Lukas 8
1 I den tidi som no fylgde på, for han kring i landet, frå by til by og frå grend til grend, og tala for folket og bar ut fagnadbodet um Gudsriket. Dei tolv var med honom,
And it fortuned after that that he him sylfe went throughout cities and tounes preachynge and shewinge ye kyngdom of God and the twelve with him.
2 og like eins nokre kvinnor som hadde vorte lækte for vonde ånder og sjukdomar; det var Maria, Magdalena dei kalla, som sju djevlar hadde fare utor,
And also certayne wemen which wer healed of evell spretes and infirmities: Mary called Magdalen out of whom went seven devyls
3 og Johanna, kona åt Kuzas, ein av futarne åt Herodes, og Susanna, og mange andre, som var deim til hjelp med det dei hadde.
and Ioanna ye wyfe of Chusa Herodees stewarde and Susanna and many other: which ministred vnto the of their substaunce.
4 Som det no samla seg mykje folk, og dei kom til honom frå byarne rundt ikring, sagde han i ei likning:
When moch people were gadred to gether and were come to him out of all cities he spake by a similitude.
5 «Ein såmann gjekk ut og skulde så sædet sitt. Og då han sådde, fall noko frammed vegen og vart nedtrakka, og fuglarne i lufti åt det upp.
A sower went out to sowe his seede: and as he sowed some fell by the waye syde and it was troden vnder fete and the foules of the ayre devoured it vp.
6 Sumt fall på berg, og då det voks upp, skein det burt, av di det ikkje hadde væta.
And some fell on ston and assone as it was spronge vp it widdred awaye because it lacked moystnes.
7 Sumt fall millom klunger, og klungeren voks med og kjøvde det.
And some fell amonge thornes and ye thornes spronge vp with it and choked it.
8 Sumt fall i god jord, og då det voks upp, gav det grøda i hundrad foll.» Som han sagde det, ropa han: «Høyr etter, kvar som høyra kann!»
And some fell on good grounde and sproge vp and bare frute an hondred foolde. And as he sayde these thinges he cryed: He that hath eares to heare let him heare.
9 Læresveinarne spurde honom kva den likningi skulde tyda.
And his disciples axed him sayinge: what maner similitude is this?
10 Då sagde han: «De fer vita løyndomarne i Guds rike, men dei andre fær høyra deim i likningar, so um dei ser, skal dei’kje sjå, og um dei høyrer, skal dei ikkje håtta.
And he sayde: vnto you is it geven to knowe the secretes of the kyngdom of God: but to other in similitudes that when they se they shuld not se: and when they heare they shuld not vnderstonde.
11 Men likningi er so å tyda: Sædet er Guds ord.
The similitude is this. The seede is ye worde of God.
12 Dei frammed vegen er dei som høyrer ordet; so kjem djevelen og tek det burt or hjarta deira, so dei ikkje skal tru og verta frelste.
Thoose yt are besyde the waye are they that heare and afterwarde cometh ye devyll and taketh awaye the worde out of their hertes lest they shuld beleve and be saved.
13 Dei på berget er dei som tek imot ordet med gleda når dei høyrer det; men dei hev ikkje rot; dei trur for eit bil, men i freistingsstundi fell dei frå.
They on the stonnes are they which when they heare receave the worde with ioye. But these have noo rootes which for a whyle beleve and in tyme of temtacio goo awaye.
14 Det som fall millom klungeren, det er dei som høyrer det, men so gjeng burt og vert kjøvde i suter og rikdom og verdsleg lyst, so dei ikkje ber fullmogi grøda.
And yt which fell amonge thornes are they which heare and goo forth and are choked wt cares and wt riches and volupteous lyvinge and bringe forth noo frute.
15 Men det i den gode jordi, det er dei som høyrer ordet og gøymer det i eit vænt og godt hjarta, og ber grøda i tolmod.
That in ye good grounde are they which with a good and pure hert heare the worde and kepe it and bringe forth frute with pacience.
16 Ingen kveikjer eit ljos og gøymer det under eit kjer eller set det under ei seng; alle set det i ein stake, so dei som kjem inn, kann sjå ljosken.
No man lyghteth a candell and covereth it vnder a vessell nether putteth it vnder ye table: but setteth it on a candelsticke that they that enter in maye se ye lyght.
17 For det finst ingen ting som er løynt og ikkje ein gong vert berrsynt, og ingen ting som er dult og ikkje ein gong vert kunnigt og kjem fram i dagen.
No thinge is in secret yt shall not come abroode: Nether eny thinge hyd that shall not be knowen and come to lyght.
18 Sjå då til korleis de høyrer! For den som hev, han skal få, og den som ikkje hev, skal missa endå det som han tykkjest hava.»
Take hede therfore how ye heare. For whosoever hath to him shalbe geve: And whosoever hath not fro him shalbe take even that same which he supposeth that he hath.
19 Mor hans og brørne hans kom ein gong og vilde finna honom, men kunde ikkje koma innåt honom for folkestimen.
Then came to him his mother and his brethren and coulde not come at him for prease.
20 Då fekk han det bodet: «Mor di og brørne dine stend utanfor og vil sjå deg.»
And they tolde him sayinge: Thy mother and thy brethren stonde with out and wolde se the.
21 Han svara: «Mor mi og brørne mine, det er dei som høyrer Guds ord og gjer etter det.»
He answered and sayd vnto them: my mother and my brethren are these which heare the worde of God and do it.
22 Ein dag bar det so til at han steig ut i ein båt. Læresveinarne var med, og han sagde til deim: «Lat oss fara yver til hi sida av vatnet!» So lagde dei utpå,
And it chaunsed on a certayne daye that he went into a shippe and his disciples also and he sayde vnto them: Let vs goo over vnto the other syde of the lake. And they Lanched forthe.
23 og med dei siglde, sovna han. Og det for ein kvervelvind ned på vatnet, so båten gjekk full, og dei var i fåre.
And as they sayled he fell a slepe and there arose a storme of wynde in ye lake and they were fylled with water and were in ieopardy.
24 Då gjekk dei burt til honom og vekte honom og sagde: «Meister, meister, me gjeng under!» Jesus reis upp og aga vinden og bårorne, so dei lagde seg, og det vart blikende stilt.
And they went to him and awoke him sayinge: Master Master we are loost. Then he arose and rebuked the wynde and the tempest of water and they ceased and it wexed calme.
25 So sagde han til deim: «Kvar er trui dykkar?» Men dei var fulle av otte og undring, og sagde seg imillom: «Kven tru han er, denne mannen som jamvel vindarne og vatnet lyder når han talar til deim?»
And he sayd vnto the: where is youre faith? They feared and wondred sayinge one to another: what felowe is this? for he comaundeth bothe the wyndes and water and they obey him?
26 So sigla dei fram til Gerasenar-bygdi, som ligg midt imot Galilæa.
And they sayled vnto the region of ye Gaderenites which is over agaynst Galile.
27 Då han steig i land, kom ein mann frå byen imot honom. Mannen var forgjord; det var vonde ånder i honom. Han hadde ikkje på lenge havt klæde på seg, og bia ikkje i hus, men heldt seg i gravholorne.
And as he went out to londe ther met him a certayne man out of ye cite which had a devyll longe tyme and ware noo clothes nether aboode in eny housse: but amonge graves.
28 Då han såg Jesus, sette han i og hua; so kasta han seg ned for føterne hans og sagde med høg røyst: «Kva vil du meg, Jesus, son åt den høgste Gud? Eg bed deg at du ikkje vil pina meg!»
When he sawe Iesus he cryed and fell doune before him and with a loude voyce sayde: What have I to do with the Iesus the sonne of the God moost hyest? I beseche the torment me not.
29 For Jesus sagde til den ureine åndi at ho skulde fara ut or mannen; for ho hadde gripe honom mange vendor - då batt dei honom med lekkjor og fotjarn, og heldt vakt yver honom; men han reiv sund bandi, og den vonde åndi dreiv honom ut i øydemarkerne -.
Then he comaunded ye foule sprete to come out of the man. For ofte tymes he caught him and he was bounde with chaynes and kept with fetters: and he brake the bondes and was caryed of the fende into wyldernes.
30 «Kva er namnet ditt?» spurde Jesus. «Legion, » svara han; for det hadde fare mange ånder i honom,
And Iesus axed him sayinge: what is thy name? And he sayde: Legion because many devyls were entred into him.
And they besought him yt he wolde not comaunde the to goo out into ye depe. (Abyssos g12)
32 No var det der ein stor flokk med svin som gjekk og beitte i fjellet; so bad ånderne at han vilde gjeva deim lov til å fara inn i svini, og det gav han deim lov til.
And ther was there by an heerde of many swyne fedynge on an hyll: and they besought him yt he wolde soffre the to enter into the. And he soffred the.
33 Då for dei ut or mannen, og for i svini; og heile flokken sette utyver stupet ned i vatnet og druknast.
Then went the devyls out of the man and entred into the swyne: And the heerd toke their course and ran heedlynge into the lake and were choked.
34 Då gjætarane såg kva som hende, rømde dei, og sagde frå um det i byen og på gardarne.
When the herdmen sawe what had chaunsed they fleed and tolde it in the cite and in the villages.
35 Då gjekk folk ut og vilde sjå kva som hendt var. Då dei so kom til Jesus, fekk dei sjå at mannen som dei vonde ånderne hadde fare ut or, sat klædd nedmed føterne hans, og var med sitt fulle vit. Då vart dei forfærde;
And they came out to se what was done: and came to Iesus and founde ye man out of who the devyls were departed sittynge at the fete of Iesus clothed and in his right mynde and they were afrayde.
36 og då dei som hadde set det, fortalde korleis den forgjorde hadde vorte berga,
They also wich sawe it tolde the by what meanes he yt was possessed of ye devyll was healed.
37 kom heile ålmugen frå bygderne der ikring, Gerasenar-bygderne, og bad at han vilde fara burt ifrå deim; for dei var so tekne av otte. So gjekk han i båten og for attende.
And all the whole multitude of ye cotrye of the Gaderenites besought him yt he wolde departe from the: for they were taken wt greate feare. And he gate him into the shippe and returned backe agayne.
38 Mannen som ånderne hadde fare ut or, bad um han måtte vera hjå honom; men Jesus sende honom frå seg og sagde:
Then the man out of whom the devyls were departed besought him yt he myght be wt him: But Iesus sent him awaye sayinge:
39 «Gakk heim att, og fortel kor mykje Gud hev gjort for deg.» So gjekk mannen og tala kring i heile byen um alt det Jesus hadde gjort for honom.
Goo home agayne into thyne awne housse and shewe what great thinges God hath done to ye. And he went his waye and preached thorow out all the cite what great thinges Iesus had done vnto him.
40 Då Jesus kom att, bad folket honom vera velkomen; for alle venta på honom.
And it fortuned when Iesus was come agayne that ye people receaved him. For they all wayted for him.
41 Best det var, kom det ein mann som heitte Jairus, og var forstandar for synagoga; han kasta seg ned for Jesu føter og bad honom koma heim til seg;
And beholde ther came a man named Iairus (and he was a ruler of ye synagoge) and he fell doune at Iesus fete and besought him yt he wolde come into his housse
42 for han hadde ei dotter som var um lag tolv år; ho var einaste barnet hans, og no låg ho og drogst med dauden. Som no Jesus gjekk i veg, trengde folket seg um honom på alle kanter.
for he had but a doughter only apon a twelve yere of age and she laye a dyinge. And as he went the people thronged him.
43 Millom deim var det ei kvinna som hadde havt blodflod i tolv år; ho hadde øydt heile midelen sin på lækjarar, men ingen hadde vore god til å gjera henne frisk;
And a woman havynge an issue of bloud twelve yeres (which had spent all her substance amonge phisicios nether coulde be holpen of eny)
44 ho gjekk innåt honom attantil og tok i ein av duskarne på kjolen hans, og med ein gong stana blodflodi.
came behinde him and touched the hem of his garmet and immediatly her issue of bloud staunched.
45 «Kven var det som tok i meg?» spurde Jesus. Alle neitta, og Peter og felagarne hans sagde: «Meister, det er folket som trykkjer og trengjer deg!»
And Iesus sayde: Who is it that touched me? when every man denyed Peter and they yt were with him sayde: Master the people thrust the and vexe the: and sayest thou who touched me?
46 «Det var ein som tok i meg, » sagde Jesus; «for eg kjende at det for ei kraft ut ifrå meg.»
And Iesus sayd: Some body touched me. For I perceave that vertue is gone out of me.
47 Då kvinna såg at det ikkje var dult det ho hadde gjort, kom ho skjelvande og kasta seg ned for honom og fortalde, so heile folket høyrde det, kvifor ho hadde teke i honom, og korleis ho hadde vorte god att med ein einaste gong.
When the woman sawe that she was not hid she came trimblynge and fell at is fete and tolde him before all the people for what cause she had touched him and how she was healed immediatly.
48 Då sagde han til henne: «Trui di hev hjelpt deg, dotter mi. Gakk heim, og liv sæl!»
And he sayde vnto hyr: Doughter be of good comforte Thy faith hath made the hoale goo in peace.
49 Fyrr han hadde tala ut, kjem det ein frå heimen åt synagoge-forstandaren og segjer: «Dotter di hev slokna. Umaka ikkje meisteren lenger!»
Whyll he yet spake there came one from ye rulers of the synagogis housse which sayde to him: thy doughter is deed disease not the master.
50 Då Jesus høyrde det, tok han til ords og sagde til honom: «Ottast ikkje! Berre tru, so skal ho verta berga!»
When Iesus hearde that He answered the father sayinge: Feare not beleve only and she shalbe made whole.
51 Då han so kom til huset, let han ingen få ganga inn med seg utan Peter og Johannes og Jakob og far og mor åt barnet.
And when he came to ye housse he suffred no man to goo in with him save Peter Iames and Iohn and the father and the mother of the mayden.
52 Alle gret og jamra yver henne; men han sagde: «Gråt ikkje! Ho hev ikkje slokna; ho søv.»
Every body weept and sorowed for her. And he sayde: Wepe not: for she is not deed but slepeth.
53 Men dei berre log åt honom; for dei visste at ho var slokna.
And they lewgh him to scorne. For they knew that she was deed.
54 So tok han henne i handi og ropa: «Ris upp, barn!»
And he thrust the all out and caught her by the honde and cryed sayinge: Mayde aryse.
55 Då kom åndi hennar att, og ho reis upp med ein gong; og han sagde med deim at dei skulde gjeva henne mat.
And hyr sprete came agayne and she roose strayght waye. And he commaunded to geve her meate.
56 Foreldri hennar var reint frå seg av gleda. Men han forbaud deim å tala til nokon um det som var hendt.
And the father and the mother of hyr were astonyed. But he warned the that they shuld tell noo man what was done.
