1 Coríntios 7
1 Ora, quanto ás coisas, que me escrevestes, bom seria que o homem não tocasse mulher;
Now concerning the things about which you wrote: it is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 Mas, por causa da fornicação, cada um tenha a sua propria mulher, e cada uma tenha o seu proprio marido.
But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
3 O marido pague á mulher a devida benevolencia, e da mesma sorte a mulher ao marido.
Let the husband fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband.
4 A mulher não tem poder sobre o seu proprio corpo, mas tem-o o marido; e tambem da mesma maneira o marido não tem poder sobre o seu proprio corpo, mas tem-o a mulher.
The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife.
5 Não vos defraudeis um ao outro, senão por consentimento de ambos por algum tempo, para vos applicardes á oração: e depois ajuntae-vos outra vez, para que Satanás vos não tente pela vossa incontinencia.
Do not deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to prayer, and may be together again, that Satana does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
6 Digo, porém, isto por permissão e não por mandamento.
But this I say by way of concession, not of commandment.
7 Porque quizera que todos os homens fossem como eu mesmo: mas cada um tem de Deus o seu proprio dom, um d'uma maneira e outro d'outra.
Yet I wish that all people were like me. However each one has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.
8 Digo, porém, aos solteiros e ás viuvas, que lhes é bom se ficarem como eu
But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am.
9 Mas, se não podem conter-se, casem-se. Porque é melhor casar-se do que abrazar-se.
But if they do not have self-control, let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn.
10 Porém aos casados, mando, não eu mas o Senhor, que a mulher se não aparte do marido.
But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband
11 Se, porém, se apartar, que fique sem casar, ou que se reconcilie com o marido; e que o marido não deixe a mulher.
(but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.
12 Mas aos outros digo eu, não o Senhor: Se algum irmão tem mulher descrente, e ella consente em habitar com elle, não a deixe.
But to the rest I—not the Lord—say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her.
13 E, se alguma mulher tem marido descrente, e elle consente em habitar com ella, não o deixe.
The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband.
14 Porque o marido descrente é sanctificado pela mulher: e a mulher descrente é sanctificada pelo marido; d'outra sorte os vossos filhos seriam immundos; porém agora são sanctos.
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the brother. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
15 Mas, se o descrente se apartar, aparte-se; porque n'este caso o irmão, ou irmã, não está sujeito á servidão; mas Deus chamou-nos para a paz
Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called you to peace.
16 Porque, d'onde sabes tu ó mulher, se salvarás o marido? ou, d'onde sabes tu, ó marido, se salvarás a mulher?
For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
17 Porém cada um ande assim como Deus lhe repartiu, cada um como o Senhor o chamou. E assim ordeno em todas as egrejas.
Only, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, so let him walk. So I command in all the congregations.
18 É alguem chamado estando já circumcidado? fique circumcidado. É alguem chamado estando incircumcidado? não se circumcide.
Was anyone called having been circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Has anyone been called in uncircumcision? Let him not be circumcised.
19 A circumcisão é nada e a incircumcisão nada é, mas sim a observancia dos mandamentos de Deus.
Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
20 Cada um fique na vocação em que foi chamado.
Let each person stay in that calling in which he was called.
21 Foste chamado sendo servo? não te dê cuidado; e, se ainda podes ser livre, antes aproveita-te.
Were you called being a slave? Do not let that bother you, but if you get an opportunity to become free, use it.
22 Porque o que é chamado pelo Senhor, sendo servo, é liberto do Senhor; e da mesma maneira tambem o que é chamado sendo livre, servo é de Christo.
For he who was called in the Lord being a slave is the Lord's free person. Likewise he who was called being free is Meshikha's slave.
23 Fostes comprados por preço; não vos façaes servos dos homens.
You were bought with a price. Do not become slaves of people.
24 Irmãos, cada um fique diante de Deus no estado em que foi chamado.
Brothers, let each one, in whatever condition he was called, stay in that condition with God.
25 Ora, quanto ás virgens, não tenho mandamento do Senhor; dou, porém, o meu parecer, como quem tem alcançado misericordia do Senhor para ser fiel.
Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment from the Lord, but I give my judgment as one who has obtained mercy from the Lord to be trustworthy.
26 Tenho pois isto por bom, por causa da instante necessidade, que é bom para o homem o estar assim.
I think that it is good therefore, because of the distress that is on us, that it is good for a person to remain as he is.
27 Estás ligado á mulher? não busques separar-te. Estás livre de mulher? não busques mulher.
Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be freed. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife.
28 Mas, se tambem casares, não peccas; e, se a virgem se casar, não pecca. Todavia os taes terão tribulações na carne; porém eu vos poupo
But if you marry, you have not sinned. If a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Yet such will have oppression in the flesh, and I want to spare you.
29 Isto, porém, vos digo, irmãos, que o tempo se abrevia; o que resta é que tambem os que teem mulheres sejam como se as não tivessem;
But I say this, brothers: the time is short, that from now on, those who have wives should be as though they had none;
30 E os que choram, como se não chorassem; e os que folgam, como se não folgassem; e os que compram, como se não possuissem;
and those who weep, as though they did not weep; and those who rejoice, as though they did not rejoice; and those who buy, as though they did not possess;
31 E os que usam d'este mundo, como se d'elle não abusassem, porque a apparencia d'este mundo passa.
and those who use the world, as not using it to the fullest. For the form of this world is passing away.
32 E bem quizera eu que estivesseis sem cuidado. O solteiro cuida nas coisas do Senhor, em como ha de agradar ao Senhor:
But I desire to have you to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord;
33 Mas o que é casado cuida nas coisas do mundo, em como ha de agradar á mulher.
but he who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife,
34 Ha differença entre a mulher casada e a virgem: a solteira cuida nas coisas do Senhor para ser sancta, assim do corpo como do espirito; porém a casada cuida nas coisas do mundo, em como ha de agradar ao marido.
and is divided. And the woman that is unmarried, or a virgin, is concerned about the things of the Lord, so that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But the one that is married is concerned about the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
35 Porém digo isto para proveito vosso, não para vos enlaçar, mas para vos guiar ao que é decente e conveniente, para vos unirdes ao Senhor sem distracção alguma.
This I say for your own profit; not that I may ensnare you, but for that which is appropriate, and that you may attend to the Lord without distraction.
36 Mas, se alguem julga que trata sem decoro a sua filha virgem, se tiver passado a flor da idade, e assim convier que se case, faça o tal o que quizer; não pecca; casem-se.
But if anyone thinks that he is behaving inappropriately toward his virgin, if she is past the flower of her age, and if need so requires, let him do what he desires. He does not sin. Let them marry.
37 Porém o que está firme em seu coração, não tendo necessidade, mas tem poder sobre a sua propria vontade, e isto resolveu no seu coração, guardar a sua virgem, faz bem.
But he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but has power over his own heart, to keep his own virgin, does well.
38 De sorte que, o que a dá em casamento, faz bem; mas o que a não dá em casamento faz melhor.
So then both he who gives his own virgin in marriage does well, and he who does not give her in marriage does better.
39 A mulher casada está ligada pela lei todo o tempo que o seu marido vive; mas, se fallecer o seu marido, fica livre para casar com quem quizer, comtanto que seja no Senhor.
A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord.
40 Porém será mais bemaventurada se ficar assim, segundo o meu parecer, e tambem eu cuido que tenho o Espirito de Deus.
But she is happier if she stays as she is, in my judgment, and I think that I also have God's Rukha.
