Псалми 142

1 Псалом навча́льний, Давида, коли він був у печері. Молитва. Мій голос до Господа, — я кличу, мій голос до Господа, — я блага́ю!

[A Psalm] of instruction for David, when he was in the cave, —a Prayer. I cried to the Lord with my voice; with my voice I made supplication to the Lord.

2 Перед обличчям Його вилива́ю я мову свою, про недолю свою я розка́зую перед обличчям Його́,

I will pour out before him my supplication: I will declare before him mine affliction.

3 коли́ омліва́є мій дух у мені. А Ти знаєш дорогу мою: на дорозі, якою ходжу́, па́стку для мене сховали!

When my spirit was fainting within me, then thou knewest my paths; in the very way wherein I was walking, they hid a snare for me.

4 Право́руч поглянь і побач: немає ніко́го знайо́мого, загинув приту́лок від мене, ніхто не питає за душу мою.

I looked on [my] right hand, and behold, for there was none that noticed me; refuge failed me; and there was none that cared for my soul.

5 Я кличу до Тебе, о Господи, я кажу́: „Ти моє пристано́вище, доля моя у країні живих!“

I cried unto thee, O Lord, and said, Thou art my hope, my portion in the land of the living.

6 Прислу́хайся ж Ти до блага́ння мого́, бо зробився я зо́всім нужде́нний! Визволь мене від моїх переслі́дників, бо стали сильніші від мене вони!

Attend to my supplication, for I am brought very low; deliver me from them that persecute me; for they are stronger than I.

7 Ви́веди душу мою із в'язни́ці, щоб сла́вити Йме́ння Твоє! Праведні ото́чать мене, як учи́ниш добро надо мною!

Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to thy name, O Lord; the righteous shall wait for me, until thou recompense me.
