ピリピ人への手紙 3
1 第四項 偽教師に用心して完徳に進むべし 其外我兄弟等よ、汝等主に於て喜べ、繰返して同じ事を書遣るも、我は厭く事なくして而も汝等に益あり。
MOREOVER, brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not irksome, but is safe for you.
2 汝等彼犬等に用心し、惡き働人に用心し、偽の割禮に用心せよ。
Beware of dogs, beware of the malicious labourers, beware of the concision.
3 蓋霊によりて神を禮拝し、肉身を頼まずして、キリスト、イエズスに誇れる我等こそ割禮なれ。
For we are the circumcision, who serve God in spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh.
4 然れど我は肉身にも頼む事を得、他人若肉身に頼むを得とせば、我は尚更の事なり。
Though I too might have confidence in the flesh; if any other man thinks that he may have confidence in the flesh, I may claim more:
5 我は八日目に割禮を受けて、イスラエルの裔、ベンヤミンの族、ヘブレオ人よりのヘブレオ人、律法に對してはファリザイ人、
circumcised the eighth day, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews;
6 奮發に就きては神の教會を迫害せし者、律法によれる義に就きては科なく生活せし者なり。
respecting the law, a Pharisee; with regard to zeal, persecuting the church; as touching the righteousness which is by the law, blameless.
7 然るに我益となりし是等の事を、我はキリストに對して損なりと認めたり。
But what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.
8 而も我主イエズス、キリストを識るの超越せる學識に對しては、一切の事皆損なるを思ふ。我キリストの為に一切の損失を蒙りしかど、之を視る事糞土の如し。是キリストを贏け奉らん為にして、
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the transcendently excellent knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but as offals of ordure, that I may gain Christ,
9 又律法によれる我義を有せず、キリスト、イエズスに於る信仰よりの義、即ち信仰によりて神より出づる義を有しつつ、キリストに於て認められん為、
and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is by the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 キリストを識り、キリストの復活の能力を識り、キリストの死に象れる者となり、其苦に與らん為、
that I may know him, and the virtue of his resurrection, and communion with his sufferings, being conformed to his death;
11 如何にもして死者の中より復活するに至らん為なり。
if haply I may attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 斯く言へばとて我既に達する事を得、或は完全に成りたるには非ず、唯我キリスト、イエズスに捕へられたれば、如何にもして之を捕へ奉らんと追求するのみ。
Not that I have already attained, or am now perfect: but I pursue, that I may overtake that for which also by his apprehension of me I am destined by Christ Jesus.
13 兄弟等よ、我捕へたりと思はず、努むる所は唯一、即ち背後の事を忘れて前面の事に向ひ、
Brethren, I count not myself to have overtaken it; but this one object I pursue, forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching out to those which are before,
14 神がイエズス、キリストによりて上に召し給へる所の褒美を得んとて、目的を追求するのみ。
I press towards the mark for the prize of the divine calling from on high in Christ Jesus.
15 然て完全と成る[に進む]我等は、志す事皆斯の如くなるべし。汝等若何等かの異議あらば、神は之をも汝等に示し給はん。
Let as many of us therefore as are perfect, be thus minded: and if ye entertain any other sentiment, God also will unveil this unto you.
16 但既に至れる所よりして、我等は進むべきなり。
Nevertheless, so far as we have advanced, be it our care to walk by the same rule, to mind the same thing.
17 兄弟等よ、我を學べ、又汝等が我等を型とせる如くに歩める人々に注目せよ。
Be ye imitators, brethren, of me, and eye attentively those who walk so as ye have us for an example.
18 蓋我屡汝等に言へる如く、今尚泣きつつ言ふ、キリストの十字架の敵として歩む人多く、
For many walk, whom I have often mentioned to you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 其終は亡なり、彼等は腹を其神と為し、耻づべき事を誇と為し、世の事をのみ味ふ。
whose end is perdition, whose God is their belly, and their glory in their shame, whose minds are occupied with earthly things.
20 然れども我等の國籍は天に在りて、我等は我主イエズス、キリストの救主として天より來り給ふを待つなり。
But our conversation is in heaven as its citizens, from whence also we are expecting the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 彼は能く萬物を己に服せしむるを得給ふ能力を以て、我等が卑しき體を變ぜしめ、己が榮光の體に象らしめ給ふべし。
who shall transform our body of humiliation, that it may be conformed to his body of glory, according to the effectual working of him who is able to subdue even all things to himself.
