2 Chronik 31
1 Als nun alles dies beendigt war, zogen sämtliche dabei anwesende Israeliten hinaus in die Städte Judas, zertrümmerten die Malsteine, hieben die Ascheren um und zerstörten die Opferhöhen und die Altäre in ganz Juda, Benjamin, Ephraim und Manasse, bis sie gänzlich damit aufgeräumt hatten. Alsdann kehrten sämtliche Israeliten, ein jeder in seinen Erbbesitz, in ihre Städte zurück.
And just as finished all this they went out all Israel who were found to [the] cities of Judah and they broke the sacred pillars and they cut down the Asherah poles and they pulled down the high places and the altars from all Judah and Benjamin and in Ephraim and Manasseh until finished and they returned all [the] people of Israel each to possession his to cities their.
2 Hiskia aber bestellte die Abteilungen der Priester und Leviten nach ihren Abteilungen, einen jeden nach Maßgabe des ihm obliegenden priesterlichen oder levitischen Dienstes beim Brandopfer und bei den Heilsopfern, damit sie in den Thoren des Lagers Jahwes Dienst thäten und Danksagung und Lobpreis anstimmten.
And he appointed Hezekiah [the] divisions of the priests and the Levites on divisions their each - according to [the] mouth of service his to the priests and to the Levites for burnt offering and for peace offerings to serve and to give thanks and to praise in [the] gates of [the] camps of Yahweh.
3 Und der Beitrag des Königs von seiner Habe diente zur Beschaffung der Brandopfer, der Morgen- und Abendbrandopfer, sowie der Brandopfer an den Sabbaten, den Neumonden und den Festen, gemäß den Vorschriften im Gesetze Jahwes.
And [the] portion of the king from own property his [was] for the burnt offerings for [the] burnt offerings of the morning and the evening and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the appointed feasts according to [what] is written in [the] law of Yahweh.
4 Und er gebot dem Volke, den Bewohnern Jerusalems, den Priestern und Leviten den ihnen gebührenden Anteil zu liefern, damit sie am Gesetze Jahwes festhalten könnten.
And he said to the people to [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem to give [the] portion of the priests and the Levites so that they may be strong in [the] law of Yahweh.
5 Als sich dieser Befehl verbreitete, lieferten die Israeliten Erstlinge vom Getreide, Most, Öl, Honig und allem Ertrage des Ackers in Menge und brachten den Zehnten von allem in Masse.
And just as spread the word they multiplied [the] people of Israel [the] first of grain new wine and fresh oil and honey and every produce of [the] field and [the] tithe of everything to abundance they brought.
6 Die Israeliten und Judäer aber, die in den Städten Judas wohnten, brachten gleichfalls den Zehnten von Rindern und Schafen und den Zehnten von den Weihegaben, die Jahwe, ihrem Gotte, geweiht wurden, und legten ihn in lauter einzelnen Haufen hin.
And [the] people of Israel and Judah who dwelt in [the] cities of Judah also they a tithe of herd[s] and flock[s] and a tithe of holy things which were consecrated to Yahweh God their they brought and they made heaps heaps.
7 Im dritten Monat begannen sie mit dem Aufschütten der Haufen und im siebenten Monate waren sie damit zu Ende.
In the month third they began the heaps to found and in the month seventh they finished.
8 Da kamen Hiskia und die Obersten herbei, besichtigten die Haufen und priesen Jahwe und sein Volk Israel.
And they came Hezekiah and the officials and they saw the heaps and they blessed Yahweh and people his Israel.
9 Als nun Hiskia die Priester und Leviten in betreff der Haufen befragte,
And he enquired Hezekiah to the priests and the Levites on the heaps.
10 antwortete ihm Asarja, der Hohepriester vom Hause Zadoks, und sprach: Seit man angefangen hat, die Hebe zum Tempel Jahwes zu bringen, haben wir uns satt gegessen und noch viel übrig behalten; denn Jahwe hat sein Volk gesegnet, so daß wir diese Masse übrig behielten.
And he said to him Azariah the priest the head of [the] house of Zadok and he said from when began the contribution to bring [the] house of Yahweh we have eaten and we have been satisfied and we have had more than enough to to abundance for Yahweh he has blessed people his and [what] remains the abundance this.
11 Da gebot Hiskia, im Tempel Jahwes Zellen herzurichten. Und als man sie hergerichtet hatte,
And he said Hezekiah to prepare rooms in [the] house of Yahweh and they prepared [them].
12 brachte man die Hebe und den Zehnten und die Weihegaben gewissenhaft hinein. Und der Levit Chananja war Aufseher darüber, und sein Bruder Simei als zweiter im Rang;
And they brought the contribution and the tithe and the holy things in faithfulness and [was] over them an officer (Konaniah *Qk) the Levite and Shimei brother his [was] second in command.
13 Jehiel aber, Asasja, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Josabad, Eliel, Jismachja, Mahath und Benaja waren Chananja und seinem Bruder Simei als Gehilfen beigegeben, nach der Anordnung des Königs Hiskia und Asarjas, des Fürsten im Tempel Gottes.
And Jehiel and Azaziah and Nahath and Asahel and Jerimoth and Jozabad and Eliel and Ismachiah and Mahath and Benaiah [were] overseers from [the] hand of (Konaniah *Qk) and Shimei brother his by [the] appointment of Hezekiah the king and Azariah [the] ruler of [the] house of God.
14 Und der Levit Kore, der Sohn Jimnas, der Thorhüter nach Osten zu, beaufsichtigte die Gaben, welche Gotte freiwillig gespendet wurden, damit die Jahwe zufallende Hebe und die hochheiligen Gaben abgeliefert würden.
And Kore [the] son of Imnah the Levite the gatekeeper to the east [was] over [the] freewill offerings of God to distribute [the] contribution of Yahweh and [the] holy things of the holy things.
15 Unter seiner Aufsicht aber standen Eden, Minjamin, Jesua, Semaja, Amarja und Sechanja, damit sie in den Priesterstädten ihren Amtsgenossen abteilungsweise, den Alten wie den Jungen, gewissenhaft ihren Anteil gäben,
And [were] on hand his Eden and Miniamin and Jeshua and Shemaiah Amariah and Shecaniah in [the] cities of the priests in faithfulness to distribute to brothers their by divisions as the great as the small.
16 abgesehen von den Mannspersonen unter ihnen, die in die Geschlechtsregister eingetragen waren, von den Dreijährigen an und darüber, von allen, die zum Tempel Jahwes kamen, wie es ein jeder Tag erforderte, um je nach ihren Obliegenheiten abteilungsweise ihren Dienst zu thun.
Besides recording genealogy they to males from a son of three years and upwards to every [one who] went to [the] house of Yahweh for [the] matter of a day in day its for service their by duties their according to divisions their.
17 Und was die Eintragung der Priester in die Geschlechtsregister betrifft, so erfolgte sie familienweise und die der Leviten von den Zwanzigjährigen an und darüber nach ihren Obliegenheiten, ihren Abteilungen.
And [the] genealogical enrolment of the priests to [the] house of ancestors their and the Levites from a son of twenty year[s] and upwards by duties their by divisions their.
18 Und zwar mußten sie samt ihren kleinen Kindern, ihren Frauen, Söhnen und Töchtern, denen des ganzen Standes, eingetragen werden; denn mit Gewissenhaftigkeit ihrerseits pflegten sie sich gründlich zu heiligen.
And to genealogical enrolment with all little one[s] their wives their and sons their and daughters their to all [the] assembly for in faithfulness their they had consecrated themselves holiness.
19 Dazu hatten die Nachkommen Aarons, die Priester, auf den Feldern der zu ihren Städten gehörenden Trift, in jeder einzelnen Stadt, Leute, die namentlich bezeichnet waren, damit sie allen Mannspersonen unter den Priestern und allen ins Geschlechtsregister eingetragenen Leviten ihre Anteile gäben.
And to [the] descendants of Aaron the priests in [the] fields of [the] pasture land of cities their [were] in every city and a city men who they had been designated by names to distribute portions to every male among the priests and to all [the] genealogical enrolment among the Levites.
20 So verfuhr Hiskia in ganz Juda und that, was vor Jahwe, seinem Gotte, gut und recht und gewissenhaft war.
And he did like this Hezekiah in all Judah and he did the good and the right and faithfulness before Yahweh God his.
21 Und bei allem Thun, das er anhob, in betreff des Dienstes am Tempel Gottes und in betreff des Gesetzes und des Gebots, um mit alledem seinen Gott zu suchen, handelte er von ganzem Herzen und hatte Gelingen.
And in every work which he began - in [the] service of [the] house of God and in the law and in the commandment to seek God his with all heart his he did [it] and he succeeded.
