< John 12 >

1 Then six days before the Passover, Yeshua came to Beth-Naiya, where Leayzar was, whom Yeshua raised from the dead.
ⲁ̅ⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ϩⲁⲑⲏ ⲛⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲏⲑⲁⲛⲓⲁ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲛⲉⲣⲉⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓⲥ ⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ
2 So they prepared a dinner for him there; and Marta served, but Leayzar was one of those reclining at the table with him.
ⲃ̅ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲣⲉ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲇⲉⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲣⲉⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⲇⲓⲁⲕⲟⲛⲓ ⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛⲏϫ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ
3 Maryam, therefore, took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Yeshua, and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
ⲅ̅ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ ϭⲉ ⲁⲥϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲗⲓⲧⲣⲁ ⲛⲥⲟϭⲛ ⲛⲛⲁⲣⲇⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲕⲏ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲥⲟⲩⲛⲧⲥ ⲁⲥⲧⲱϩⲥ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥϥⲱⲧⲉ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡϥⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲁⲡⲉ ⲁⲡⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲥⲧⲟⲓ ⲙⲡⲥⲟϭⲛ
4 Then Yehudah Sekariuta, one of his disciples, who would betray him, said,
ⲇ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲡⲓⲥⲕⲁⲣⲓⲱⲧⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲇⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
5 "Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii, and given to the poor?"
ⲉ̅ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲉⲓⲥⲟϭⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ϣⲙⲛⲧ ϣⲉ ⲛⲥⲁⲧⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲥⲉⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲛϩⲏⲕⲉ
6 Now he said this, not because he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and having the money box, used to steal what was put into it.
ⲋ̅ⲛⲧⲁϥϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲣⲟⲟⲩϣ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲛϩⲏⲕⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲟⲩⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲅⲗⲱⲥⲥⲟⲕⲟⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲉϥϩⲱϥⲧ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
7 But Yeshua said, "Leave her alone, that she may keep this for the day of my burial.
ⲍ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϭⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲱⲧⲛ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲥⲉϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲁⲕⲁⲉⲓⲥⲉ
8 For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me."
ⲏ̅ⲛϩⲏⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲙⲙⲏⲧⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲓϣ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲛϯ ⲛⲙⲙⲏⲧⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲓϣ ⲛⲓⲙ
9 A large crowd therefore of the Yehudeans learned that he was there, and they came, not for Yeshua's sake only, but that they might see Leayzar also, whom he had raised from the dead.
ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ϥⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ
10 But the chief priests plotted to kill Leayzar also,
ⲓ̅ⲁⲩϫⲓϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲙⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧ ⲙⲡⲕⲉⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ
11 because on account of him many of the Jewish people went away and believed in Yeshua.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲣⲉϩⲁϩ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲃⲏⲕ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ
12 On the next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Yeshua was coming to Urishlim,
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ ϫⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ
13 they took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet him, and were shouting, "Ushanna. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israyel."
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲩϫⲓ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲃⲁ ϩⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲃⲛⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲧⲱⲙⲛⲧ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲁϣⲕⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲱⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ ϥⲥⲙⲁⲙⲁⲁⲧ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ
14 And Yeshua, having found a young donkey, sat on it. As it is written,
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϩⲉ ⲉⲩⲉⲓⲱ ⲁϥⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ
15 "Do not be afraid, daughter of Tsehyun. Look, your King comes, sitting on a donkey's colt."
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲣ ⲣ ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲥⲓⲱⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲏⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲉϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲉϫⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲏϭ ⲛⲉⲓⲱ
16 His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Yeshua was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things to him.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϫⲓ ⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲥ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲣ ⲡⲙⲉⲩⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲣⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲥⲏϩ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϥ
17 The crowd therefore that was with him when he called Leayzar out of the tomb, and raised him from the dead, was testifying about it.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲛⲉϥⲣ ⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ϭⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲧⲁⲫⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ
18 For this cause also the crowd went and met him, because they heard that he had done this sign.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲁⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲏⲧϥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲣ ⲡⲉⲓⲙⲁⲓⲛ
19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, "See how you accomplish nothing. Look, the whole world has gone after him."
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ϭⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲉⲣⲏⲩ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛϯ ϩⲏⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲗⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ϩⲓ ⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
20 Now there were certain Greeks among those that went up to worship at the feast.
ⲕ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲟⲩⲉⲓⲉⲛⲓⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲃⲏⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡϣⲁ
21 These, therefore, came to Philipus, who was from Beth-Sayada of Galila, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we want to see Yeshua."
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ϭⲉ ⲁⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲉⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲃⲏⲇⲥⲁⲓⲇⲁ ⲛⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲧⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲓⲥ
22 Philipus came and told Andreus, and in turn, Andreus came with Philipus, and they told Yeshua.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲁⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲟⲥ ⲉⲓ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲉⲁⲛⲇⲣⲉⲁⲥ ⲁⲛⲇⲣⲉⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲉⲓⲥ
23 And Yeshua answered them, "The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲓ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉϫⲓ ⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ
24 Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.

25 He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)

26 If anyone serves me, let him follow me; and where I am, there will my servant also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

27 "Now my soul is troubled; and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour?' But for this cause I came to this hour.

28 Father, glorify your name." Then there came a voice out of the sky, saying, "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again."
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ϯ ⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ⲁⲩⲥⲙⲏ ϭⲉ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓϯ ⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲛ ϯⲛⲁϯ ⲉⲟⲟⲩ
29 The crowd therefore, who stood by and heard it, said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to him."
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩϩⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲕⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲧⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ
30 Yeshua answered, "This voice hasn't come for my sake, but for your sakes.

32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw everyone to myself."

33 But he said this, signifying by what kind of death he should die.

34 The crowd answered him, "We have heard out of the law that the Meshikha remains forever. Then how can you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up?' Who is this Son of Man?" (aiōn g165)
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁϣ ⲛϩⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲕ ⲕϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲡⲥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϫⲉⲥⲧ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ (aiōn g165)
35 Yeshua therefore said to them, "Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness does not overtake you. He who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲓϣ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲟⲩⲟⲓⲛ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛⲙⲙⲏⲧⲛ ⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲟⲥⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲏⲧⲛ ⲡⲟⲩⲟⲓⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛⲛⲉ ⲡⲕⲁⲕⲉ ⲧⲁϩⲉⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁⲕⲉ ⲛϥⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲱⲛ
36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become children of light." Yeshua said these things, and he departed and hid himself from them.
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ϩⲟⲥⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲏⲧⲛ ⲡⲟⲩⲟⲓⲛ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲡⲟⲩⲟⲓⲛ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲟⲓⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲁϥϩⲟⲡϥ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ
37 But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they did not believe in him,
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲛⲉⲓⲙⲁⲓⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲁϥⲁⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
38 that the word of Eshaya the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, "Lord, who has believed our report, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲏⲥⲁⲓⲁⲥ ⲡⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲛϩⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϭⲃⲟⲉⲓ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲁϥϭⲱⲗⲡ ⲉⲛⲓⲙ
39 For this cause they could not believe, for Eshaya said again,
ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϣ ϭⲙϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲟⲛ ⲛϭⲓ ⲏⲥⲁⲓⲁⲥ
40 He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.
ⲙ̅ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲙ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲛⲉⲩⲛⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲥⲉⲛⲟⲉⲓ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲥⲉⲕⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲧⲁⲧⲁⲗϭⲟⲟⲩ
41 Eshaya said these things because he saw his glory, and spoke of him.

42 Nevertheless even of the rulers many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue,

43 for they loved praise from people more than praise from God.
ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲙⲉⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲣⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲉ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
44 Then Yeshua shouted out and said, "Whoever believes in me, believes not in me, but in him who sent me.

47 And if anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

48 He who rejects me, and does not accept my words, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke will judge him on the last day.

49 For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

50 I know that his commandment is everlasting life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak." (aiōnios g166)
