1 Wallfahrtslieder. Von David. Ich freute mich, als man zu mir sprach: “Laßt uns zum Tempel Jahwes gehn!”

2 Unsere Füße stehen in deinen Thoren, Jerusalem!

3 Jerusalem, du wiedergebaute, wie eine Stadt, die allzumal zusammengefügt ist,
Jerusalem which was built like a city that was joined together to itself together.

8 Um meiner Brüder und Freunde willen laßt mich sprechen: Friede sei in dir!

9 Um des Tempels Jahwes, unseres Gottes, willen will ich dein Bestes suchen.
For [the] sake of [the] house of Yahweh God our I will seek good of you.
