1 Corinthians 3
1 And I coulde not speake vnto you brethre as vnto spretuall: but as vnto carnall even as it were vnto babes in Christ.
Na mimi, kaka na dada zangu, sikusema nanyi kama watu kiroho, lakini kama na watu wa kimwili. Kama na watoto wadogo katika Kristo.
2 I gave you mylke to drinke and not meate. For ye then were not stronge no nether yet are.
Niliwanywesha maziwa na si nyama, kwa kuwa hamkuwa tayari kwa kula nyama. Na hata sasa hamjawa tayari.
3 For ye are yet carnall. As longe verely as ther is amoge you envyige stryfe and dissencio: are ye not carnall and walke after ye manner of me?
Kwa kuwa ninyi bado ni wa mwilini. Kwa kuwa wivu na majivuno yanaonekana miongoni mwenu. Je, hamuishi kulingana na mwili, na je, hamtembei kama kawaida ya kibinadamu?
4 As loge as one sayth I holde of Paul and another I am of Apollo are ye not carnall?
Kwa kuwa mmoja husema, “Namfuata Paulo” Mwingine husema “Namfuata Apolo,” hamuishi kama wanadamu?
5 What is Paul? What thinge is Apollo? Only miministers are they by who ye beleved even as the Lorde gave every ma grace.
Apolo ni nani? na Paulo ni nani? Watumishi wa yule mliyemwamini, kwa kila ambaye Bwana alimpa jukumu.
6 I have planted: Apollo watred: but god gave increace.
Mimi nilipanda, Apolo akatia maji, lakini Mungu akakuza.
7 So then nether is he that planteth eny thinge nether he yt watreth: but god which gave the increace.
Kwa hiyo, si aliye panda wala aliyetia maji ana chochote. Lakini ni Mungu anayekuza.
8 He that planteth and he that watreth are nether better then the other. Every man yet shall receave his rewarde accordynge to his laboure.
Sasa apandaye na atiaye maji wote ni sawa, na kila mmoja atapokea ujira wake kulingana na kazi yake.
9 We are goddis labourers ye are goddis husbandrye ye are goddis byldynge.
Kwa kuwa sisi tu watendakazi wa Mungu, ninyi ni bustani ya Mungu, jengo la Mungu.
10 Accordynge to the grace of god geven vnto me as a wyse bylder have I layde the foundacio And another bylt thero But let every ma take hede how he bildeth apo.
Kutokana na neema ya Mungu niliyopewa kama mjenzi mkuu, niliuweka msingi, na mwingine anajenga juu yake. Lakini mtu awe makini jinsi ajengavyo juu yake.
11 For other foundacion can no man laye then yt which is layde which is Iesus Christ.
Kwa kuwa hakuna mwingine awezaye kujenga msingi mwingine zaidi ya uliojengwa, ambao ni Yesu Kristo.
12 Yf eny man bilde on this foundacion golde silver precious stones tymber haye or stoble:
Sasa, kama mmoja wenu ajenga juu yake kwa dhahabu, fedha, mawe ya thamani, miti, nyasi, au majani,
13 every mannes worke shall appere. For the daye shall declare it and it shalbe shewed in fyre. And ye fyre shall trye euery mannes worke what it is.
kazi yake itafunuliwa, kwa mwanga wa mchana utaidhihirisha. Kwa kuwa itadhihirishwa na moto. Moto utajaribu ubora wa kazi wa kila mmoja alichofanya.
14 Yf eny mannes worke yt he hath bylt apon byde he shall receave a rewarde.
Kama chochote mtu alichojenga kitabaki, yeye atapokea zawadi.
15 If eny manes worke burne he shall suffre losse: but he shalbe safe him selfe: neverthelesse yet as it were thorow fyre.
Lakini kama kazi ya mtu ikiteketea kwa moto, atapata hasara. Lakini yeye mwenyewe ataokolewa, kama vile kuepuka katika moto.
16 Are ye not ware that ye are the temple of god and how that the sprete of god dwelleth in you?
Hamjui kuwa ninyi ni hekalu la Mungu na kwamba Roho wa Mungu anakaa ndani yenu?
17 Yf eny man defyle the temple of god him shall god destroye. For the temple of god is holy which temple ye are.
Kama mtu akiliharibu hekalu la Mungu, Mungu atamharibu mtu yule. Kwa kuwa hekalu la Mungu ni takatifu, na hivyo na ninyi.
18 Let no man deceave him silfe. Yf eny man seme wyse amonge you let him be a fole in this worlde that he maye be wyse. (aiōn g165)
Mtu asijidanganye mwenyewe, kama yeyote miongoni mwenu anadhani ana hekima katika nyakati hizi, awe kama “mjinga” ndipo atakuwa na hekima. (aiōn g165)
19 For ye wisdome of this worlde is folysshnes with god. For it is writte: he compaseth the wyse in their craftynes.
Kwa kuwa hekima ya dunia hii ni ujinga mbele za Mungu, Kwa kuwa imeandikwa, “Huwanasa wenye hekima kwa hila zao”
20 And agayne God knoweth the thoughtes of the wyse that they be vayne.
Na tena “Bwana anajua mawazo ya wenye busara ni ubatili.”
21 Therfore let no ma reioyce in men. For all thinges are youres
Hivyo mtu asijivunie wanadamu! Kwa kuwa vitu vyote ni vyenu.
22 whether it be Paul other Apollo other Cephas: whether it be ye worlde other lyfe other deeth whether they be present thinges or thinges to come: all are youres
Kama ni Paulo, au Apolo, au Kefa, au dunia, au maisha, au kifo, au vitu vilivyopo, au vitakavyokuwepo. Vyote ni vyenu,
23 and ye are Christes and Christ is goddis.
na ninyi ni wa Kristo na Kristo ni wa Mungu.
