1 Chronicles 9
1 So all Israel were recorded by their genealogies, and, behold, they are written in the book of the Kings of Israel; but [the men of] Judah were carried away into exile to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.
E todo o Israel foi contado por genealogia: eis que estão escritos no livro dos reis de Israel: e os de Judá foram transportados a Babilônia, por causa da sua transgressão.
2 And the first inhabitants that [dwelt again] in their possessions in their cities, were the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the temple-servants.
E os primeiros habitadores, que moravam na sua possessão e nas suas cidades, foram os israelitas, os sacerdotes, os levitas, e os nethineos.
3 And in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Menasseh.
Porém dos filhos de Judá, e dos filhos de Benjamin, e dos filhos de Ephraim e Manasseh, habitaram em Jerusalém:
4 'Uthai the son of 'Ammihud, the son of 'Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
Uthai, filho de Ammihud, filho de Omri, filho de Imri, filho de Bani, dos filhos de Peres, filho de Judá;
5 And of the Shilonites: 'Assayah the first-born, and his sons.
E dos silonitas: Assias o primogênito, e seus filhos;
6 And of the sons of Zerach: Je'uel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
E dos filhos de Zerah: Jeuel, e seus irmãos, seiscentos e noventa;
7 And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodavyah, the son of Hassenuah,
E dos filhos de Benjamin: Sallu, filho de Mesullam, filho de Hodavias, filho de Hassenua,
8 And Yibneyah the son of Jerocham, and Elah the son of 'Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatyah, the son of Re'uel, the son of Yibniyah;
E Ibneias, filho de Jeroham, e Ela, filho de Uzzi, filho de Michri, e Mesullam, filho de Sephatias, filho de Reuel, filho d'Ibnijas;
9 And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chiefs of the divisions of their family divisions.
E seus irmãos, segundo as suas gerações, novecentos e cincoênta e seis: todos estes homens foram cabeças dos pais nas casas de seus pais.
10 And of the priests: Jeda'yah, and Jehoyarib, and Jachin.
E dos sacerdotes: Jedaias, e Jehoiarib, e Jachin,
11 And 'Azaryah the son of Chilkiyah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Merayoth, the son of Actitub, the ruler of the house of God.
E Azarias, filho de Hilkias, filho de Mesullam, filho de Zadok, filho de Meraioth, filho de Ahitub, maioral da casa de Deus:
12 And 'Adayah the son of Jerocham, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyah, and Ma'sai the son of 'Adiel, the son of Jachzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer:
Adaias, filho de Jeroham, filho de Pashur, filho de Malchias, e Masai, filho de Adiel, filho de Jahzera, filho de Mesullam, filho de Mesillemith, filho de Immer;
13 And their brethren, chiefs of their family divisions, were one thousand and seven hundred and sixty, very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
Como também seus irmãos, cabeças nas casas de seus pais, mil, setecentos e sessenta, varões valentes para a obra do ministério da casa de Deus.
14 And of the Levites: Shema'yah the son of Chasshub, the son of 'Azrikam, the son of Chashabyah, of the sons of Merari;
E dos levitas: Semaias, filho de Hassub, filho de Azrikam, filho de Hasabias, dos filhos de Merari;
15 And Bakbakkar, Cheresh, and Galal, and Matthanyah the son of Micha, the son of Zichri, the son of Assaph;
E Bakbakkar, Heres, e Galal; e Matthanias, filho de Micha, filho de Zichri, filho de Asaph;
16 And 'Obadiah the son of Shema'yah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechyah the son of Assa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
E Obadias, filho de Semaias, filho de Galal, filho de Jeduthun; e Berechias, filho de Asa, filho de Elkana, morador das aldeias dos netophathitas.
17 And the gatekeepers were Shallum, and 'Akkub, and Talmon, and Achiman, and their brethren, Shallum being the chief;
E foram porteiros: Sallum, e Akkub, e Talmon, e Ahiman, e seus irmãos, cuja cabeça era Sallum.
18 And up to this time they are in the king's gate to the eastward: they are the gatekeepers for the camps of the children of Levi.
E até àquele tempo estavam de guarda à porta do rei para o oriente; estes foram os porteiros entre os arraiais dos filhos de Levi.
19 And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebyassaph, the son of Korach, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korchites, being over the work of the service, were the watchmen at the threshold of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the camp of the Lord, were the watchmen at the entrance [thereof].
E Sallum, filho de Kore, filho de Ebiasaph, filho de Korah, e seus irmãos da casa de seu pai, os korahitas, tinham cargo da obra do ministério, e eram guardas dos umbrais do tabernáculo: e seus pais foram capitães do arraial do Senhor, e guardadores da entrada.
20 And Phinehas the son of El'azar was the ruler over them in times past; [and] the Lord was with him.
Phineas, filho de Eleazar, de antes entre eles guia, com o qual era o Senhor,
21 [And] Zechariah the son of Meshelemyah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation.
E Zacarias, filho de Meselemias porteiro da porta da tenda da congregação.
22 All of these selected to be gatekeepers at the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were recorded according to their genealogy in their villages; [and they were] those [whom] David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their trust.
Todos estes, escolhidos para serem porteiros dos umbrais, foram duzentos e doze: e foram estes, segundo as suas aldeias, postos em suas genealogias; e David e Samuel, o vidente, os constituiram no seu cargo.
23 Both they and their children had the oversight over the gates of the house of the Lord, [namely, ] the house of the tabernacle, as watches.
Estavam pois eles, e seus filhos, às portas da casa do Senhor, na casa da tenda, junto aos guardas.
24 On four quarters were the gatekeepers, toward the east, the west, the north, and the south.
Os porteiros estavam aos quatro ventos: ao oriente, ao ocidente, ao norte, e ao sul.
25 And their brethren, who were in their villages, had to come after every seven days from time to time in common with these.
E seus irmãos estavam nas suas aldeias, e no sétimo dia, de tempo em tempo, entravam a servir com eles.
26 For in [their] trust were these four chief gatekeepers— these Levites, and they were [appointed] over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
Porque havia naquele ofício quatro porteiros-mór que eram levitas, e tinham cargo das câmaras e dos tesouros da casa de Deus.
27 And they lodged round about the house of God; because upon them rested the duty of watching, and they had the supervision of the opening thereof each and every morning.
E de noite ficavam à roda da casa de Deus, porque a guarda lhes estava encarregada, e tinham cargo de abrir, e isto cada manhã.
28 And some of them had the charge of the vessels for the service; for by number did they bring them in, and by number did they carry them out.
E alguns deles tinham cargo dos vasos do ministério, porque por conta os traziam e por conta os tiravam.
29 Some of them also were appointed over the vessels, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
Porque deles alguns havia que tinham cargo dos vasos e de todos os vasos sagrados; como também da flor de farinha, e do vinho, e do azeite, e do incenso, e da especiaria.
30 And some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixture of the spices.
E dos filhos dos sacerdotes eram os obreiros da confecção das especiarias.
31 And Matthithyah, one of the Levites, who was the first-born of Shallum the Korchite, had the trust over the meat-offerings that were baked in the pans.
E Mattithias, dentre os levitas, o primogênito de Sallum, o korahita, tinha cargo da obra que se fazia em sartãs.
32 And others of their brethren, of the sons of the Kehathites, were over the orders of the shew-bread, to prepare it every sabbath.
E dos filhos dos kohatitas, de seus irmãos houve alguns que tinham cargo dos pães da proposição, para os prepararem em todos os sábados.
33 But these the singers, the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, remained in the chambers free of service; for day and night were they obliged to engage in that work.
Destes foram também os cantores, cabeças dos pais entre os levitas nas câmaras, exemplos de serviços; porque de dia e de noite estava a seu cargo ocuparem-se naquela obra.
34 These are the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, being the chiefs for their generations: these dwelt at Jerusalem.
Estes foram cabeças dos pais entre os levitas, chefes em suas gerações: estes habitaram em Jerusalém.
35 And in Gib'on dwelt the father of Gib'on, Je'iel; and the name of his wife was Ma'achah;
Porém em Gibeon habitaram Jeiel, pai de Gibeon (e era o nome de sua mulher Maaca),
36 And his first-born son was 'Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Ba'al, and Ner, and Nadab,
E seu filho primogênito Abdon: depois Zur, e Kis, e Baal, e Ner, e Nadab,
37 And Gedor, and Achyo, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
E Gedor, e Ahio, e Zacarias, e Mikloth.
38 And Mikloth begat Shimam. And they also dwelt alongside of their brethren at Jerusalem, with their brethren.
E Mikloth gerou a Simeão: e também estes, defronte de seus irmãos, habitaram em Jerusalém com seus irmãos.
39 And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jehonathan, and Malki-shua', and Abinadab, and Eshba'al.
E Ner gerou a Kis, e Kis gerou a Saul, e Saul gerou a Jonathan, e a Malchi-sua, e a Abinadab, e a Es-baal.
40 And the son of Jehonathan was Merib-ba'al: and Merib-ba'al begat Michah.
E filho de Jonathan foi Merib-baal: e Merib-baal gerou a Micha.
41 And the sons of Michah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Thachrea'.
E os filhos de Micha foram Pithon, e Melech, e Tarea.
42 And Achaz begat Ja'rah; and Ja'rah begat 'Alemeth, 'Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
E Achaz gerou a Jaera, e Jaera gerou a Alemeth, e a Azmaveth, e a Zimri: e Zimri gerou a Mosa.
43 And Moza begat Bin'a; ! and Rephayah his son, El'assah his son, Azel his son.
E Mosa gerou a Binea, cujo filho foi Rephaias, cujo filho foi Elasa, cujo filho foi Asel.
44 And Azel had six sons, and these are their names, 'Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and She'aryah, and 'Obadiah, and Chanan: these were the sons of Azel.
E teve Asel seis filhos, e estes foram os seus nomes: Azrikam, e Boceru, e Ishmael, e Seraias, e Obadias, e Hanan: estes foram os filhos d'Asel.
