Psalms 135
1 Alleluia. Praise you the name of the Lord; praise the Lord, [you his] servants,
Алілу́я!
2 who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
що стоїте́ в домі Господньому, на подві́р'ях дому нашого Бога!
3 Praise you the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises to his name; for [it is] good.
Хваліть Господа, — бо добрий Госпо́дь, співайте Іме́нню Його, — бо приємне воно,
4 For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
бо вибрав Господь собі Якова, Ізраїля — на власність Свою!
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and our Lord is above all gods;
Знаю бо я, що Господь і Владика наш більший від богів усіх!
6 all that the Lord willed, he did in heaven, and on the earth, in the sea, and in all deeps.
Все, що хоче Господь, те Він чинить на небі та на землі, на моря́х та по всяких глиби́нах!
7 Who brings up clouds from the extremity of the earth: he has made lightnings for the rain: he brings winds out of his treasures.
Підіймає Він хмари від кра́ю землі, блискави́ці вчинив для дощу́, випрова́джує вітер з запа́сів Своїх.
8 Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
Він позабива́в перворідних Єгипту, від люди́ни аж до скотини.
9 He sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, on Pharao, and on all his servants.
Він послав між Єгипет озна́ки та чу́да, — на фараона і на рабів всіх його.
10 Who struck many nations, and killed mighty kings;
Він ура́зив багато наро́дів, і поту́жних царів повбива́в:
11 Seon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Basan, and all the kingdoms of Chanaan:
Сиго́на, царя аморе́ян, і Оґа, Баша́ну царя, та всіх ханаа́нських царів.
12 and gave their land [for] an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
І Він дав їхню землю спадщиною, на спа́док Ізра́їлеві, Своєму наро́дові.
13 O Lord, your name [endures] for ever, and your memorial to all generations.
Господи, Йме́ння Твоє вікові́чне, Господи, — пам'ять Твоя з роду в рід!
14 For the Lord shall judge his people, and comfort himself concerning his servants.
Бо буде суди́ти Господь Свій наро́д, та змилосе́рдиться Він над Своїми раба́ми.
15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.
Божки лю́дів — то срі́бло та золото, ді́ло рук лю́дських:
16 They have a mouth, but they can’t speak; they have eyes, but they can’t see;
вони мають уста́ — й не говорять, очі мають вони — і не бачать,
17 they have ears, but they can’t hear; for there is no breath in their mouth.
мають уші — й не чують, в їхніх уста́х нема ві́ддиху!
18 Let those who make them be made like to them; and all those who trust in them.
Нехай стануть такі, як вони, ті, хто їх виробля́є, усі, хто надію на них покладає!
19 O house of Israel, bless you the Lord: O house of Aaron, bless you the Lord:
Доме Ізраїлів, — благословіть Господа! Ааро́новий доме, — благословіть Господа!
20 O house of Levi, bless you the Lord: you that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
Доме Леві́їв, — благословіть Господа! Хто боїться Господа, — благословіть Господа!
21 Blessed in Sion be the Lord, who dwells in Jerusalem.
Благослове́нний Господь від Сіону, що ме́шкає в Єрусалимі! Алілу́я!
