Job 40
1 Moreouer ye Lord spake vnto Iob, and said,
Kaj la Eternulo plue parolis al Ijob, kaj diris:
2 Is this to learne to striue with the Almightie? he that reprooueth God, let him answere to it.
Ĉu povas blasfemanto disputi kun la Plejpotenculo? La mallaŭdanto de Dio tion respondu.
3 Then Iob answered the Lord, saying,
Kaj Ijob respondis al la Eternulo, kaj diris:
4 Beholde, I am vile: what shall I answere thee? I will lay mine hand vpon my mouth.
Jen mi estis facilanima; kion mi povas respondi al Vi? Mi metas mian manon sur mian buŝon.
5 Once haue I spoken, but I will answere no more, yea twise, but I will proceede no further.
Unu fojon mi parolis, kaj mi ne respondos; Tion mi ne faros duan fojon.
6 Againe the Lord answered Iob out of the whirle winde, and said,
Kaj la Eternulo respondis al Ijob el la ventego, kaj diris:
7 Girde vp now thy loynes like a man: I will demaunde of thee, and declare thou vnto me.
Zonu kiel viro viajn lumbojn; Mi vin demandos, kaj vi sciigu al Mi.
8 Wilt thou disanul my iudgement? or wilt thou condemne me, that thou mayst be iustified?
Ĉu vi volas senvalorigi Mian verdikton, Akuzi Min, por ke vi montriĝu prava?
9 Or hast thou an arme like God? or doest thou thunder with a voyce like him?
Se vi havas tian brakon, kiel Dio, Kaj se vi povas tondri per voĉo simile al Li,
10 Decke thy selfe now with maiestie and excellencie, and aray thy selfe with beautie and glory.
Tiam ornamu vin per majesto, kaj altiĝu, Vestu vin per gloro kaj belegeco;
11 Cast abroad the indignation of thy wrath, and beholde euery one that is proude, and abase him.
Elverŝu la furiozon de via kolero; Ekrigardu ĉion fieran kaj humiligu ĝin;
12 Looke on euery one that is arrogant, and bring him lowe: and destroy the wicked in their place.
Ekrigardu ĉiun fierulon kaj konfuzu lin; Kaj frakasu la malpiulojn sur ilia loko;
13 Hide them in the dust together, and binde their faces in a secret place.
Kaŝu ilin ĉiujn en la tero; Ilian vizaĝon kovru per mallumo.
14 Then will I confesse vnto thee also, that thy right hand can saue thee.
Tiam Mi gloros vin, Se via dekstra mano vin helpos.
15 Behold now Behemoth (whom I made with thee) which eateth grasse as an oxe.
Vidu la hipopotamon, kiun Mi kreis apud vi; Herbon ĝi manĝas, kiel bovo.
16 Behold now, his strength is in his loynes, and his force is in the nauil of his belly.
Vidu, ĝia forto estas en ĝiaj lumboj, Kaj ĝia fortikeco estas en la muskoloj de ĝia ventro.
17 When hee taketh pleasure, his taile is like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapt together.
Ĝi streĉas sian voston kiel cedron, La tendenoj de ĝiaj femuroj estas interplektitaj.
18 His bones are like staues of brasse, and his small bones like staues of yron.
Ĝiaj ostoj estas kiel kupraj tuboj, Ĝiaj ostoj estas kiel feraj stangoj.
19 He is the chiefe of the wayes of God: he that made him, will make his sworde to approch vnto him.
Ĝi estas la komenco de la vojoj de Dio; Ĝia Kreinto donis al ĝi ĝian glavon.
20 Surely the mountaines bring him foorth grasse, where all the beastes of the fielde play.
La montoj alportas al ĝi manĝaĵon, Kaj ĉiuj bestoj de la kampo tie ludas.
21 Lyeth hee vnder the trees in the couert of the reede and fennes?
Sub ombroriĉaj arboj ĝi kuŝas, Sub kovro de kanoj kaj en ŝlimo.
22 Can the trees couer him with their shadow? or can the willowes of the riuer compasse him about?
Ombroriĉaj arboj ŝirmas ĝin per sia ombro, Ĉirkaŭas ĝin salikoj apud torentoj.
23 Behold, he spoyleth the riuer, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw vp Iorden into his mouth.
Se la rivero tumultas, ĝi ne konfuziĝas; Ĝi staras trankvile, se eĉ Jordan enverŝiĝus en ĝian buŝon.
24 Hee taketh it with his eyes, and thrusteth his nose through whatsoeuer meeteth him.
Ĉu iu povas preni ĝin antaŭ ĝiaj okuloj, Ĉu iu povas trabori per ŝnuroj ĝian nazon?
