< Romans 7 >

1 Or are you ignorant, brothers — to those knowing for law I speak — that the law rules over the man for as long as [the] time he is alive?
Hamuzivi here, hama (nokuti ndinotaura kuna avo vanoziva murairo), kuti murairo unotonga munhu nguva yese yaanenge ari mupenyu?
2 The for married woman to the living husband has been bound by law; if however shall die the husband, she has been cleared from the law of the husband.
Nokuti mukadzi akawanikwa wakasungwa nemurairo kumurume anorarama; asi kana murume afa, wasunungurwa pamurairo wemurume.
3 Then therefore while is living the husband an adulteress she will be called if she shall become [married] to man another; if however shall die the husband, free she is from the law which not to be her an adulteress having become [married] to man another.
Naizvozvo zvino kana murume ari mupenyu, achanzi chifeve kana akava weumwe murume; asi kana murume afa, wasununguka pamurairo, kuti asava chifeve, kana akava wemumwe murume.
4 Likewise, brothers of mine, also you yourselves were put to death to the law through the body of Christ for to belong you to another, to the [One] out from [the] dead having been raised, so that we may bear fruit to God.
Naizvozvo, hama dzangu, nemwi makaitwa vakafa kumurairo nemuviri waKristu, kuti muve veumwe, kuna iye wakamutswa kubva kuvakafa, kuti tiberekere Mwari zvibereko.
5 While for we were in the flesh, the passions of sins that [were] through the law were at work in the members of us to the bringing forth of fruit to death;
Nokuti pataiva munyama, kuchiva kwezvivi zvaiva kubidikidza nemurairo kwakabata mumitezo yedu kubereka zvibereko zvinoisa kurufu.
6 Now however we have been released from the law having died to that which we were bound, in order for to serve us in newness of [the] Spirit and not in oldness of [the] letter.
Asi zvino takasunungurwa pamurairo, takafa kune zvatakange takabatwa nazvo, kuti tishumire muutsva hwemweya, kwete neutsaru hwerugwaro.
7 What then will we say? [Is] the law sin? Never would it be! But sin not I have known only except through law; then for covetousness not I had known, only except the law was saying; Not you will covet;
Ko zvino tichatii? Murairo chivi here? Ngazvisadaro! Asi handisaiziva chivi, kunze kwekubudikidza nemurairo; nokuti handisaizivawo ruchiva, kana murairo wakange usina kureva kuti: Usachiva.
8 An occasion however having taken sin through the commandment it produced in me myself all covetousness; apart from for [the] Law sin [is] dead;
Asi chivi, chawana mukana nemurairo, chikaita mandiri ruchiva rwese; nokuti kunze kwemurairo chivi chakafa.
9 I myself however was alive apart from law once; when was coming however the commandment the sin revived, I myself then died,
Ini ndakambova mupenyu kunze kwemurairo, asi murairo pawakasvika, chivi chakava chipenyuzve, neni ndikafa;
10 And proved to be me the commandment that [was] to life this to death;
uye murairo waiva weupenyu, iwo wakawanikwa neni wava werufu;
11 The for sin an occasion having taken through the commandment deceived me and through it put [me] to death;
nokuti chivi, chawana mukana nemurairo, chakandinyengera chikandiuraya nawo.
12 So indeed the law [is] holy and the commandment [is] holy and righteous and good.
Naizvozvo mutemo mutsvene, nemurairo mutsvene, uye wakarurama, uye wakanaka.
13 That which then [is] good to me myself (became *N+kO) death? Never would it be! But sin, in order that it may be shown as sin, through that which [is] good to me is working out death, so that may become beyond excess sinful sin through the commandment.
Naizvozvo zvakanaka zvakava rufu mandiri here? Ngazvisadaro! Asi chivi, kuti chiratidzwe kuti chivi, chinobata rufu mandiri nezvakanaka; kuti chivi nemurairo chive chakaipa kwazvo-kwazvo.
14 We know for that the Law spiritual is, I myself however (fleshly *N+kO) am sold under sin.
Nokuti tinoziva kuti murairo ndewemweya; asi ini ndiri wenyama, ndakatengeswa pasi pechivi.
15 What for I do not I understand; not for what I want this I do, but what I hate this I do.
Nokuti icho chandinoita, handichizivi; nokuti chandinoda, ndicho chandisingaiti; asi chandinovenga, ndicho chandinoita.
16 If now that which not I do want this I do, I consent to the law that [it is] good;
Zvino kana ndichiita icho chandisingadi, ndinobvumirana nemurairo kuti wakanaka.
17 In that case now no longer no longer I myself am doing it but that which (is dwelling *NK+o) in me myself sin.
Asi ikozvinowo handisisiri ini ndinochiita, asi chivi chinogara mandiri.
18 I know for that nothing dwells in me myself, That is in the flesh of mine, good; for to wish [to do] is present with me, but to do the good not (find. *K)
Nokuti ndinoziva kuti mandiri, ndiko kuti munyama yangu, hamugari chakanaka; nokuti kuda kurimo mandiri, asi kuita chakanaka handikuwani.
19 Not for that I desire I do good, but that not I do want evil this I practice.
Nokuti chakanaka chandinoda, handiiti; asi chakaipa chandisingadi, ndicho chandinoita.
20 If now what not I do want (I myself *NK) this do, no longer no longer I myself who do it but that which is dwelling in me myself sin.
Zvino kana ndichiita icho chandisingadi ini, handisisiri ini ndinochiita, asi chivi chinogara mandiri.
21 I find so the principle that which is desiring me myself to do good that me myself evil is present with.
Naizvozvo ndinowana murairo wekuti kana ndichida kuita chakanaka, chakaipa chiripo pandiri.
22 I delight for in the law of God according to the inward man,
Nokuti ndinofara mumurairo waMwari zvinoenderana nemunhu wemukati;
23 I see however another law in the members of mine warring against the law of the mind of mine and making captive me (to *no) the law of sin which is being in the members of mine.
asi ndinoona umwe murairo mumitezo yangu unorwa nemurairo wemurangariro wangu, uye uchanditapira kumurairo wechivi uri mumitezo yangu.
24 O wretched I myself [am] man! Who me will deliver out of the body of death this?
Ini munhu anosuruvara! Ndiani achandisunungura pamuviri werufu urwu?
25 (Thanks [be] *N+KO) (then *no) to God through Jesus Christ the Lord of us! Then so myself I myself with the indeed mind serve law of God but [with] the flesh [the] law of sin.
Ndinotenda Mwari kubudikidza naJesu Kristu Ishe wedu. Naizvozvo zvino nemurangariro ini ndomene ndinoshumira murairo waMwari, asi nenyama murairo wechivi.
