| مزمور داود ای خداوند با خصمان من مخاصمه نما و جنگ کن با آنانی که با من جنگ می‌کنند. | ۱ 1 |
David’s. Contend, O Yahweh, with them who contend with me, Make war upon them who make war upon me.
| سپر و مجن را بگیر و به اعانت من برخیز. | ۲ 2 |
Grasp buckler and shield, and arise in my help;
| و نیزه را راست کن و راه را پیش روی جفاکنندگانم ببند و به‌جان من بگو من نجات توهستم. | ۳ 3 |
Then draw the spear, and close up against my pursuers, Say to my soul, Thy salvation, I am!
| خجل و رسوا شوند آنانی که قصد جان من دارند و آنانی که بداندیش منند، برگردانیده وخجل شوند. | ۴ 4 |
Let them be ashamed and confounded, who are seeking my life, —Let them turn back and be put to the blush, who are devising my hurt:
| مثل کاه پیش روی باد باشند وفرشته خداوند ایشان را براند. | ۵ 5 |
Let them be as chaff before the wind, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pressing them on:
| راه ایشان تاریکی و لغزنده باد. و فرشته خداوند ایشان را تعاقب کند. | ۶ 6 |
Let their way become dark and slippery, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pursuing them.
| زیرا دام خود را برای من بی‌سبب درحفره‌ای پنهان کردند که آن را برای جان من بی‌جهت کنده بودند. | ۷ 7 |
For, without cause, have they hid for me, in a ditch, their net, —Without cause, have they digged [a pit] for my life.
| هلاکت ناگهانی بدو برسد و دامی که پنهان کرد خودش را بگیرد و در آن به هلاکت گرفتار گردد. | ۸ 8 |
There shall reach him a ruin he could not know, —Yea, his own net which he hath hidden, shall capture him, Into that ruin, shall he fall!
| و اما جان من در خداوندوجد خواهد کرد و در نجات او شادی خواهدنمود. | ۹ 9 |
But, my soul, shall exult in Yahweh, —shall be glad in his salvation.
| همه استخوانهایم می‌گویند «ای خداوندکیست مانند تو که مسکین را از شخص قوی تر ازاو می‌رهاند و مسکین وفقیر را از تاراج کننده وی.» | ۱۰ 10 |
All my bones, shall say—O Yahweh, who is like unto thee? Rescuing the oppressed from one stronger than he, Yea the oppressed and the needy, from their spoiler.
| شاهدان کینه ور برخاسته‌اند. چیزهایی را که نمی دانستم از من می‌پرسند. | ۱۱ 11 |
There rise up witnesses helping forward violence and wrong, What I know not, they demand of me:
| به عوض نیکویی بدی به من می‌کنند. جان مرا بیکس گردانیده‌اند. | ۱۲ 12 |
They repay me evil for good, Bereaving my soul.
| و اما من چون ایشان بیمار می‌بودند پلاس می‌پوشیدم. جان خود را به روزه می‌رنجانیدم ودعایم به سینه‌ام برمی گشت. | ۱۳ 13 |
But, as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I humbled, with fasting, my soul, though, my prayer, unto mine own bosom, might return:
| مثل آنکه اودوست و برادرم می‌بود، سرگردان می‌رفتم. چون کسی‌که برای مادرش ماتم گیرد، از حزن خم می‌شدم. | ۱۴ 14 |
Like as for a friend, like as for a brother of mine own, I walked to and fro, As though mourning for a mother, I gloomily bowed myself down.
| ولی چون افتادم شادی‌کنان جمع شدند. آن فرومایگان بر من جمع شدند. و کسانی که نشناخته بودم مرا دریدند و ساکت نشدند. | ۱۵ 15 |
But, in mine overthrow, have they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together, —There gathered themselves together against me foolish men, and I knew it not, They have torn in pieces, and not been silent;
| مثل فاجرانی که برای نان مسخرگی می‌کنند. دندانهای خود را بر من می‌افشردند. | ۱۶ 16 |
Amidst profane praters of perversion, have they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
| ای خداوند تا به کی نظر خواهی کرد! جانم را ازخرابیهای ایشان برهان و یگانه مرا از شیربچگان. | ۱۷ 17 |
My Lord! how long wilt thou look on? Bring back my soul out of their raging, from among lions, my solitary self.
| و تو را در جماعت بزرگ حمد خواهم گفت. ترا در میان قوم عظیم تسبیح خواهم خواند. | ۱۸ 18 |
I will thank thee, in the midst of a great convocation, —In the midst of a mighty people, will I praise thee.
| تاآنانی که بی‌سبب دشمن منند، بر من فخر نکنند. وآنانی که بر من بی‌سبب بغض می‌نمایند، چشمک نزنند. | ۱۹ 19 |
Let not them who are falsely my foes rejoice over me, As for them who hate me without cause, let them not wink the eye!
| زیرا برای سلامتی سخن نمی گویند و برآنانی که در زمین آرامند سخنان حیله آمیز را تفکرمی کنند. | ۲۰ 20 |
For, no salvation, will they utter, —But, against the quiet of the land, deceitful things, do they devise;
| و دهان خود را بر من باز کرده، می‌گویند هه هه چشم ما دیده است. | ۲۱ 21 |
Yea they have opened wide against me their mouth, They have said, Aha! Aha! our own eye, hath seen!
| ای خداوند تو آن را دیده‌ای پس سکوت مفرما. ای خداوند از من دور مباش. | ۲۲ 22 |
Thou hast seen, O Yahweh, do not keep silence! O My Lord! be not far from me:
| خویشتن را برانگیز وبرای داد من بیدار شو، ای خدای من و خداوند من برای دعوی من. | ۲۳ 23 |
Bestir thyself and wake up, to my vindication, O my God and My Lord!—to my plea:
| ای یهوه خدایم مرا موافق عدل خود داد بده، مبادا بر من شادی نمایند. | ۲۴ 24 |
Vindicate me according to thy righteousness, O Yahweh, my God! And let them not rejoice over me:
| تادر دل خود نگویند اینک مراد ما. تا نگویند او رابلعیده‌ایم. | ۲۵ 25 |
Let them not say in their heart, Aha! to our mind! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up!
| و آنانی که در بدی من شادند، با هم خجل و شرمنده شوند. و آنانی که بر من تکبرمی کنند، به خجلت و رسوایی ملبس شوند. | ۲۶ 26 |
Let them turn pale, and then at once blush, who are rejoicing at my misfortune, —Let them be clothed with shame and confusion, who are magnifying themselves against me.
| آنانی که خواهان حق منند ترنم و شادی نمایند. و دائم گویند خداوند بزرگ است که به سلامتی بنده خود رغبت دارد. | ۲۷ 27 |
Let them shout in triumph and rejoice, who are desiring my justification; And let them say continually, Yahweh be magnified, Who hath taken pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
| و زبانم عدالت تو را بیان خواهد کرد و تسبیح تو را تمامی روز. | ۲۸ 28 |
Mine own tongue also, shall softly utter thy righteousness, —All the day long, —thy praise!
