Salmi 79

1 Salmo di Asaf O DIO, le nazioni sono entrate nella tua eredità, Hanno contaminato il Tempio della tua santità, Hanno ridotta Gerusalemme in monti di ruine.

A psalm of Asaph O God they have come [the] nations - in inheritance your they have made unclean [the] temple of holiness your they have made Jerusalem into heaps of ruins.

2 Hanno dati i corpi morti de' tuoi servitori Agli uccelli del cielo [per] cibo; [E] la carne de' tuoi santi alle fiere della terra.

They have given [the] corpse[s] of servants your food to [the] bird[s] of the heavens [the] flesh faithful [people] your to [the] animal[s] of [the] earth.

3 Hanno sparso il sangue loro come acqua Intorno a Gerusalemme; E non [vi è stato] alcuno che [li] seppellisse.

They have poured out blood their - like water round about Jerusalem and there not [was one who] buried [them].

4 Noi siamo stati in vituperio a' nostri vicini; In ischerno, e in derisione a quelli che [stanno] d'intorno a noi.

We have become a reproach to neighbors our mockery and derision to [those] around us.

5 Infino a quando, Signore, sarai adirato? La tua gelosia arderà ella come un fuoco in perpetuo?

Until when? O Yahweh will you be angry? to perpetuity will it burn? like fire jealousy your.

6 Spandi l'ira tua sopra le genti che non ti conoscono, E sopra i regni che non invocano il tuo Nome.

Pour out anger your against the nations which not they know you and on kingdoms which on name your not they call.

7 Perciocchè essi hanno divorato Giacobbe, Ed hanno desolata la sua stanza.

For it has consumed Jacob and habitation its they have devastated.

8 Non ridurti a memoria contro a noi l'iniquità de' passati; Affrettati, venganci incontro le tue compassioni; Perciocchè noi siam grandemente miseri.

May not you remember to us iniquities former [surely] quickly may they come to meet us compassion your for we have become low exceedingly.

9 Soccorrici, o Dio della nostra salute, per amor della gloria del tuo Nome, E liberaci; e fa' il purgamento de' nostri peccati, per amor del tuo Nome

Help us - O God of salvation our on [the] matter of [the] glory of name your and deliver us and atone on sins our for [the] sake of name your.

10 Perchè direbbero le genti: Ove [è] l'Iddio loro? [Fa' che] sia conosciuta fra le genti, nel nostro cospetto, La vendetta del sangue sparso de' tuoi servitori.

Why? - will they say the nations where? [is] God their let it be known (among the nations *Qk) to eyes our [the] vengeance of [the] blood of servants your poured out.

11 Vengano davanti a te i gemiti de' prigioni; Secondo la grandezza del tuo braccio, Scampa quelli che son condannati a morte.

May it come before you [the] groaning of [the] prisoner according to [the] greatness of arm your leave over [the] sons of death.

12 E rendi a' nostri vicini in seno, a sette doppi, Il vituperio che ti hanno fatto, o Signore.

And repay to neighbors our sevenfold into bosom their reproach their which they reproached you O Lord.

13 E noi, tuo popolo, e greggia del tuo pasco, Ti celebreremo in perpetuo; [E] racconteremo la tua lode per ogni età.

And we people your - and [the] sheep of pasture your we will give thanks to you for ever to a generation and a generation we will recount praise your.
