A Psalm of Asaph. God presides in the divine assembly; He renders judgment among the gods:

2 Nangman itihchan hi miphalouho napanpia thudihlou ho nachelhah sah dingham?

“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked?

3 Chaga leh vaichate chungah thudih chepin lang; tahlel tele engbolla umte chungah thudih phongdoh in.

Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.

4 Panpi bei tele engbolla umte huhdoh in, miphalouho khut a konin huhdoh-in.

Rescue the weak and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked.

5 Hinla mibolse ten imacha ahepouve; ama hokhu hetna lhasam ahiuve. Muthim noi a avah leuvin, liset sungil lamgei in ahotling tai.

They do not know or understand; they wander in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 Keiman kasei in, ‘Naho pathen nahiuve; nangho hatchungnung chilhah te nahiu ve.

I have said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’

7 Hinlah nangho mihem mai mai banga nathi diu, thunei vaihom dang ho banga nalhuh thou thou diu ahi.’”

But like mortals you will die, and like rulers you will fall.”

8 Hung kipatin, O Pathen vannoi leiset hi athu tannin, ajeh chu chiding namdangho jouse jonghi aboncha nanga ahi.

Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are Your inheritance.
