< Galatians 5 >

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Fidadàñe ty nañahà’ i Norizañey antika, aa le mijadoña, soa tsy ho fandrihe’ i jokam-pañondevozañey ka.
2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if all of you be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
Intoy, zaho Paoly o mivolañe ama’ areoo, t’ie miafa-boy, le tsy hahasoa anahareo i Norizañey.
3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
Ataliliko indraike ze hene lahilahy mamotso-boiñe, t’ie mpisongo, ro voalily hañambeñe ze he’e amy Hake ao.
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; all of you are fallen from grace.
Fa nifampiria amy Norizañey nahareo, mipay havantañañe amo fañèo, vaho fa nitraboke amy hasoay.
5 For we through the Spirit (pneuma) wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
F’ie amy Arofoy ro mandiñe am-patokisañe te ho heneke i havantañañe tamàñey.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love. (agape)
Ie am’ Iesoà Norizañey ao, le songa tsy vente’e ty fisavarañe naho ty tsi-fisavarañe, fa ty fatokisañe mifanehake am-pikokoañe.
7 All of you did run well; who did hinder you that all of you should not obey the truth?
Nisoa ty filaisa’ areo, fa ia ty nanebañe anahareo tsy hañambeñe ty hatò?
8 This persuasion comes not of him that calls you.
Tsy boak’ amy mpikanjy anahareoy o manigìke anahareo zao.
9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
Mahaatseke ty boko’e iaby ty lalivay kede.
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that all of you will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubles you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
Iantofako amy Talè, t’ie tsy hivetsevetse raha ila’e; fa i mampitsiborehetoke anahareoy ty hivave i fizakàñe azey, ndra te ia.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
Zaho ka ry longo, naho mbe mitaroñe fisavarañe, inoñe ty ampisoañañe ahy? amy t’ie ho nampikòake ty sirìka’ i hatae ajaley.
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
Ee te ho vosireñe ka o mañembetse anahareoo.
13 For, brethren, all of you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love (agape) serve one another.
Toe kinanjy ho haha nahareo ry longo, aa le ko afotetse ho filomolorañe amo nofotseo ty fidadà’ areo, fe mifañasoà an-koko.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, (logos) even in this; You shall love your neighbour as yourself.
Toe mahaeneñe i Hake ty tsara raike manao ty hoe: Kokò ondatio manahake ty vata’o.
15 But if all of you bite and devour one another, take heed that all of you be not consumed one of another.
Fa naho mifandrimitse naho mifamotseke, mitaoa, hera hifampigodrañe!
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, (pneuma) and all of you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Aa hoe raho: Mihavelo amy Arofoy, le tsy ho haoñe’ areo ty hadrao’ i nofotsey.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, (pneuma) and the Spirit (pneuma) against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that all of you cannot do the things that all of you would.
Mpandietse i Arofoy i nofotsey, naho i nofotsey i trokey; mifandietse iereo soa tsy hanoe’ areo ze satri’areo,
18 But if all of you be led of the Spirit, (pneuma) all of you are not under the law.
f’ie iaolòa’ i Arofoy, le tsy ambane’ i Hake.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Malange ty sata’ o nofotseo: ty hakarapiloañe, haleorañe, hameñarañe,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, worldy jealousies, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
fiatoañe am-pahasive, famorehañe, fifalaiñañe, filie-drokoñe, fitsikirihañe, filoa-tiñake, fifandierañe, fifampiambahañe, fifampiriàñe,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
fihàñañe, hamamoañe, fihisàn-draty vaho o manahake irezaio; inao indraike i hatahata hinatahatako anahareoy, te tsy handova i Fifehean’ Añaharey o manao irezaio.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit (pneuma) is love, (agape) joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Le ty voka’ i Arofoy: fikokoañe, firebehañe, fañanintsiñe, fahaliñisañe, havantañañe, fatarihañe, figahiñañe,
23 Meekness, wilful restrain: against such there is no law.
trentram-po, filieram-batañe. Tsy amy Hake ty mandrara irezay.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Fa naradorado’ o mpiamy Iesoà Norizañeio i haondaty hambo’ey rekets’ o fañiria’e naho hadrao’eo.
25 If we live in the Spirit, (pneuma) let us also walk in the Spirit. (pneuma)
Kanao veloñe amy Arofoy tikañe, antao hañavelo amy Arofoy ka.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Asoao tsy hirengevoke, hifanikisìky naho hifampitsikirìke.
