Ezequiel 37
1 Vino sobre mí la mano de Yahvé: Yahvé me sacó fuera en espíritu, y me colocó en medio de la llanura, la cual estaba llena de huesos.
The hand of Yahweh, being upon me, he carried me forth in the spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of a plain, —and the same was full of bones;
2 Y me hizo pasar junto a ellos, todo en torno; y he aquí que eran numerosísimos. Estaban (tendidos) sobre la superficie de la llanura y secos en extremo.
and he caused me to pass near them. round about on every side, —and lo! they were very many on the face of the plain, and lo! they were very dry.
3 Y me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, ¿acaso volverán a tener vida estos huesos?” Yo respondí: “Yahvé, Señor, Tú lo sabes.”
Then said he unto me, Son of man. Can these bones, live? And I said My Lord Yahweh, thou, knowest!
4 Entonces me dijo: “Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: ¡Huesos secos, oíd la palabra de Yahvé!
Then said he unto me, Prophesy, over these bones, —and thou shalt say unto them, Ye bones so dry! hear ye the word of Yahweh!
5 Así dice Yahvé a estos huesos: He aquí que os infundiré espíritu y viviréis.
Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Unto these bones, — Lo! I am about to bring into you— spirit, and ye shall live;
6 Os recubriré de nervios, haré crecer carne sobre vosotros, os revestiré de piel y os infundiré espíritu para que viváis; y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé.”
Yea I will lay upon you—sinews, And bring up over you flesh. And cover over you—skin, And put in you—spirit And ye shall live, Then shall ye know that I, am Yahweh.
7 Profeticé como se me había mandado; y mientras yo profetizaba he aquí que hubo un ruido tumultuoso, y se juntaron los huesos, cada hueso con su hueso (correspondiente).
And when I prophesied as I was commanded, then was there a noise, as I prophesied and lo! a rattling, and the bones came near, each bone unto its own bone.
8 Y miré y he aquí que crecieron sobre ellos nervios y carnes y por encima los cubrió piel; pero no había en ellos espíritu.
And when I looked, then lo! upon them were sinews, and flesh had come up, and there had spread over them skin above, but spirit, was there none within them.
9 Entonces me dijo: “Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di al aliento: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Ven, oh espíritu de los cuatro vientos, y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán.”
Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the spirit, Prophesy, Son of man. and thou shalt say unto the spirit. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh- From the four winds, come thou, O spirit, And breathe into these slain That they may live.
10 Profeticé como Él me había mandado; y entró en ellos el espíritu, y vivieron y se pusieron en pie, (formando) un ejército sumamente grande.
And when I prophesied as he commanded me, then came into them the spirit, and they lived and stood upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Entonces me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, estos huesos son toda la casa de Israel. Mira cómo dicen: «Se han secado nuestros huesos y ha perecido nuestra esperanza; estamos completamente perdidos».
Then said he unto me, Son of man. These bones, are all the house of Israel, — Lo! they are saying. Dried are our bones, and lost is our hope We are quite cut off!
12 Por eso profetiza, y diles: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que abriré vuestros sepulcros y os sacaré de vuestras tumbas, oh pueblo mío, y os llevaré a la tierra de Israel.
Therefore prophesy and thou shalt say unto them Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Lo I myself am going to open your graves And will cause you to come up out of your graves. O my people, — And will bring you upon the soil of Israel.
13 Y al abrir Yo vuestros sepulcros y al sacaros de vuestras tumbas, conoceréis, oh pueblo mío, que Yo soy Yahvé.
So shall ye know that I, am Yahweh, — When I open your graves. And cause you to come up out of your graves O my people,
14 E infundiré en vosotros mi espíritu y viviréis, y os daré reposo en vuestra tierra; y conoceréis que Yo, Yahvé, lo he dicho, y Yo lo hago, dice Yahvé.”
And I will put my spirit within you and ye shall live, And I will settle you upon your own soil, So shall ye know that I, Yahweh have spoken and have performed. Declareth Yahweh.
15 Me fue dirigida la palabra de Yahvé que dijo:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
16 “Tú, hijo de hombre, toma una vara y escribe en ella: «Para Judá y los hijos de Israel unidos a él». Luego toma otra vara y escribe en ella: «Para José, el báculo de Efraím, y para toda la casa de Israel que le está unida».
Thou therefore Son of man Take thee one stick, and write upon it For Judah, and for the sons of Israel his companions, Then take thou another stick, and write upon it For Joseph the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel his companions.
17 Y acerca la una a la otra para que sean una sola vara; y se unirán en tu mano.
Then bring them near—the one to the other —for thee into one stick, - And they shall become united in thy hand.
18 Y cuando los hijos de tu pueblo te pregunten, diciendo: «¿No nos explicarás qué significa esto para ti?»
And when the sons of thy people speak unto thee, saying, - Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to thee?
19 diles: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que voy a tomar la vara de José que está en mano de Efraím, y las tribus de Israel que le están unidas, y las juntaré con la vara de Judá, haciendo de ellas una sola vara; y vendrán a ser una misma cosa en mi mano.
speak unto them Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Lo! I, myself, am going to take the stick of Joseph. which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions, — And I will place them upon it even upon the stick of Judah. And will make of them one stick, And they shall become one in my hand.
20 Las varas en que tú escribas han de estar en tu mano, ante los ojos de ellos;
And the sticks whereon thou shalt write shall remain in thy hand before their eyes.
21 y les dirás: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que Yo sacaré a los hijos de Israel de entre las naciones adonde fueron; los recogeré de todas las partes y los llevaré a su tierra.
Therefore speak thou unto them Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Lo! I myself, am going to take the sons of Israel, from among the nations whither they have gone, — And I will gather them from every side, And will bring them in upon their own soil;
22 Y haré de ellos una sola nación en el país, en los montes de Israel; un solo rey reinará sobre todos ellos; nunca más serán dos naciones ni se dividirán ya en dos reinos.
And will make of them one nation in the land. among the mountains of Israel, And one king, shall they all have for king, —And they shall remain no longer two nations, Nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more.
23 No se contaminarán más con sus ídolos, con sus abominaciones, ni con ninguna de sus transgresiones, puesto que Yo los pondré en salvo (sacándolos) de todos los lugares donde pecaron, y los purificaré; y ellos serán mi pueblo, y Yo seré su Dios.
Neither shall they defile themselves any more With their manufactured gods or With their detestable things, or With any of their transgressions, - But I will save them out of all their dwelling- places, wherein they have sinned, And I will cleanse them And they shall become my people, And I, will become their God.
24 Mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos; y todos ellos tendrán un solo Pastor; observarán mis leyes y guardarán mis mandamientos y los cumplirán.
And my servant David shall be king over them, And one shepherd, shall they all have, And in my regulations, shall they walk, And my statutes, shall they observe and do them.
25 Y habitarán en la tierra que Yo di a mi siervo Jacob, donde moraron vuestros padres; allí habitarán para siempre, ellos y sus hijos y los hijos de sus hijos; y mi siervo David será para siempre su príncipe.
And they shall dwell upon the land. which I gave to my servant- to Jacob, Wherein your fathers dwelt, — Yea they shall dwell thereupon. They, and their children and their children’s children Unto times age-abiding, And David my servant shall be prince unto them Unto times age-abiding.
26 Y haré con todos ellos una alianza de paz, que será para ellos una alianza eterna; los estableceré y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi Santuario en medio de ellos perpetuamente.
And I will solemnise to them a covenant of prosperity, A covenant age-abiding, shall it be with them, — And I will place them. And multiply them, And set my sanctuary in the midst of them. Unto times age-abiding.
27 Y tendré entre ellos mi morada, y Yo seré el Dios de ellos, y ellos serán el pueblo mío.
And my habitation shall be over them, And I will become their God, - And they, shall become my people,
28 Y conocerán los gentiles que Yo soy Yahvé, el santificador de Israel, cuando mi Santuario esté en medio de ellos para siempre.”
So shall the nations know that I, Yahweh, am hallowing Israel, - When my sanctuary is in the midst of them Unto times age-abiding.
