To the Chief Musician. With Stringed Instruments. A Melody of Asaph, a Song. God is, known in Judah, In Israel, great is his Name;
| خیمه او است درشالیم و مسکن او در صهیون. | ۲ 2 |
Now hath come into Salem, his pavilion, And his dwelling-place into Zion.
| در آنجا، برقهای کمان را شکست. سپر و شمشیر و جنگ را، سلاه. | ۳ 3 |
There, hath he broken in pieces the arrows of the bow, shield and sword, and battle. (Selah)
| تو جلیل هستی و مجید، زیاده از کوههای یغما! | ۴ 4 |
Enveloped in light, thou, art more majestic than the mountains of prey.
| قوی‌دلان تاراج شده‌اند و خواب ایشان رادرربود و همه مردان زورآور دست خود رانیافتند. | ۵ 5 |
The valiant of heart have become a spoil, They have slumbered their sleep, And none of the men of might have found their hands.
| از توبیخ تو‌ای خدای یعقوب، بر ارابه هاو اسبان خوابی گران مستولی گردید. | ۶ 6 |
At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Stunned are the horsemen.
| تو مهیب هستی، تو! و در حین غضبت، کیست که به حضورتو ایستد؟ | ۷ 7 |
As for thee, to be feared thou art! Who then shall stand before thee, because of the power of thine anger?
| از آسمان داوری را شنوانیدی. پس جهان بترسید و ساکت گردید. | ۸ 8 |
Out of the heavens, didst thou cause judgment to be heard, Earth, feared and was still:
| چون خدا برای داوری قیام فرماید تا همه مساکین جهان راخلاصی بخشد، سلاه، | ۹ 9 |
When God rose up to judgment, To save all the oppressed of the earth. (Selah)
| آنگاه خشم انسان تو راحمد خواهد گفت و باقی خشم را بر کمر خودخواهی بست. | ۱۰ 10 |
For the multitude of mankind shall give thanks unto thee, The remainder of the multitude, shall keep holy festival unto thee.
| نذر کنید و وفا نمایید برای یهوه خدای خود. همه که گرداگرد او هستند، هدیه بگذرانند نزد او که مهیب است. | ۱۱ 11 |
Vow and pay, unto Yahweh your God, —Let, all who are round about him, bear along a gift unto him who is to be revered.
| روح روسا رامنقطع خواهد ساخت و برای پادشاهان جهان مهیب می‌باشد. | ۱۲ 12 |
He cutteth off the spirit of nobles, he is of reverend majesty to the kings of the earth.
