Salmos 96

1 Cantai ao SENHOR uma nova canção; cantai ao SENHOR toda a terra.

Singe ye a newe song to the Lord; al erthe, synge ye to the Lord.

2 Cantai ao SENHOR, bendizei ao seu nome; anunciai todos os dias sua salvação.

Synge ye to the Lord, and blesse ye his name; telle ye his heelthe fro dai in to dai.

3 Contai sua glória por entre as nações, [e] suas maravilhas por entre todos os povos.

Telle ye his glorie among hethene men; hise merueilis among alle puplis.

4 Porque o SENHOR é grande e muito digno de louvor; ele é mais temível que todos os deuses.

For the Lord is greet, and worthi to be preisid ful myche; he is ferdful aboue alle goddis.

5 Porque todos os deuses dos povos são ídolos, porém o SENHOR fez os céus;

For alle the goddis of hethene men ben feendis; but the Lord made heuenes.

6 Majestade e glória há diante dele; força e beleza [há] em seu santuário.

Knouleching and fairnesse is in his siyt; hoolynesse and worthi doyng is in his halewing.

7 Reconhecei ao SENHOR, ó famílias dos povos; reconhecei que ao SENHOR pertence a glória e a força.

Ye cuntrees of hethene men, brynge to the Lord, bringe ye glorye and onour to the Lord;

8 Reconhecei ao SENHOR a glória de seu nome; trazei ofertas, e entrai nos pátios dele.

bringe ye to the Lord glorie to hys name. Take ye sacrificis, and entre ye in to the hallis of hym;

9 Adorai ao SENHOR na glória da santidade; temei perante sua presença toda a terra.

herie ye the Lord in his hooli halle. Al erthe be moued of his face;

10 Dizei entre as nações: O SENHOR reina; o mundo está firme, e não se abalará; ele julgará aos povos de forma correta.

seie ye among hethene men, that the Lord hath regned. And he hath amendid the world, that schal not be moued; he schal deme puplis in equite.

11 Alegrem-se os céus, e enchei de alegria a terra; faça barulho o mar e sua plenitude.

Heuenes be glad, and the erthe make ful out ioye, the see and the fulnesse therof be moued togidere; feeldis schulen make ioye,

12 Saltem contentes o campo e tudo que nele há, e que todas as árvores dos bosque cantem de alegria,

and alle thingis that ben in tho. Thanne alle the trees of wodis schulen make ful out ioye, for the face of the Lord, for he cometh;

13 Diante do SENHOR; porque ele vem; porque ele vem para julgar a terra. Ele julgará ao mundo com justiça, e aos povos com sua verdade.
