“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.

لِتَكُنِ الشَّجَرَةُ جَيِّدَةً، فَتُنْتِجَ ثَمَراً جَيِّداً؛ وَلْتَكُنِ الشَّجَرَةُ رَدِيئَةً، فَتُنْتِجَ ثَمَراً رَدِيئاً! فَمِنَ الثَّمَرِ، تُعْرَفُ الشَّجَرَةُ.
ܐܘ ܥܒܕܘ ܐܝܠܢܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܘܦܐܪܘܗܝ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܐܘ ܥܒܕܘ ܐܝܠܢܐ ܒܝܫܐ ܘܦܐܪܘܗܝ ܒܝܫܐ ܡܢ ܦܐܪܘܗܝ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܡܬܝܕܥ ܐܝܠܢܐ
Կա՛մ ծառը բարի արէք, եւ նրա պտուղն էլ բարի կը լինի, կա՛մ ծառը չար արէք, եւ նրա պտուղն էլ չար կը լինի. քանի որ իր պտղից է ծառը ճանաչւում:
«Կա՛մ լա՛ւ սեպեցէք ծառը, ու անոր պտուղը լաւ կ՚ըլլայ, կա՛մ վա՛տ սեպեցէք ծառը, եւ անոր պտուղը վատ կ՚ըլլայ. որովհետեւ ծառը կը ճանչցուի իր պտուղէն:
গছ ভাল হ’লে ফল ভাল হয় আৰু গছ বেয়া হ’লে ফল বেয়া হয়। কিয়নো এজোপা গছক তাৰ ফল দেখি চিনিব পাৰি।
