< Galati 5 >

1 Mamih kah poenghalnah ham Khrih loh n'loeih sak dongah khak pai lamtah sal kah hnamkun te koep ngai boeh.
In freedom (which *k) us Christ has set free; do stand firm therefore and not again in a yoke of slavery do be entangled.
2 Kai, Paul loh nangmih taengah, “Yahvin na rhet uh pueng atah Khrih he nangmih ham a phu om mahpawh,” ka ti coeng he.
Behold I myself Paul say to you that if you shall become circumcised, Christ you no [thing] will profit;
3 Te phoeiah yahvin aka rhet hlang boeih tah olkhueng te boeih vai ham laiba om tila koep ka laipai.
I testify now again to every man being circumcised that a debtor he is all the Law to keep.
4 Khrih lamkah naka nong tih olkhueng neh aka tang long tah lungvatnah na hlong coeng.
You are severed from Christ whoever in [the] Law are being justified, from grace you have fallen away.
5 Mamih loh duengnah dongkah ngaiuepnah te tangnah mueihla neh n'lamtawn uh.
We ourselves for through [the] Spirit by faith [the] hope of righteousness eagerly await.
6 Te dongah Jesuh Khrih ah yahvinrhet khaw tloe pawh, pumdul khaw pakhat pataeng a tloe moenih. Tedae tangnah tah lungnah dongah pongthoo ta.
In for Christ Jesus neither circumcision any has power nor uncircumcision but only faith through love working.
7 Balh na yong uh tih oltak te ngaitang pawt ham unim nangmih aka mah.
You were running well; Who you (impeded *N+kO) the truth not to obey?
8 Hloihhlamnah tah nangmih aka khue taeng lamkah moenih.
[This] persuasion [is] not of the [One] calling you.
9 Tolrhu thamap ca vaidam hlom boeih a rhoi sak.
A little leaven whole the lump leavens.
10 Kai loh Boeipa dongah nangmih kan pangtung thil te a tloe la poek uh boeh. Tedae nangmih aka hinghuen tah u khaw om mai saeh laitloeknah a phueih bitni.
I myself have been confident as to you in [the] Lord that no [thing] other you will reason; The [one] however troubling you he will bear the judgment whoever (maybe *N+kO) he shall be.
11 Tedae ka manuca rhoek aw, yahvinrhetnah ka hoe pueng atah balae tih vawk n'hnaemtaek. Te dongah thangkui long tah thinglam dongkah ni a hmil.
I myself now, brothers, if circumcision still proclaim, why still am I persecuted? In that case has been abolished the offense of the cross.
12 Nangmih aka palet rhoek tah hlueng pataeng ka ngaih.
I wish also will emasculate themselves those upsetting you.
13 Te dongah manuca rhoek, poenghalnah khuila nangmih n'khue. Tedae rhoidoengnah he pumsa rhoidoengnah dawk ham moenih ta. Lungnah lamloh khat neh khat salbi uh.
You yourselves for to freedom were called, brothers; but not the freedom for an opportunity to the flesh, Rather through love do serve one another.
14 Olkhueng boeih he ol pakhat dongah soep coeng. Te khuiah, “Na imben te namah bangla lungnah,” a ti.
For the entire Law in one word (has been fulfilled *N+kO) in this You will love the neighbour of you as (yourself. *NK+O)
15 Tedae khat neh khat na nget uh tih na yoop uh thae atah ana noek uh, khat khat neh na hlawp uh thae mahpawt nim.
If however one another you bite and devour, do take heed lest by one another you may be consumed.
16 Te phoeiah Mueihla neh pongpa uh lamtah pumsa hoehhamnah te hoem uh loengloeng boeh ka ti.
I say now, by [the] Spirit do walk and [the] desire [of the] flesh certainly not you may gratify.
17 Pumsa ngaih loh mueihla te a koek tih Mueihla loh pumsa te a koek. Te tah khat neh khat kingkalh uh. Te dongah na ngaih pawt te na saii uh.
The for flesh desires against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; these (for *N+kO) to one another are opposed in order not that (maybe *N+kO) you shall wish those things you shall do.
18 Tedae Mueihla loh m'mawt atah olkhueng hmuiah na om uh pawh.
If however by [the] Spirit you are led, not you are under [the] Law.
19 Pumsa kah khoboe tah mingpha la om coeng. Te rhoek tah Cukhalnah, rhongingnah, omthenbawn,
Evident now are the works of the flesh which are (adultery *K) sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20 Mueibawknah, rhunsi khuehnah, thunkhanah, tohhaemnah, kohlopnah, thinsanah, koevoeinah, paekboenah, buhlaelh,
idolatry, (sorcery, *NK+o) enmities, strife, (jealousy, *N+kO) outbursts of anger, contentions, dissensions, factions,
21 uethnetnah, rhuihahnah, omngaihlawn he ni. Hekah phek la om. Tekah te thui tangtae bangla te bang kho aka boe rhoek loh Pathen kah ram pang mahpawh tila nangmih taengah ka thui.
envyings, (murders *KO) drunkennesses, carousing, and [things] like as these; which I forewarn you even as (also *k) I warned before that those such things doing kingdom God’s not will inherit.
22 Tedae Mueihla kah a thaih tah lungnah, omngaihnah, rhoepnah, thinsennah, rhennah, boethennah, tangnah,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 muelhtuetnah, kuemsuemnah ni. Tebang te olkhueng loh a kingkalh om pawh.
gentleness, self-control; against [things] such no there is law.
24 Tedae Jesuh Khrih kah rhoek long tah pumsa patangnah neh hoehhamnah te hmaih a tai coeng.
Those now of Christ (Jesus *NO) the flesh crucified with [its] passions and desires.
25 Mueihla neh n'hing uh atah Mueihla lamloh m'vai uh van ni.
If we live by [the] Spirit, by [the] Spirit also we shall walk.
26 Hoemdawk la khat neh khat takloh neh, khat neh khat uethnet neh om uh boel sih.
Not we may become boastful, one another provoking, one another envying.
