مزامیر 34

۱ 1 مزمور داود وقتی که منش خود را به حضورابیملک تغییر داد و از حضور او بیرون رانده شده، برفت خداوند را در هر وقت متبارک خواهم گفت. تسبیح او دائم بر زبان من خواهدبود.

A psalm of David; when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him out. I will praise Yahweh at all times, his praise will always be in my mouth.

۲ 2 جان من در خداوند فخر خواهد کرد. مسکینان شنیده، شادی خواهند نمود.

I will praise Yahweh! May the oppressed hear and rejoice.

۳ 3 خداوندرا با من تکبیر نمایید. نام او را با یکدیگربرافرازیم.

Praise Yahweh with me, let us lift up his name together.

۴ 4 چون خداوند را طلبیدم مرامستجاب فرمود و مرا از جمیع ترسهایم خلاصی بخشید.

I sought Yahweh and he answered me, and he gave me victory over all my fears.

۵ 5 بسوی او نظر کردند و منور گردیدند ورویهای ایشان خجل نشد.

Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces are not ashamed.

۶ 6 این مسکین فریادکرد و خداوند او را شنید و او را از تمامی تنگیهایش رهایی بخشید.

This oppressed man cried and Yahweh heard him and saved him from all his troubles.

۷ 7 فرشته خداوندگرداگرد ترسندگان او است. اردو زده، ایشان رامی رهاند.

The angel of Yahweh camps around those who fear him and rescues them.

۸ 8 بچشید و ببینید که خداوند نیکواست. خوشابحال شخصی که بدو توکل می‌دارد.

Taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

۹ 9 ‌ای مقدسان خداوند از او بترسید زیرا که ترسندگان او را هیچ کمی نیست.

Fear Yahweh, you his holy people. There is no lack for those who fear him.

۱۰ 10 شیربچگان بی‌نوا شده، گرسنگی می‌کشند و اما طالبان خداوند را به هیچ‌چیز نیکو کمی نخواهد شد.

The young lions sometimes lack food and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh will not lack anything good.

۱۱ 11 ‌ای اطفال بیایید مرا بشنوید و ترس خداوند رابه شما خواهم آموخت.

Come, sons, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.

۱۲ 12 کیست آن شخصی که آرزومند حیات‌است و طول ایام را دوست می‌دارد تا نیکویی را ببیند.

What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good?

۱۳ 13 زبانت را از بدی نگاه دار و لبهایت را از سخنان حیله آمیز.

Then keep your tongue from evil and keep your lips from speaking lies.

۱۴ 14 ازبدی اجتناب نما و نیکویی بکن. صلح را طلب نماو در‌پی آن بکوش.

Turn away from evil and do good. Seek peace and go after it.

۱۵ 15 چشمان خداوند بسوی صالحان است و گوشهای وی بسوی فریاد ایشان.

The eyes of Yahweh are on the righteous and his ears are directed toward their cry.

۱۶ 16 روی خداوند بسوی بدکاران است تا ذکرایشان را از زمین منقطع سازد.

The face of Yahweh is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

۱۷ 17 چون (صالحان )فریاد برآوردند خداوند ایشان را شنید و ایشان رااز همه تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید.

The righteous cry out and Yahweh hears and he rescues them from all their troubles.

۱۸ 18 خداوند نزدیک شکسته دلان است و روح کوفتگان را نجات خواهد داد.

Yahweh is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those who are crushed in spirit.

۱۹ 19 زحمات مردصالح بسیار است. اما خداوند او را از همه آنهاخواهد رهانید.

Many are the troubles of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers them out of them all.

۲۰ 20 همه استخوانهای ایشان رانگاه می‌دارد، که یکی از آنها شکسته نخواهد شد.

He keeps all his bones, not one of them will be broken.

۲۱ 21 شریر را شرارت هلاک خواهد کرد و ازدشمنان مرد صالح موآخذه خواهد شد.

Evil will kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

۲۲ 22 خداوند جان بندگان خود را فدیه خواهد داد واز آنانی که بر وی توکل دارند موآخذه نخواهدشد.

Yahweh rescues the lives of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
