1 ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲁ ⲁⲩϯ ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲙⲏⲧⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲥⲃⲃⲉ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲙⲛ ϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ⲉⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ
Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can’t be saved.”
2 ⲃ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲍⲏⲧⲏⲥⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲩⲧⲉϣ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲕⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲃⲱⲕ ϣⲁ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲧϩⲛ ⲑⲓⲗⲏⲙ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲉⲓⲍⲏⲧⲏⲙⲁ
Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul, Barnabas, and some others of them to go up to Jerusalem to the emissaries and elders about this question.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ϭⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲑⲡⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲧⲉⲫⲟⲓⲛⲓⲕⲏ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲥⲁⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲧⲟ ⲛⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲣⲁϣⲉ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ
They, being sent on their way by the assembly, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles. They caused great joy to all the brothers.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲟⲗⲩⲙⲁ ⲁⲩϣⲟⲡⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ
When they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly and the emissaries and the elders, and they reported everything that God had done with them.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲑⲁⲓⲣⲉⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϣϣⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲥⲃⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲥⲉⲡⲁⲣⲁⲅⲅⲓⲗⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ
But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the Torah of Moses.”
6 ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲉⲓϣⲁϫⲉ
The emissaries and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲍⲏⲧⲏⲥⲓⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲁⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ϫⲉ ϫⲓⲛ ⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲧⲁⲧⲁⲡⲣⲟ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲥⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ
When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice amongst you that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News and believe.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲁϥⲣⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲉⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ϩⲱⲱⲛ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲛ
God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡϥϯⲡⲱⲣϫ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲉⲁϥⲧⲃⲃⲉ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ
He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ϭⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲛⲁϩⲃ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲙⲁⲕϩ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲉⲓⲟⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϣϭⲙϭⲟⲙ ⲉϥⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ
Now therefore why do you tempt God, that you should put a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲧⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓⲥ ⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲟⲩ
But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Yeshua, just as they are.”
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲕⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲧⲁⲩⲟ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲉⲓⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ
All the multitude kept silence, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done amongst the nations through them.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲁ ⲧⲣⲉⲩⲕⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ
After they were silent, Jacob answered, “Brothers, listen to me.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲥⲩⲙⲉⲱⲛ ⲁϥϫⲱ ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϭⲙⲡϣⲓⲛⲉ ϫⲓⲛ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉϫⲓⲟⲩⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ
Simeon has reported how God first visited the nations to take out of them a people for his name.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲥⲩⲙⲫⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ
This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ϫⲉ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ϯⲛⲁⲕⲧⲟⲓ ⲧⲁⲕⲱⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲕⲩⲛⲏ ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ ⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲥϩⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϯⲛⲁⲕⲱⲧ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩϣⲟⲣϣⲣ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲁⲧⲁϩⲟⲥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ
‘After these things I will return. I will again build the tabernacle of David, which has fallen. I will again build its ruins. I will set it up
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲕⲉⲥⲉⲉⲡⲉ ⲛⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲥⲁ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲉⲡⲓⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ
that the rest of men may seek after the Lord: all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who does all these things.’
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲓⲛ ⲉⲛⲉϩ (aiōn g165)
“All of God’s works are known to him from eternity. (aiōn g165)
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲉⲧⲙϯϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲕⲱⲧ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ
Therefore my judgement is that we don’t trouble those from amongst the Gentiles who turn to God,
20 ⲕ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲥⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛϫⲱϩⲙ ⲛⲛⲉⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲡⲟⲣⲛⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲕⲁ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲉⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙⲧⲣⲉⲩⲁⲁϥ ⲛϭⲉ
but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲓⲛ ⲛⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁ ⲛⲛⲁⲣⲭⲁⲓⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲕⲩⲣⲏⲥⲥⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲛ ⲛⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲉⲩⲱϣ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ
For Moses from generations of old has in every city those who proclaim him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲥⲛⲇⲟⲕⲓ ⲛⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲉϫⲟⲟⲩⲥⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲛⲧⲓⲟⲭⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲡⲉϣⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲓⲗⲁⲥ ϩⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲛⲟϭ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ
Then it seemed good to the emissaries and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judah called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men amongst the brothers.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲉⲁⲩⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲧϩⲛ ⲧⲁⲛⲧⲓⲟⲭⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲥⲩⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲕⲩⲗⲓⲕⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲧϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲭⲁⲓⲣⲉⲧⲉ
They wrote these things by their hand: “The emissaries, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲉⲡⲉⲓⲇⲏ ⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲙ ϫⲉ ⲁϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲛ ⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲱⲧⲛ ⲁⲩϣⲧⲣⲧⲣ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ϩⲛ ϩⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲩϯ ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲙⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲙⲡⲛϩⲱⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ
Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, ‘You must be circumcised and keep the Torah,’ to whom we gave no commandment;

it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ϩⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϩⲁ ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓⲥ
men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁⲛⲧⲛⲛⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲥⲓⲗⲁⲥ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲛ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϫⲱ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ
We have sent therefore Judah and Silas, who themselves will also tell you the same things by word of mouth.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲁⲥⲛⲇⲟⲕⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲙⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲃⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲉϫⲛ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲧⲟⲣ
For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲉⲥⲁϩⲉⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϣⲱⲱⲧ ⲛⲛⲉⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϣⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲡⲟⲣⲛⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲟⲩⲁϣⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ⲙⲡⲣⲁⲁⲩ ⲛϭⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛϣⲁⲛϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲣϣⲁⲩ ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ
that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality, from which if you keep yourselves, it will be well with you. Farewell.”
30 ⲗ̅ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ϭⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲕⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲛⲧⲓⲟⲭⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲩϩ ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ
So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲟϣⲥ ⲁⲩⲣⲁϣⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲥⲟⲡⲥ
When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲥⲓⲗⲁⲥ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ϩⲁϩ ⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲡⲥ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟⲟⲩ
Judah and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words and strengthened them.
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣ ⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲟⲩⲥⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲓⲗⲏⲙ ϣⲁ ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲟⲩ
After they had spent some time there, they were dismissed in peace from the brothers to the emissaries.
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲥⲛⲇⲟⲕⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲥⲓⲗⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϭⲱ ⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ

But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming the word of the Lord, with many others also.
36 ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲁ ϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲛⲕⲟⲧⲛ ⲛⲧⲛϭⲙ ⲡϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲛⲧⲁϣⲉ ⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲙⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲣⲟⲩ
After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”
37 ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉϫⲓ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲛⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϣⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲕⲟⲥ
Barnabas planned to take Yochanan, who was called Mark, with them also.
38 ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲁⲝⲓⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙϫⲓ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲡⲱⲣϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲓⲛ ⲛⲧⲡⲁⲙⲫⲩⲗⲓⲁ ⲙⲡϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲫⲱⲃ
But Paul didn’t think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn’t go with them to do the work.
39 ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲡⲁⲣⲟⲝⲩⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲥⲉⲥⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲉⲣⲏⲩ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲣⲕⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲥϭⲏⲣ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲕⲩⲡⲣⲟⲥ
Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,
40 ⲙ̅ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲥⲓⲗⲁⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲩϯ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ
but Paul chose Silas and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.
41 ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲧⲥⲩⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲕⲓⲗⲓⲕⲓⲁ ⲁϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲛⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ
He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the assemblies.
