1 Timothy 6

1 As many as are under a yoke [as] slaves, [their] own masters of all honor worthy they should esteem, so that not the name of God and the teaching may be denigrated.

Которі слуги під ярмом, нехай уважають панів своїх достойними всякої чести, щоб імя Бомсе не хулилось і наука.

2 Those now believing having masters not they should despise [them] because brothers they are; but rather they should serve [them], because believing [ones] they are and beloved by the good service being helped. These things do teach and do exhort.

Хто ж мав вірних панів, ті нехай не гордують ними, бо вони брати; а ще більш нехай служять, що вони вірні і любі, приймаючи благодать. Сього навчай і наказуй.

3 If anyone teaches another doctrine and not he draws near to sound words of the Lord of us Jesus Christ and the according to godliness teaching,

Коли ж хто инше вчить і не приступає до здорових словес Господа нашого Ісуса Христа і до науки побожної,

4 he has been puffed up nothing knowing but unhealthy about controversies and disputes about words, out of which come envy, strife, slander, suspicions evil,

той розгордив ся, нічого не знаючи, а нездужаючи змаганнями та суперечкою, від чого буває зависть, сварка, поговори, лукаві думки,

5 [and] constant frictions corrupted among men in mind and defrauded of the truth, holding a means of gain to be godliness (do depart from [one of] such. *K)

пусті розмови людей попсованого розуму, що втеряли правду і думають, що благочестє - надбаннє. Відступай від таких.

6 Is however gain great godliness with contentment.

Велике ж (таки) надбаннє благочестє з самодовольством.

7 No [thing] for we brought into the world, (evident *K) because neither to carry out anything are we able;

Нїчого бо не внесли ми у сьвіт, то й ясно, що нїчого не можемо винести.

8 Having however sustenance and coverings, with these we will be content.

Маючи ж їжу й одежу, сим довольні будемо.

9 Those however desiring to be rich they fall into temptation and a snare and desires many foolish and harmful, which plunge men into ruin and destruction.

Котрі ж хочуть забагатіти, впадають у напасть й тенета і в хотїння многі нерозумні і шкодливі, що топлять людей у безодню і погибель.

10 A root for of all kinds of evils is the love of money, which some stretching after were seduced away from the faith and themselves pierced with sorrows many.

Корень бо всього лихого срібролюбство; котрого инші бажаючи, заблудили од віри, і себе прибили многими муками.

11 You yourself however, O man of God, these things do flee, do pursue now righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, ([and] gentleness; *N+KO)

Ти ж, чоловіче Божий, від сього втїкай; побивай ся за правдою, благочестєм, вірою, любовю, терпіннєм, тихостю.

12 do fight the good fight of the faith, do lay hold of the eternal life to which (also *k) you were called and did confess the good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)

Борись доброю боротьбою віри, держись вічнього життя, до котрого й покликано тебе, й визнав вся добре визнаннє перед многими сьвідками. (aiōnios g166)

13 I charge you before God who (is giving life *N+kO) to all things and Christ Jesus the [One who] having testified before Pontius Pilate the good confession

Заповідаю тобі перед Богом, що оживлює все, і Христом Ісусом, що сьвідкував при Понтийському Пилатї добре визнаннє:

14 to keep you the commandment without stain, above reproach until the appearing of the Lord of us Jesus Christ,

додержати сю заповідь чистою, без докору, до явлення Господа нашого Ісуса Христа,

15 which in seasons [their] own He will display the blessed and alone Sovereign, the King of those being kings and [the] Lord of those being lords,

котре свого часу явить блаженний і єдиний сильний Цар вад царями і Пан над панами;

16 alone having immortality, in light dwelling unapproachable, whom has seen no [one] of men nor to see is able, to whom [be] honor and dominion eternal, Amen. (aiōnios g166)

один, що має безсмертє, і живе в сьвітлї неприступному, котрого не бачив нїхто з людей, анї бачити не може; Йому ж честь і держава вічна. Амінь. (aiōnios g166)

17 To the rich in the present age do instruct [them] not to be high-minded nor to have hope in of riches [the] uncertainty but (on *N+kO) God (who is living *K) who is providing us all things richly for enjoyment, (aiōn g165)

Багатим у нинішнім віцї заказуй не високомудроватя, анї вповати на богацтво непевне, а на Бога ясивого, що дає нам усе щедро на втїху; (aiōn g165)

18 to do good, to be rich in works good, generous in distributing to be, ready to share,

добре робити, багатитись ділами добрими, охочими на подаваннє бути і подїльчивими,

19 treasuring up for themselves a foundation good for the future, so that they may take hold of that which ([is] truly *N+KO) life.

скарбуючи собі добру основину в будущинї, щоб прийняти життє вічне.

20 O Timothy, the (deposit committed [to you] *N+kO) do guard avoiding the profane empty babblings and opposing arguments falsely called knowledge,

О Тимотею! хорони переказ, одвертаючись од скверного марнослова і перекорів неправдивого розуму,

21 which some professing from the faith went astray. Grace [be] with (you [all] *N+kO) (Amen. *KO) (to Timothy first it was written from Laodicea which is capital of Phrygia of Pacatiana. *K)

котрим деякі хвалячись, у вірі погрішили. Благодать з тобою. Амінь.
