what thanks giving can we render on account of you to Aloha, over all the joy with which we rejoice on your behalf,

10 Orando de noche y de día con grande instancia, que veamos vuestro rostro, y que cumplamos lo que falta a vuestra fe?

unless before Aloha we supplicate exceedingly by night and by day to see your faces, and to perfect what is wanting to your faith?

11 Mas el mismo Dios y Padre nuestro, y el Señor nuestro Jesu Cristo encamine nuestro viaje a vosotros.

But Aloha himself, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, will make straight our way to you,

12 Y el Señor os haga crecer y abundar en amor los unos para con los otros, y para con todos, así como también nosotros para con vosotros.

and he will cause your love to increase to one another, and to every man, even as we love you;

13 Para que sean confirmados vuestros corazones en la santidad irreprensibles delante del Dios y Padre nuestro, en la venida del Señor nuestro Jesu Cristo con todos sus santos.

and will establish your hearts without blame in holiness, before Aloha our Father, at the advent of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha with all his saints.
