1 ⲁ̅ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲩⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲛⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲓϩⲉ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲙⲛ ⲛϩⲉⲗⲗⲏⲛ
In Iconium, they entered together into the Jewish synagogue, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲩⲙⲉⲕϩ ⲛⲉⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ
But the disbelieving Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲣⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲣⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲙⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲉⲧϯ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲙⲁⲉⲓⲛ ⲙⲛ ϩⲉⲛϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲧⲉⲩϭⲓϫ
Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who testified to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲁⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲡⲱϣ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲡⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ϩⲉⲛⲕⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ
But the multitude of the city was divided. Part sided with the Jews and part with the emissaries.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲥⲟϣⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲥⲉϩⲓⲱⲛⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ
When some of both the Gentiles and the Jews, with their rulers, made a violent attempt to mistreat and stone them,
6 ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲡⲱⲧ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲙⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲛⲧⲗⲩⲕⲁⲟⲛⲓⲁ ⲗⲩⲥⲇⲣⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲉⲣⲃⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲡⲉⲣⲓⲭⲱⲣⲟⲥ
they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, Derbe, and the surrounding region.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲍⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ
There they preached the Good News.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲛ ⲗⲩⲥⲇⲣⲁ ⲛϭⲱⲃ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ ⲉϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϭⲁⲗⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲓⲛ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲙⲡϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲉⲛⲉϩ
At Lystra a certain man sat, impotent in his feet, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲓⲱⲣⲙ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁϥ ⲁϥⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲧϥ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ
He was listening to Paul speaking, who, fastening eyes on him and seeing that he had faith to be made whole,
10 ⲓ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲕ ϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲕ ϩⲓϫⲛ ⲛⲉⲕⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϥⲟϭϥ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ
said with a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet!” He leapt up and walked.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲁϥ ⲁⲩϥⲓ ϩⲣⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲩⲁⲥⲡⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲛ
When the multitude saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voice, saying in the language of Lycaonia, “The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!”
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲍⲉⲩⲥ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲡϩⲣⲙⲏⲥ ⲉⲡⲉⲓⲇⲏ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ
They called Barnabas “Jupiter”, and Paul “Mercury”, because he was the chief speaker.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲡⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲍⲉⲩⲥ ⲉⲧⲙⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲙⲁⲥⲉ ⲙⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲕⲗⲟⲙ ⲉⲣⲛ ⲛⲣⲟ ⲙⲛ ⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ
The priest of Jupiter, whose temple was in front of their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and would have made a sacrifice along with the multitudes.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲡⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲟⲉⲓⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲡⲱⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲁϣⲕⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
But when the emissaries, Barnabas and Paul, heard of it, they tore their clothes and sprang into the multitude, crying out,
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲱⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲁⲛϩⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲉⲥⲁϩⲉⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲓⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲩⲉⲓⲧ ⲉⲕⲧⲉ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϩ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲓⲉ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲙⲛ ⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ
“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of the same nature as you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲡⲁⲓ ϩⲛ ⲛϫⲱⲙ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲁϥⲕⲱ ⲛⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲃⲱⲕ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲓⲟⲟⲩⲉ
who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲕⲁⲓⲧⲟⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲙⲡϥϭⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲛⲣⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉϥⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲉϥϯ ⲛϩⲉⲛϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲓϣ ⲛⲣⲉϥϯⲕⲁⲣⲡⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲧⲥⲓⲟ ⲛⲛⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲧⲣⲟⲫⲏ ϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ
Yet he didn’t leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from the sky and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲟⲅⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲧⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲙϣⲱⲱⲧ ⲛⲁⲩ
Even saying these things, they hardly stopped the multitudes from making a sacrifice to them.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲁⲛⲧⲓⲟⲭⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ϩⲓⲕⲟⲛⲓⲟⲥ ⲛϭⲓ ϩⲉⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲡⲓⲑⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓ ⲱⲛⲉ ⲉⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲥⲩⲣⲣⲁ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ
But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲣⲟⲩϩⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲛ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲃⲏ
But as the disciples stood around him, he rose up, and entered into the city. On the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲧⲁϣⲉ ⲟⲓϣ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϯ ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲕⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲗⲩⲥⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ϩⲓⲕⲟⲛⲓⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲁⲛⲧⲓⲟⲭⲓⲁ
When they had preached the Good News to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲉⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲛⲉⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡⲥ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϭⲱ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ϩⲁϩ ⲛⲑⲗⲓⲯⲓⲥ ⲉⲛⲁⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲙⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into God’s Kingdom.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲥⲙⲓⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲁⲩϣⲗⲏⲗ ⲙⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲛⲏⲥⲧⲓⲁ ⲁⲩϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
When they had appointed elders for them in every assembly, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord on whom they had believed.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲛⲧⲡⲏⲥⲓⲇⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲣⲅⲏ ⲛⲧⲡⲁⲙⲫⲩⲗⲓⲁ
They passed through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia.
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲁⲧⲧⲁⲗⲓⲁ
When they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲇⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲥϭⲏⲣ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲛⲧⲓⲟⲭⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲡϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲧⲁⲩϫⲟⲕϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
From there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had fulfilled.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲧⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲛⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ
When they had arrived and had gathered the assembly together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲙⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ
They stayed there with the disciples for a long time.
