1 Dávid zsoltára. Uram! hívlak téged: siess én hozzám; figyelmezz szavamra, mikor hívlak téged.

2 Mint jóillatú füst jusson elődbe imádságom, s kezem felemelése estvéli áldozat legyen.

3 Tégy Uram závárt az én szájamra; őriztessed az én ajkaim nyílását!
Lord, sette thou a keping to my mouth; and a dore of stonding aboute to my lippis.
4 Ne engedd szívemet rosszra hajlani, hogy istentelenül ne cselekedjem a gonosztevő emberekkel egybe; és ne egyem azoknak kedvelt ételéből!
Bowe thou not myn herte in to wordis of malice; to excuse excusingis in synne. With men worchinge wickidnesse; and Y schal not comyne with the chosun men of hem.
5 Ha igaz fedd engem: jól van az; ha dorgál engem: mintha fejem kenné. Nem vonakodik fejem, sőt még imádkozom is értök nyavalyájokban.

9 Őrizz meg a tőrtől, a mit elém hánytak, és a gonosztevőknek hálóitól!
Kepe thou me fro the snare which thei ordeyneden to me; and fro the sclaundris of hem that worchen wickidnesse. Synneris schulen falle in the nett therof;
10 Essenek az álnokok saját tőreikbe; míg én egyben általmegyek!
