1 Coríntios 11
1 Sede meus imitadores, como tambem eu de Christo.
Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Meshikha.
2 E louvo-vos irmãos, porque em tudo vos lembraes de mim, e retendes os preceitos como vol-os entreguei.
Now I praise you, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.
3 Mas quero que saibaes que Christo é a cabeça de todo o varão, e o varão a cabeça da mulher; e Deus a cabeça de Christo.
But I would have you know that the head of every man is Meshikha, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Meshikha is God.
4 Todo o homem que ora ou prophetiza, tendo a cabeça coberta, deshonra a sua propria cabeça.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
5 Mas toda a mulher que ora, ou prophetiza com a cabeça descoberta, deshonra a sua propria cabeça, porque é o mesmo que se estivesse rapada.
But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.
6 Portanto, se a mulher não se cobre, tosquie-se tambem. Mas, se para a mulher é coisa indecente tosquiar-se ou rapar-se, cubra-se.
For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
7 O varão pois não deve cobrir a cabeça, porque é a imagem e gloria de Deus, mas a mulher é a gloria do varão.
For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 Porque o varão não provém da mulher, mas a mulher do varão.
For man is not from woman, but woman from man;
9 Porque tambem o varão não foi criado por causa da mulher, mas a mulher por causa do varão.
for neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.
10 Portanto, a mulher deve ter sobre a cabeça signal de poderio, por causa dos anjos.
For this cause the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels.
11 Todavia, nem o varão é sem a mulher, nem a mulher sem o varão, no Senhor.
Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord.
12 Porque, como a mulher provém do varão, assim tambem o varão provém da mulher, mas tudo de Deus.
For as woman came from man, so a man also comes through a woman; but all things are from God.
13 Julgae entre vós mesmos: é decente que a mulher ore a Deus descoberta?
Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled?
14 Ou não vos ensina a mesma natureza que é deshonra para o varão ter cabello crescido?
Doesn't even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
15 Mas ter a mulher cabello crescido lhe é honroso, porque o cabello lhe foi dado em logar de véu.
But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering.
16 Porém, se alguem quizer ser contencioso, nós não temos tal costume, nem as egrejas de Deus.
But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's congregations.
17 N'isto, porém, que vou dizer-vos não vos louvo; porquanto vos ajuntaes, não para melhor, senão para peior.
But in giving you this command, I do not praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse.
18 Porque primeiramente ouço que, quando vos ajuntaes na egreja, ha entre vós dissensões; e em parte o creio.
For first of all, when you come together in the church, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.
19 Porque importa que até haja entre vós heresias, para que os que são sinceros se manifestem entre vós.
For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
20 De sorte que, quando vos ajuntaes n'um logar, não é para comer a ceia do Senhor.
When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat.
21 Porque, comendo, cada um toma antecipadamente a sua propria ceia, de sorte que um tem fome e outro embriaga-se.
For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunk.
22 Não tendes porventura casas para comer e para beber? Ou desprezaes a egreja de Deus, e envergonhaes os que nada teem? Que vos direi? Louvar-vos-hei? N'isto não vos louvo.
What, do you not have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's church, and put them to shame who do not have? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I do not praise you.
23 Porque eu recebi do Senhor o que tambem vos ensinei: que o Senhor Jesus, na noite em que foi trahido, tomou o pão;
For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Yeshua on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.
24 E, tendo dado graças, o partiu e disse: Tomae, comei: isto é o meu corpo que é partido por vós; fazei isto em memoria de mim
When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body, which is for you. Do this in memory of me."
25 Similhantemente tambem, depois de ceiar, tomou o calix, dizendo: Este calix é o Novo Testamento no meu sangue: fazei isto, todas as vezes que beberdes, em memoria de mim.
In the same way he also took the cup, after the meal, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me."
26 Porque todas as vezes que comerdes este pão e beberdes este calix annunciaes a morte do Senhor, até que venha.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
27 Portanto, qualquer que comer este pão, ou beber o calix do Senhor indignamente, será culpado do corpo do sangue do Senhor.
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
28 Examine-se pois o homem a si mesmo, e assim coma d'este pão e beba d'este calix.
But let a person examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
29 Porque o que come e bebe indignamente, come e bebe para si mesmo o juizo, não discernindo o corpo do Senhor.
For he who eats and drinks eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he does not discern the body.
30 Por causa d'isto ha entre vós muitos fracos e doentes, e muitos que dormem.
For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
31 Porque, se nós nos julgassemos a nós mesmos, não seriamos julgados.
For if we discerned ourselves, we would not be judged.
32 Mas, quando somos julgados, somos reprehendidos pelo Senhor, para não sermos condemnados com o mundo.
But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
33 Portanto, meus irmãos, quando vos ajuntaes para comer, esperae uns pelos outros.
Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait one for another.
34 Porém, se algum tiver fome, coma em casa, para que vos não ajunteis para condemnação. Quanto ás demais coisas, ordenal-as-hei quando fôr.
But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
