< 1 Khawrin 12 >

1 Manuca rhoek, mueihla ah na mangvawt uh ham ka ngaih moenih.
Concerning now spiritual [gifts], brothers, not I do want you to be ignorant.
2 Namtom rhoek bangla na om uh vaengah mueirhol olmueh taengla ngahngah m'mawt uh tih n'khuen uh te na ming uh.
You know that (when *NO) pagans you were to idols mute even as maybe you were led being carried away.
3 Pathen kah Mueihla neh aka cal loh, “Jesuh tah kosi ni,” a ti pawt te nangmih taengah kam phoe. Te dongah Mueihla Cim nen pawt atah, “Boeipa Jesuh,” a ti thai moenih.
Therefore I make known to you that no [one] in [the] Spirit of God speaking says: Accursed [is] (Jesus, *N+kO) and no [one] is able to say: (Lord Jesus [is], *N+kO) only except in [the] Spirit Holy.
4 Te dongah kutdoe cungkuem om dae Mueihla tah amah boeiloeih ni.
Varieties now of gifts there are, but the same Spirit;
5 Bibinah khaw a cungluem la om dae Boeipa tah amah boeiloeih ni.
and varieties of services there are, but the same Lord;
6 Pongthohnah khaw a cungkuem la om dae Pathen amah te cungkuem dongah cungkuem la tueng.
and varieties of workings there are, the (but *NK+o) same (is *k) God who is working the all things in everyone.
7 Tedae Mueihla kah a phoenah loh amih a rhoei nah ham rhip a paek coeng.
To each now is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common profiting.
8 Pakhat te Mueihla loh cueihnah olka a paek tih, a tloe taengah Mueihla amah loh mingnah olka khaw,
To one indeed for through the Spirit is given a word of wisdom, to another however a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
9 Mueihla amah loh a tloe tangnah, Mueihla pakhat loh a tloe taengah hoeihnah kutdoe,
to a different one (now *k) faith by the same Spirit, to another now gifts of healing in that (one *N+KO) Spirit,
10 a tloe taengah thaomnah kah pongthohnah, a tloe taengah tonghma ol, a tloe taengah mueihla kah boelhkhoehnah, a tloe te namtom ol, pakhat te ol a kongnah a paek.
to another now working of miracles, to another now prophecy, to another now distinguishing of spirits, to a different one (now *k) various kinds of tongues, to another now interpretation of tongues;
11 Te dongah he boeih he Mueihla amah pakhat loh pakhat rhip taengah a tueng sak tih a ngaih bangla a tael pah.
All now these things works the one and the same Spirit apportioning individually to each even as He wills.
12 Pum tah pakhat la om tih pumrho muep om. Pum kah pumrho boeih loh muep om cakhaw a pum pakhat a om bangla Khrih khaw om van.
Just as for the body one is and members many has all now the members of the body (of the one *K) many being one are body, so also [is] Christ.
13 Mamih khaw, Judah rhoek khaw, Greek rhoek khaw, Sal khaw, aka loeih khaw mueihla pakhat dongah pum pakhat la boeih n'nuem uh. Te dongah mueihla pakhat la boeih n'tul coeng.
Also for in one Spirit we ourselves all into one body were baptized, whether Jews or Greeks whether slaves or free, and all (into *k) one Spirit we were made to drink.
14 Pum tah pakhat bueng van pawt tih pumrho muep om.
Also for the body not is one member but many.
15 Kho loh, “Kut te kai moenih, pum kah a hut la ka om moenih,” ti koinih he kongah pum kah koe la a om pawt moenih.
If shall say the foot; Because not I am a hand, not I am of the body, not on account of this not is it of the body?
16 Hna long khaw, “Mik te kai moenih, pum kah koe la ka om moenih,” ti koinih he kongah pum kah koe la a om pawt moenih.
And if shall say the ear; Because not I am an eye, not I am of the body, not on account of this not is it of the body?
17 Pum tah mik la boeih om koinih hnavue tah melam a om eh? Hnavue la boeih om koinih a bova tah metlam a him eh?
If all the body [were] an eye, where [would be] the hearing? If all [were] hearing, where [would be] the sense of smell?
18 Tedae pumrho te Pathen loh rhip a khueh coeng. Amih pakhat rhip pum dongkah ham a ngaih ta.
(now *NK+o) however God has arranged the members, one each of them in the body even as He desired.
19 Te dongah pumrho loh pakhat la boeih om koinih pum te melam a om eh?
If now were all one member, where [would be] the body?
20 Tedae tahae ah pumrho loh yet ngawn cakhaw pum pakhat ni a om.
Now however many indeed [are the] members, [there is] one however body.
21 Te dongah mik loh kut te, “Nang kan ngoe moenih,” te phoeiah lu loh kho te, “Nangmih kang ngoe moenih,” a ti thai moenih.
Not is able now the eye to say to the hand; Need of you not I have, Or again the head to the feet; Need of you not I have;
22 Tedae pum dongkah pumrho muep la aka poek loh tattloel la lat om om tangkik.
But much rather those seeming members of the body weaker to be indispensable are,
23 Pum kah sawtsit aka om la m'poek uh pumrho te khaw hinyahnah neh anah la n'thingcam uh. Mamih kah rhaidaeng long khaw thenrhuep a khueh khungdaeng.
and those which we think less honorable to be of the body, these honor more excessive we bestow, and the unpresentable [parts] of us decorum more excessive have;
24 Tedae mamih kah hlangcong pumrho loh ngoe pawt cakhaw Pathen loh pum te a sombong tih aka vawt rhoek taengah hinyahnah muep a paek.
and the presentable [parts] of us no need have. but God [who] has composed the body to that which (is become lacking *N+kO) more excessive having given honor,
25 Te daengah ni pum dongah paekboenah a om pawt eh. Tedae pumrho amah te pakhat ham khaw mawn puei saeh.
so that not there may be (division *N+kO) in the body, but the same for one another may have concern the members;
26 Te dongah pumrho pakhat loh a tloh atah pumrho loh boeih patang. Pumrho pakhat a thangpom atah pumrho boeih loh a omngaih puei.
And (if *NK+o) suffers one member, suffer with [it] all the members; if is honored one member, rejoice with [it] all the members.
27 Nangmih tah Khrih kah pum neh cungvang ah a pumrho la na om uh.
You yourselves now are [the] body of Christ and members in particular.
28 Te dongah amih te Pathen loh hlangboel khuiah, lamhma la caeltueih rhoek, pabae ah tonghma rhoek, pathum ah saya rhoek neh thaomnah, hoeihnah kutdoe, talongkung rhoek, boelrhaikung rhoek, namtom ol neh rhep a khueh.
And some indeed has appointed God in the church first apostles, secondly prophets, third teachers, then miracles, (then *N+kO) gifts of healing, helping, administrating, various kinds of tongues.
29 Hlang boeih he caeltueih moenih. Hlang boeih he tonghma moenih. Hlang boeih he saya moenih. Hlang boeih he thaomnah moenih.
Surely not all [are] apostles? Surely not all [are] prophets? Surely not all [are] teachers? Surely not all [do] miracles?
30 Hlang boeih loh hoeihnah kutdoe a khueh uh moenih. Hlang boeih loh olka a thui moenih. Hlang boeih loh a thuicaih moenih.
Surely not all gifts have of healings? Surely not all in tongues do speak? Surely not all do interpret?
31 Tedae kutdoe tanglue te yakvawt uh lah. Te dongah longpuei he a puehkan la nangmih kan tueng pueng.
do be desirous of however the gifts (greater. *N+KO) And now according to a more surpassing way to you I show.
