4 Te phoeiah hno te a rhih la a boep uh tih phueihtloel la hlang kah laengpang dongah a tloeng uh dae amamih tah a kutdawn nen khaw tat sak ham ngaih uh pawh.
They tie up (now *N+kO) burdens heavy and hard to bear and lay [them] on the shoulders of men; themselves however with the finger of them not are they willing to move them.

All now the deeds of them they do in order to be seen by men; They broaden (for *N+kO) the phylacteries of them and enlarge tassels (the *k) (of garments of them. *K)
6 Buhkung ah hmuensang, tunim ah ngolhmuen then neh,
They love (now *N+kO) the chief place at the banquets and the first seats in the synagogues
7 Hnoyoih hmuen kah toidalnah uh neh hlang loh Rhabbi la a khue te a lungnah uh.
and the greetings in the marketplaces and to be called by men Rabbi (Rabbi. *K)

you yourselves however not may be called Rabbi; One for is of you the (Teacher *N+kO) (Christ *K) all now you yourselves brothers are.
And father no [one] may call of you on the earth; One for is of you the Father who [is] (in heaven. *N+kO)
10 Mawtkung la n'khue uh boel saeh, Khrih tah nangmih mawtkung la rhenten om coeng.
Neither may be called instructors, (since *N+kO) (the *k) instructor of you is One the Christ.
And the greatest among you will be your servant.
12 Tedae amah aka pomsang te tah tlarhoel vetih amah aka tlarhoel te tah a pomsang ni.
He who then will exalt himself will be humbled, and whoever will humble himself will be exalted.
Woe (however *no) to you, scribes and Pharisees hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; You yourselves for neither enter nor even those entering do you allow to go in.
(woe to you scribes and Pharisees hypocrites for you devour houses widows and as a pretext long praying; through this you will receive more excessive judgment. *K)
15 Anunae nangmih cadaek rhoek neh Pharisee hlangthai palat rhoek, pakhat te poehlip sak ham tuili neh rhamrhae na hil uh. Tedae a om tanglai vaengah tah anih te namamih laklah rhaepnit la hell kah a ca la na poeh sak uh. (Geenna g1067)
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees hypocrites! For you traverse the sea and the dry [land] to make one convert, and when he may become [so], you make him a son of hell twofold more than yourselves. (Geenna g1067)
16 Anunae nangmih mawtkung mikdael rhoek, ' Bawkim neh aka toemngam te tah a toemngam phu om pawh, tedae bawkim kah sui neh a toemngam te man a kuek nah mako,’ aka ti rhoek
Woe to you, guides blind you who [are] saying; Who[ever] maybe may swear by the temple, no [thing] it is; who[ever] however maybe may swear by the gold of the temple is bound.
17 Mikdael neh hlang ang rhoek, melae tanglue la aka om? Sui a? Sui aka ciim bawkim a?
Foolish and blind! Which for greater is, the gold or the temple which (is sanctifying *N+kO) the gold?
And [you say] Who[ever] (maybe *N+kO) shall swear by the altar, no [thing] it is; who[ever] however maybe shall swear by the gift that [is] upon it, is bound.
19 Mikdael rhoek aw melae a tanglue? Kutdoe a? Kutdoe aka ciim hmueihtuk a?
(foolish and *K) You blind men! Which for [is] greater, the gift or the altar which is sanctifying the gift?
20 Te dongah hmueihtuk neh aka toemngam tah hmueihtuk neh a sokah boeih boeih neh a toemngam coeng.
The [one] therefore having sworn by the altar swears by it and by all things that [are] upon it,
21 Te phoeiah Bawkim neh aka toemngam tah Bawkim neh a tolvael te a toemngam coeng.
And the [one] having sworn by the temple swears by it and by the [One] (dwelling *NK+o) in it,
22 Te phoeiah vaan neh aka toemngam tah Pathen kah ngolkhoel neh te dongah aka ngol neh a toemngam coeng.
And the [one] having sworn by heaven swears by the throne of God and by the [One] sitting upon it.
Tedae he rhoek he saii ham a kuek atah te rhoek khaw hlahpham boeh.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and dill and cumin and you have neglected the weightier [matters] of the law, justice and (mercy *N+kO) and faithfulness; These (now *no) it was necessary to do those those not (to be leaving aside. *NK+o)
24 Mawtkung mikdael rhoek, pildik pataeng na soih u dae kalauk na dolh uh.
Guides blind! you who [are] straining out the gnat, the however camel swallowing!
25 Anunae nangmih cadaek rhoek neh Pharisee hlangthai palat rhoek, boengloeng neh baelphaih te a hmanhu ah na silh uh dae a khuikah halhkanah dongah khoeihveetnah neh na bae uh.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, inwardly however they are full of greed and (self-indulgence. *NK+O)
26 Pharisee mikdael rhoek boengloeng kah a khui te lamhma la cilpoe dae. Te daengah ni poeng ben khaw a caih la a om eh.
Pharisee blind! do cleanse first the inside of the cup (and *KO) (of the *ko) (dish *KO) that may become also the outside (of it *N+KO) clean.
27 Anunae nangmih cadaek rhoek neh Pharisee hlangthai palat rhoek, hlan a bok neh na loo uh. Te te ahmanhu ah sawtthen la tueng dae aka duek kah a rhuh neh rhongingnah boeih neh bae.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees hypocrites! For (you resemble *NK+o) tombs whitewashed which outside indeed appear beautiful, Inside however they are full of bones of [the] dead and of all impurity.
28 Nangmih khaw a hmanhu ah tah hlang dueng la na phoe uh tangloeng ngawn, tedae a khuiah thailatnah neh olaeknah a bae la om.
Thus also you yourselves outside indeed appear to men righteous, inwardly however you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
29 Anunae nangmih cadaek rhoek neh Pharisee hlangthai palat rhoek, tonghma rhoek kah hlan te na saii uh tih hlang dueng rhoek kah phuel te na thoeihcam uh.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous
30 Te phoeiah, ' A pa rhoek kah a tue vaengah ng'om uh koinih tonghma rhoek kah a thii dongah amih kah pueipo la ng'om pawt sue,’ na ti uh.
and you say; If (we were *N+kO) in the days of the fathers of us, not then would (we were ourselves being *N+kO) with them partakers in the blood of the prophets,
Thus you bear witness to yourselves that sons you are of those having murdered the prophets;
And you yourselves do fill up the measure of the fathers of you.
33 Rhul rhoek, rhulthae cadil rhoek, laitloeknah hell lamkah metlam na rhaelrham uh eh? (Geenna g1067)
Serpents Offspring of vipers! How shall you escape from the sentence of hell? (Geenna g1067)
34 He dongah ni kai loh tonghma rhoek, hlangcueih rhoek neh cadaek rhoek te nangmih taengah kan tueih he.
Because of this behold I myself send to you prophets and wise [men] and scribes; (and *k) Some of them you will kill and will crucify and [some] of them you will flog in the synagogues of you and will persecute from town to town;
35 Te dongah hlang dueng Abel kah thii lamloh bawkim neh hmueihtuk lakloah na ngawn uh Berikhiah kah capa Zekhriah kah thii duela, diklai hmanah hlang dueng rhoek kah thii a hawk te nangmih soah boeih thoeng.
so that may come upon you all [the] blood righteous being poured out upon the earth, from the blood of Abel the righteous until the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
36 Nangmih taengah rhep kan thui, he rhoek tah tahae kah cadil soah boeih thoeng ni.
Amen I say to you; (that *o) will come these things all upon generation this.
37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, tonghma rhoek aka ngawn neh a taengla a tueih rhoek te aka dae, ainu loh aicahui ke a phae hmuiah a hluembael vaengkah a longim bangla na ca rhoek te hluembael ham ka ngaih taitu dae na ngaih uh pawh.
Jerusalem Jerusalem you who [are] (killing *NK+o) the prophets and stoning those sent to her! How often I wanted to gathered together the children of you, in which way a hen gathers together the chicks (of her *N+kO) under the wings, and not you were willing?
38 Na im tah namamih taengah khosoek la a hlahpham coeng he.
Behold is left to you the house of you desolate!
39 Te dongah nangmih taengah kan thui, ' Boeipa ming neh aka pawk tah a yoethen pai, 'tila na ti uh hlan atah tahae lamkah loh kai muei na hmuh uh loeng loeng mahpawh,” a ti nah.
I say for to you; certainly not Me shall you see from now until when you may say; Blessed [is] the [One] coming in [the] name of [the] Lord.’
