“‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the middle of Babylon he will die.

| حَيٌّ أَنَا يَقُولُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ، إِنَّهُ يَمُوتُ عِنْدَهُ فِي بَابِلَ، مَدِينَةِ الْمَلِكِ الَّذِي نَصَبَهُ مَلِكاً، فَازْدَرَى هُوَ حِلْفَهُ، وَنَكَثَ عَهْدَهُ. |
‘মোৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই কৈছে - যি ৰজাই তেওঁ নিজ থকা ঠাইত তেওঁক ৰজা পাতিলে, যাৰ শপত তেওঁ তুচ্ছ কৰিলে আৰু যাৰ নিয়মটি তেওঁ ভাঙিলে, বাবিলৰ মাজত তেওঁৰ তাতেই মৃত্যু হ’ব।

“‘সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, আমার জীবনের দিব্য, তাকে যে রাজা সিংহাসনে বসাল, যার শপথ সে অবজ্ঞা করল, আর যার চুক্তি সে ভেঙে ফেলল সে সেই রাজার দেশ ব্যাবিলনে মারা যাবে।

પ્રભુ યહોવાહ પોતાના જીવના સમ ખાઈને કહે છે કે, ‘હું ખાતરી પૂર્વક કહું છું કે જે રાજાએ તેને રાજા બનાવ્યો છે, જેના સોગનને તેણે ધિક્કાર્યા છે, જેના કરારનો તેણે ભંગ કર્યો છે, તે રાજાના દેશમાં એટલે બાબિલમાં મૃત્યુ પામશે.
