مزامیر 25

۱ 1 مزمور داود ای خداوند بسوی تو جان خود رابرمی افرازم. ای خدای من بر تو توکل می‌دارم.

[A Psalm] of David. Unto thee, Jehovah, do I lift up my soul.

۲ 2 پس مگذار که خجل بشوم و دشمنانم بر من فخر نمایند.

My God, I confide in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

۳ 3 بلی هر‌که انتظار تو می‌کشدخجل نخواهد شد. آنانی که بی‌سبب خیانت می‌کنند خجل خواهند گردید.

Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed: they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause.

۴ 4 ‌ای خداوندطریق های خود را به من بیاموز و راههای خویش را به من تعلیم ده.

Make me to know thy ways, O Jehovah; teach me thy paths.

۵ 5 مرا به راستی خود سالک گردان و مرا تعلیم ده زیرا تو خدای نجات من هستی. تمامی روز منتظر تو بوده‌ام.

Make me to walk in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

۶ 6 ‌ای خداونداحسانات و رحمت های خود را بیاد آور چونکه آنها از ازل بوده است.

Remember, Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses; for they are from everlasting.

۷ 7 خطایای جوانی وعصیانم را بیاد میاور. ای خداوند به رحمت خودو به‌خاطر نیکویی خویش مرا یاد کن.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy loving-kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, Jehovah.

۸ 8 خداوندنیکو و عادل است. پس به گناه کاران طریق راخواهد آموخت.

Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way:

۹ 9 مسکینان را به انصاف رهبری خواهد کرد و به مسکینان طریق خود را تعلیم خواهد داد.

The meek will he guide in judgment, and the meek will he teach his way.

۱۰ 10 همه راههای خداوند رحمت وحق است برای آنانی که عهد و شهادات او را نگاه می‌دارند.

All the paths of Jehovah are loving-kindness and truth for such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

۱۱ 11 ‌ای خداوند به‌خاطر اسم خود، گناه مرابیامرز زیرا که بزرگ است.

For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, thou wilt indeed pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

۱۲ 12 کیست آن آدمی که از خداوند می‌ترسد؟ او را بطریقی که اختیار کرده است خواهد آموخت.

What man is he that feareth Jehovah? him will he instruct in the way [that] he should choose.

۱۳ 13 جان او در نیکویی شب را بسر خواهد برد. و ذریت او وارث زمین خواهند شد.

His soul shall dwell in prosperity, and his seed shall inherit the earth.

۱۴ 14 سر خداوند با ترسندگان او است و عهد او تا ایشان را تعلیم دهد.

The secret of Jehovah is with them that fear him, that he may make known his covenant to them.

۱۵ 15 چشمان من دائم بسوی خداوند است زیرا که او پایهای مرااز دام بیرون می‌آورد.

Mine eyes are ever toward Jehovah; for he will bring my feet out of the net.

۱۶ 16 بر من ملتفت شده، رحمت بفرما زیرا که منفرد و مسکین هستم.

Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.

۱۷ 17 تنگیهای دل من زیاد شده است. مرا ازمشقت های من بیرون آور.

The troubles of my heart are increased: bring me out of my distresses;

۱۸ 18 بر مسکنت و رنج من نظر افکن و جمیع خطایایم را بیامرز.

Consider mine affliction and my travail, and forgive all my sins.

۱۹ 19 بردشمنانم نظر کن زیرا که بسیارند و به کینه تلخ به من کینه می‌ورزند.

Consider mine enemies, for they are many, and they hate me [with] cruel hatred.

۲۰ 20 جانم را حفظ کن و مرارهایی ده تا خجل نشوم زیرا بر تو توکل دارم.

Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I trust in thee.

۲۱ 21 کمال و راستی حافظ من باشند زیرا که منتظرتو هستم.

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

۲۲ 22 ‌ای خدا اسرائیل را خلاصی ده، ازجمیع مشقتهای وی.

Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
