1 ⲁ̅ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲓⲥ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲣⲟ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲛⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲓⲃⲉⲣⲓⲁⲥ
After these things, Yeshua went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲏϩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲙⲙⲁⲓⲛ ⲉⲛⲉϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϫⲛ ⲛⲉⲧϣⲱⲛⲉ
A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he did on those who were sick.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲁϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ
Yeshua went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his disciples.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲛⲉϥϩⲏⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ ⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ
Now the Passover, the Jewish festival, was at hand.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲁϥϥⲓ ⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉⲡ ⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲧⲱⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲱⲙ
Yeshua therefore, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”
6 ⲋ̅ ⲛⲧⲁϥϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧϥⲛⲁⲁⲁϥ
He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲛ ϣⲏⲧ ⲛⲥⲁⲧⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲟⲓⲕ ⲛⲁⲣⲁϣⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩⲓ
Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”
8 ⲏ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲛⲇⲣⲉⲁⲥ ⲡⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ
One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,
9 ⲑ̅ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲩⲛ ϯⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲓⲕ ⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲃⲧ ⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲣ ⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ
“There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these amongst so many?”
10 ⲓ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲭⲟⲣⲧⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ϩⲙ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϭⲉ ⲛⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲣ ⲁϯⲟⲩ ⲛϣⲟ
Yeshua said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲛⲛⲟⲓⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϣⲡ ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛⲏϫ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩϫⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲧⲃⲧ
Yeshua took the loaves, and having given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who were sitting down, likewise also of the fish as much as they desired.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲛⲗⲁⲕⲙ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲥⲉⲉⲡⲉ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲛⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
When they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost.”
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲥⲟⲟⲩϩⲟⲩ ϭⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲙⲉϩ ⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲛⲗⲁⲕⲙ ⲉⲁⲩⲣ ϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡϯⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲓⲕ ⲛⲓⲱⲧ
So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϭⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲙⲁⲓⲛ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲁⲁϥ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲙⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ
When therefore the people saw the sign which Yeshua did, they said, “This is truly the Prophet who comes into the world.”
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲏⲩ ⲛⲥⲉⲧⲟⲣⲡϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲁⲁϥ ⲛⲣⲣⲟ ⲁϥⲥⲉϩⲧϥ ⲟⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲁϥ
Yeshua therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲣⲟⲩϩⲉ ⲇⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲁⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛ ⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ
When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲣⲟ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲉⲕⲁⲫⲁⲣⲛⲁⲟⲩⲙ ⲛⲉⲁⲡⲕⲁⲕⲉ ⲇⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲙⲡⲉⲓⲥ ⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲟⲩ
They entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Yeshua had not come to them.
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲏⲩ ⲛⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ
The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩϩⲓⲛⲉ ϭⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲁϫⲟⲩⲧⲏ ⲛⲥⲧⲁⲇⲓⲟⲛ ⲏ ⲙⲁⲁⲃ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲓϫⲛ ⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲉⲁϥϩⲱⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲣ ϩⲟⲧⲉ
When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Yeshua walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲣ ϩⲟⲧⲉ
But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱϣ ϭⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲗⲟϥ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲡϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲙⲟⲟⲛⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲕⲣⲟ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲛⲁⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϩⲓ ⲡⲓⲕⲣⲟ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙⲙⲛ ϭⲉ ϫⲟⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲏ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲓⲥ ⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲥ ⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲓ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲃⲱⲕ
On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Yeshua hadn’t entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲉⲛⲕⲉⲉϫⲏⲩ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲓⲃⲉⲣⲓⲁⲥ ϩⲁⲧⲙ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲉⲙ ⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲉⲁⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϣⲡ︦ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉϫⲱϥ
However, boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲁⲗⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲉϫⲏⲩ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲕⲁⲫⲁⲣⲛⲁⲟⲩⲙ ⲉⲩϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲥⲁ ⲓⲥ
When the multitude therefore saw that Yeshua wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Yeshua.
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩϩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϩⲓ ⲡⲓⲕⲣⲟ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲃⲃⲉⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲕⲉⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲉⲓⲙⲁ ⲛⲁϣ ⲛⲛⲁⲩ
When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲁⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲥⲱⲉⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲉⲛⲙⲁⲓⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϫⲉ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲟⲓⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲥⲓ
Yeshua answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲙⲡⲣⲣ ϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲣⲉ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧⲉϩⲣⲉ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲩⲱⲛϩ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲁⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ (aiōnios g166)
Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.” (aiōnios g166)
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲛⲛⲁⲁⲁϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲉⲣ ϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲛⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
They said therefore to him, “What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲁⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡϩⲱⲃ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡⲏ ⲧⲛⲛⲟⲟⲩϥ
Yeshua answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
30 ⲗ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ϭⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲕ ⲙⲙⲁⲓⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲕⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲡϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲧⲕⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
They said therefore to him, “What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲛⲉⲛⲉⲓⲟⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲙⲁⲛⲛⲁ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲣⲏⲙⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲓⲕ ⲉⲩⲟⲙϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ
Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ϫⲉ ⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲧⲁϥϯ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲙⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉⲧϯ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲙⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲙⲙⲉ
Yeshua therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϥϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲙⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ
For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲓϣ ⲛⲓⲙ
They said therefore to him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
35 ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲙⲡⲱⲛϩ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲛϥⲛⲁϩⲕⲟ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲉⲓ ⲛϥⲛⲁⲉⲓⲃⲉ ⲁⲛ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ
Yeshua said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
36 ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ

All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.

This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (aiōnios g166)
41 ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲕⲣⲙⲣⲙ ϭⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲏⲧϥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲟⲓⲕ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ
The Judeans therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down out of heaven.”
42 ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲙⲡⲁⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲛⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϣ ϭⲉ ⲛϩⲉ ϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ
They said, “Isn’t this Yeshua, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”
43 ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲣ ⲕⲣⲙⲣⲙ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲉⲣⲏⲩ
Therefore Yeshua answered them, “Don’t murmur amongst yourselves.

I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” (aiōn g165)

Yeshua therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.
54 ⲛ̅ⲇ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲥⲱ ⲙⲡⲁ ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲱⲛϩ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ϩⲙ ⲡϩⲁⲉ ⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ (aiōnios g166)
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
55 ⲛ̅ⲉ̅ ⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲟⲩϩⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲉⲉ ⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲥⲱ ⲙⲙⲉⲉ ⲡⲉ
For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 ⲛ̅ⲋ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲥⲱ ⲙⲡⲁⲥⲛⲟϥ ϥⲛⲁϭⲱ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
57 ⲛ̅ⲍ̅ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲱⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲙⲛⲧ ⲡⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲱⲱϥ ⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲏⲧ
As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
58 ⲛ̅ⲏ̅ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲟⲓⲕ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲛⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲛⲓⲟⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲟⲓⲕ ϥⲛⲁⲱⲛϩ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ (aiōn g165)
This is the bread which came down out of heaven—not as our fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.” (aiōn g165)
59 ⲛ̅ⲑ̅ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ⲧⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲉϥϯ ⲥⲃⲱ ϩⲛ ⲕⲁⲫⲁⲣⲛⲁⲟⲩⲙ
He said these things in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60 ⲝ̅ ϩⲁϩ ϭⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲓϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲁϣⲧ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϣ ⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”
61 ⲝ̅ⲁ̅ ⲉϥⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲥ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲕⲣⲙⲣⲙ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲏⲧϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ
But Yeshua knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble?
62 ⲝ̅ⲃ̅ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛϣⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ϭⲉ ⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϥⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ
Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
63 ⲝ̅ⲅ̅ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲡⲉⲧⲧⲁⲛϩⲟ ⲛⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ϯϩⲏⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲗⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲡⲉ
It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.
64 ⲝ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲉⲛⲥⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲓⲛ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲇⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Yeshua knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him.
65 ⲝ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ϫⲉ ⲙⲙⲛ ϣϭⲟⲙ ⲗⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲉⲓⲙⲏⲧⲓ ⲛⲥⲉⲧⲁⲁⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡⲉⲓⲱⲧ
He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.”
66 ⲝ̅ⲋ̅ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲁϩⲁϩ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲗⲟ ⲉⲩⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ
At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.
67 ⲝ̅ⲍ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲙⲡⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲱⲕ
Yeshua said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”
68 ⲝ̅ⲏ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲉⲛⲛⲁⲃⲱⲕ ϣⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲱⲛϩ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧⲕ (aiōnios g166)
Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
69 ⲝ̅ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
We have come to believe and know that you are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
70 ⲟ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲓⲥⲉⲧⲡ︦ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲙⲡⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ
Yeshua answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
71 ⲟ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲉϥϫⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲓⲥⲕⲁⲣⲓⲱⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲇⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ
Now he spoke of Judah, the son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.
