Hebrews 11
1 Is now faith of [things] hoped for [the] assurance, of things [the] conviction not being seen.
Віра ж єсть підстава того, на що вповаємо, доказ (певність) річей невидимих.
2 In this for were commended the ancients.
Через неї бо були сьвідчені старі.
3 By faith we understand to have been formed the ages by declaration of God so that which not out of [things] being visible (the [thing] being seen *N+kO) becoming. (aiōn g165)
Вірою розуміємо, що віки стали ся словом Божим, щоб з невидимого видиме постало. (aiōn g165)
4 By faith a more excellent sacrifice Abel than Cain offered to God, through which he was testified to be righteous bearing witness to the gifts of him (God; *NK+o) and through it having died still (he speaks. *N+kO)
Вірою приніс Авель луччу жертву Богу нїж Каїн, через котру сьвідчено (йому), що він праведний, як сьвідкував про дари його Бог; нею він, і вмерши, ще говорить.
5 By faith Enoch was translated not to see death and not was he found because took up him God; Before for the translation (of him *k) he has been commended to have pleased God;
Вірою Єнох перенесен, щоб не бачити смерти, і "не знайдено його, бо переніс його Бог": перед перенесеннєм бо його сьвідчено, "що угодив Богу".
6 Without now faith [it is] impossible to please [Him]; To believe for it behooves the one drawing near to God that He exists and [that] to those earnestly seeking out Him a rewarder He becomes.
Без віри ж не можна угодити, вірувати мусить бо, хто приходить до Бога, що Він єсть, і хто Його шукає тих нагороджує.
7 By faith having been divinely instructed Noah concerning the [things] not yet seen having been moved with fear he prepared an ark for [the] salvation of the household of him, through which he condemned the world and of the according to faith righteousness [that is] he became heir.
Вірою, звістку прийнявши Ной про те, чого ніколи не видано, в страсї (Божому) збудовав ковчег на спасеннє дому свого, котрим осудив сьвіт, і став ся наслїдником праведности, по вірі.
8 By faith (the [one] *o) being called Abraham obeyed to go out into a place that he was going to receive for an inheritance and went out not knowing where he is going.
Вірою, покликаний Авраам, послухав, щоб вийти на те місце, котре мав прийняти в наслїддє, і вийшов, не знаючи, куди йде.
9 By faith he sojourned in (the *k) land of the promise as [in] a foreign [country] in tents having dwelt with Isaac and Jacob the joint-heirs of the promise same;
Вірою оселивсь у землї обітуваній, яко чужій, живучи в наметах, з Ісааком і Яковом, спільними наслїдниками того ж обітування.
10 He was awaiting for the foundations having city of which [the] architect and builder [is] God.
Дожидав бо города, що має основини, котрого будівничий і творець Бог.
11 By faith also herself Sarah ([being] barren *N) power for [the] conception of seed received even beyond [the] opportune age (she brought forth *K) since faithful she considered the [One] having promised.
Вірою і сама Сарра прийняла силу на зачаттє насіння і мимо пори віку вродила, тим що вірним уважала Того, хто обітував.
12 Therefore also from one man were born, and he as good as dead, even as the stars of heaven in multitude and (as *N+kO) the sand by the shore of the sea countless.
Тим же і від одного, та ще помертвілого, народилось множество, як зорі небесні і як піску край моря безліч.
13 In faith died these all not (having received *NK+O) the promises but from afar them having seen and (having been persuaded and *K) having embraced [them] and having confessed that strangers and sojourners they are on the earth.
По вірі померли гі всі, не прийнявши обітниць, а оддалеки видівши їх, і вірували, і витали, і визнавали, що вони чуженицї і захожі на землї.
14 Those for such things saying make manifest that their country they are seeking.
Бо которі таке говорять, виявляють, що отчини шукають.
15 And if indeed that [one] (they were remembering *NK+o) from where (they came out, *N+kO) they had then would opportunity to return;
І справді, коли б ту памятали, з якої вийшли, мали б вони нагоду вернутись.
16 (now *N+kO) however to a better [one] they stretch forward to, That is to a heavenly [one]; Therefore not is ashamed of them God God to be called of them; He has prepared indeed for them a city.
Нині ж луччої бажають, се єсть небесної; тим і не соромить ся їх Бог, називати ся Богом їх: наготовив бо їм город.
17 By faith has offered up Abraham Isaac Being tested, even [his] only begotten [son] was offering up the [one] the promises having received,
Вірою привів Авраам, спокушуваний, Ісаака (на жертву); единородного приніс, прийнявши обітницю,
18 as to whom it was said that In Isaac will be reckoned your offspring;
про котрого було глаголано: "Що в Ісааку назветь ся тобі насіннє,"
19 having reasoned that even out from [the] dead to raise able [was] God, from where him also in a simile he received.
подумавши, що і з мертвих силен Бог воскресити; тим і прийняв його в образі (воскресення).
20 By faith (also *no) concerning [the things] coming blessed Isaac Jacob and Esau.
Вірою в грядуще благословив Ісаак Якова та Ісава.
21 By faith Jacob dying each of the sons of Joseph blessed and worshiped on the top of the staff of him.
Вірою Яков, умираючи, благословив кожного сина Йосифого і "склонивсь на верх жезла свого".
22 By faith Joseph dying concerning the exodus of the sons of Israel made mention and concerning the bones of him gave instructions.
Вірою Йосиф, умираючи, про виход синів Ізраїлевих згадав, а про кости свої заповів.
23 By faith Moses having been born he was hidden three months by the parents of him because they saw [was] beautiful the little child and not they did fear the edict of the king.
Вірою Мойсей, народившись, хований був три місяці від батьків своїх, коли виділи вони, що дитина гарна, і не злякались повеління царського.
24 By faith Moses grown having become he refused to be named [the] son of [the] daughter of Pharaoh,
Вірою Мойсей, бувши великим, відрік ся звати ся сином дочки Фараонової,
25 rather having chosen to suffer affliction with the people of God than [the] temporary to have of sin enjoyment;
а лучче зводив страдати з людьми Божими, нїж дізнавати дочасної розкоші гріха,
26 greater wealth having esteemed than that (in *k) (Egypt *N+kO) treasures the reproach of Christ; he was looking for toward the reward.
більшим багацтвом над Єгипецькі скарби вважаючи наругу Христову; озиравсь бо на нагороду
27 By faith he left Egypt not having feared the anger of the king; the for Invisible [One] as seeing he persevered.
Вірою покинув Єгипет, не боячись гнїва царевого; устояв бо, яко такий, що Невидомого видить.
28 By faith he has kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so that not the [one] destroying the firstborn may touch them.
Вірою зробив пасху і пролиттє крови, щоб губитель первороджених не займав їх.
29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as through dry (land, *no) which an attempt having made the Egyptians were swallowed up.
Вірою перейшли вони Червоне море, як по суходолу; що спробувавши Єгиптяне, потопились.
30 By faith the walls of Jericho (fell *N+kO) having been encircled for seven days.
Вірою стїни Єрихонські попадали, після семидневних обходин,
31 By faith Rahab the prostitute not did perish with those having disobeyed having received the spies with peace.
Вірою Раава блудниця не згинула з невірними, прийнявши підглядників з миром.
32 And what more shall I say? Will fail me for telling the time of Gideon, Barak, (both and *k) Samson, (and *k) Jephthah, David also and Samuel and the prophets;
І що мені ще казати? не стане бо мені часу оповідати про Гедеона, та Варака, та Самеона, та Єтая, та про Давида і Самуїла, та про пророків,
33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promises, shut [the] mouths of lions,
котрі вірою побивали царства, робили правду, одержували обітування, загороджували пащі левам,
34 quenched [the] power of fire, escaped [the] blades of [the] sword, (be empowered *N+kO) out of weakness, became mighty in war, [the] armies put to flight of foreigners.
гасили силу огняну, втікали від гострого меча, робились потужними від немочи, бували міцні в бою, обертали в ростїч полки чужоземців;
35 Received back women by resurrection the dead of them; others then were tortured not having accepted release, so that a better resurrection they may obtain;
жінки приймали мертвих своїх з воекресення; инші ж побиті бували, не прийнявши збавлення, щоб лучче воскресеннє одержати;
36 Others then of mockings and of scourgings trial received, in addition also of chains and imprisonment;
другі ж наруги та ран дізнали, та ще й кайдан і темниці;
37 They were stoned, they were sawed in two (tested *KO) by slaughter of [the] sword they were killed; they wandered in sheepskins, in goats’ skins, being destitute, being oppressed, being mistreated,
каміннєм побиті бували, розпилювані, допитувані, смертю від меча вмирали, тинялись в овечих та козиних шкурах, бідуючи, горюючи, мучені,
38 of whom not was worthy the world; (in *N+kO) deserts wandering and in mountains and in caves and in the holes of the earth.
(котрих не був достоєн сьвіт, ) по пустинях скитались та по горах та по вертепах і проваллях земних:
39 And these all having been commended through the faith not did receive the promise
І всї ці, одержавши сьвідченнє вірою, не прийняли обітування,
40 God for us better something having planned, so that not apart from us they may be made perfect.
тим що Бог лучче щось про нас провидів, щоб не без нас осягли звершеннє.
