Psalms 63

1 A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, my God, you, you do I seek: my heart thirsts for you, my body faints for you in a parched and waterless land.

Псалом Давиду, внегда быти ему в пустыни Иудейстей. Боже, Боже мой, к Тебе утренюю: возжада Тебе душа моя, коль множицею Тебе плоть моя, в земли пусте и непроходне и безводне.

2 As I in the temple have seen you, beholding your power and your glory,

Тако во святем явихся Тебе, видети силу Твою и славу Твою.

3 for better than life is your kindness: my lips shall utter your praise.

Яко лучши милость Твоя паче живот: устне мои похвалите Тя.

4 So, while I live, I will bless you, and lift up my hands in your name.

Тако благословлю Тя в животе моем и о имени Твоем воздежу руце мои.

5 As with marrow and fat am I feasted; with joyful lips I will praise you.

Яко от тука и масти да исполнится душа моя, и устнама радости восхвалят Тя уста моя.

6 I call you to mind on my bed, and muse on you in the night watches;

Аще поминах Тя на постели моей, на утренних поучахся в Тя:

7 for you have been my help, I joyfully sing in the shadow of your wings.

яко был еси помощник мой, и в крове крилу Твоею возрадуюся.

8 I cling close after you, your right hand holds me up.

Прильпе душа моя по Тебе: мене же прият десница Твоя.

9 But those who seek after my life shall go down to the depths of the earth,

Тии же всуе искаша душу мою: внидут в преисподняя земли: (questioned)

10 given o’er to the power of the sword, or as prey for jackals to devour.

предадятся в руки оружия, части лисовом будут.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God: all who own his allegiance will glory. For the mouth of the false shall be stopped.

Царь же возвеселится о Бозе: похвалится всяк кленыйся Им, яко заградишася уста глаголющих неправедная.
