غلاطیان 1

۱ 1 پولس، رسول نه از جانب انسان و نه بوسیله انسان بلکه به عیسی مسیح و خدای پدر که او را از مردگان برخیزانید،

To the churches in Galatia, from Paul, an apostle whose commission is not from any human authority and is given, not by human beings, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised him from the dead;

۲ 2 و همه برادرانی که بامن می‌باشند، به کلیساهای غلاطیه،

and from all the followers of the Lord here.

۳ 3 فیض و سلامتی از جانب خدای پدر وخداوند ما عیسی مسیح با شما باد؛

May God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, bless you and give you peace.

۴ 4 که خود رابرای گناهان ما داد تا ما را از این عالم حاضر شریربحسب اراده خدا و پدر ما خلاصی بخشد، (aiōn g165)

For Christ, to rescue us from this present wicked age, gave himself for our sins, in accordance with the will of our God and Father, (aiōn g165)

۵ 5 که او را تا ابدالاباد جلال باد. آمین. (aiōn g165)

to whom be ascribed all glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

۶ 6 تعجب می‌کنم که بدین زودی از آن کس که شما را به فیض مسیح خوانده است، برمی گردیدبه سوی انجیلی دیگر،

I am astonished at your so soon deserting him, who called you through the love of Christ, for a different “good news,”

۷ 7 که (انجیل ) دیگر نیست. لکن بعضی هستند که شما را مضطرب می‌سازندو می‌خواهند انجیل مسیح را تبدیل نمایند.

which is really no good news at all. But then, I know that there are people who are harassing you, and who want to pervert the good news of the Christ.

۸ 8 بلکه هرگاه ما هم یا فرشته‌ای از آسمان، انجیلی غیر از آنکه ما به آن بشارت دادیم به شما رساند، اناتیما باد.

Yet even if we – or if an angel from heaven were to tell you any other “good news” than that which we told you, may he be accursed!

۹ 9 چنانکه پیش گفتیم، الان هم بازمی گویم: اگر کسی انجیلی غیر از آنکه پذیرفتیدبیاورد، اناتیما باد.

We have said it before, and I repeat it now – If anyone tells you a “good news” other than that which you received, may he be accursed!

۱۰ 10 آیا الحال مردم را در رای خود می‌آورم؟ یا خدا را یا رضامندی مردم را می طلبم؟ اگر تابحال رضامندی مردم رامی خواستم، غلام مسیح نمی بودم.

Is this, I ask, trying to conciliate people, or God? Am I seeking to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I should not be a servant of Christ.

۱۱ 11 اما‌ای برادران شما را اعلام می‌کنم ازانجیلی که من بدان بشارت دادم که به طریق انسان نیست.

I remind you, friends, that the good news which I told is no mere human invention.

۱۲ 12 زیرا که من آن را از انسان نیافتم ونیاموختم، مگر به کشف عیسی مسیح.

I, at least, did not receive it from any human being, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through a revelation made by Jesus Christ.

۱۳ 13 زیراسرگذشت سابق مرا در دین یهود شنیده‌اید که برکلیسای خدا بینهایت جفا می‌نمودم و آن راویران می‌ساختم،

You heard, no doubt, of my conduct when I was devoted to Judaism – how I persecuted the church of God to an extent beyond belief, and tried to destroy it,

۱۴ 14 و در دین یهود از اکثرهمسالان قوم خود سبقت می‌جستم و در تقالیداجداد خود بغایت غیور می‌بودم.

and how, in my devotion to Judaism, I surpassed many of my contemporaries among my own people in my intense earnestness in upholding the traditions of my ancestors.

۱۵ 15 اما چون خداکه مرا از شکم مادرم برگزید و به فیض خود مراخواند، رضا بدین داد

But when God, who had set me apart even before my birth, and who called me by his love,

۱۶ 16 که پسر خود را در من آشکار سازد تا در میان امت‌ها بدو بشارت دهم، در آنوقت با جسم و خون مشورت نکردم،

saw fit to reveal his Son in me, so that I might tell the good news of him among the Gentiles, then at once, instead of consulting any human being,

۱۷ 17 و به اورشلیم هم نزد آنانی که قبل از من رسول بودندنرفتم، بلکه به عرب شدم و باز به دمشق مراجعت کردم.

or even going up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before me, I went to Arabia, and came back again to Damascus.

۱۸ 18 پس بعد از سه سال، برای ملاقات پطرس به اورشلیم رفتم و پانزده روز با وی بسر بردم.

Three years afterwards I went up to Jerusalem to make the acquaintance of Peter, and I stayed a fortnight with him.

۱۹ 19 اما از سایر رسولان جز یعقوب برادر خداوندرا ندیدم.

I did not, however, see any other apostle, except James, the Master’s brother.

۲۰ 20 اما درباره آنچه به شما می‌نویسم، اینک در حضور خدا دروغ نمی گویم.

(As to what I am now writing to you, I call God to witness that I am speaking the truth).

۲۱ 21 بعد از آن به نواحی سوریه و قیلیقیه آمدم.

Afterwards I went to the districts of Syria and Cilicia.

۲۲ 22 و به کلیساهای یهودیه که در مسیح بودند صورت غیرمعروف بودم،

But I was still unknown even by sight to the Christian churches in Judea;

۲۳ 23 جز اینکه شنیده بودند که «آنکه پیشتر بر ما جفا می‌نمود، الحال بشارت می‌دهد به همان ایمانی که قبل از این ویران می‌ساخت.»

all that they had heard was – “The man who once persecuted us is now telling the good news of the faith of which he once tried to destroy.”

۲۴ 24 و خدا را در من تمجید نمودند.

And they praised God for my sake.
