Від Луки 11
1 І сталось, як молився Він у місці одно́му, і коли перестав, озвався до Нього один із Його у́чнів: „Господи, навчи нас молитися, як і Іван навчив своїх учнів.“
And it fortuned as he was prayinge in a certayne place: when he ceased one of his disciples sayde vnto him: Master teache vs to praye as Iohn taught his disciples.
2 Він же промовив до них: „Коли молитеся, говоріть: „Отче наш, що на небі! Нехай святиться Ім'я́ Твоє, нехай при́йде Царство Твоє, нехай бу́де воля Твоя, як на небі, так і на землі.
And he sayd vnto the: When ye praye saye: O oure father which arte in heave halowed be thy name. Thy kyngdome come. Thy will be fulfilled even in erth as it is in heaven.
3 Хліба нашого щоденного дай нам на кожний день.
Oure dayly breed geve vs evermore.
4 І прости нам наші гріхи́, бо й самі ми прощаємо кожному боржнико́ві нашому. І не введи нас у випробо́вування, але визволи нас від лукавого!“
And forgeve vs oure synnes: For eve we forgeve every man yt treaspaseth vs. And ledde vs not into teptacio. But deliver vs fro evill.
5 І сказав Він до них: „Хто з вас матиме при́ятеля, і пі́де до нього опі́вночі, і скаже йому: „Позич мені, друже, три хліби́,
And he sayde vnto them: if any of you shuld have a frede and shuld goo to him at mid nyght and saye vnto him: frende lende me thre loves
6 бо прийшов із дороги до мене мій при́ятель, я ж не маю, що́ дати йому“.
for a frende of myne is come out of the waye to me and I have nothinge to set before him:
7 А той із сере́дини в відповідь скаже: „Не роби мені кло́поту, — уже за́мкнені двері, і мої діти зо мною на ліжкові. Не можу я встати та дати тобі“.
and he within shuld answere and saye trouble me not the dore is now sheet and my servautes are with me in the chamber I canot ryse and geve them to the.
8 Кажу вам: коли він не встане, і не дасть ради дружби йому, то за докуча́ння його він устане та й дасть йому, скільки той потребу́є.
I saye vnto you though he wold not aryse and geve him because he is his frede: yet because of his importunite he wold rise and geve him as many as he neded.
9 І Я вам кажу́: просіть, — і буде вам да́но, шукайте — і знайдете, стукайте — і відчинять вам!
And I saye vnto you: axe and it shalbe geven you. Seke and ye shall fynde. knocke and it shalbe opened vnto you.
10 Бо кожен, хто просить — одержує, хто шукає — знахо́дить, а тому́, хто стукає — відчинять.
For every one that axeth receaveth: and he that seketh fyndeth: and to him that knocketh shall it be openned.
11 І котри́й з вас, батьків, як син хліба проси́тиме, подасть йому каменя? Або, як проситиме риби, замість риби подасть йому га́дину?
Yf the sonne shall axe breed of eny of you that is a father: wyll he geve him a stone? Or yf he axe fisshe wyll he for a fysshe geve him a serpent?
12 Або, як яйця́ він проситиме, дасть йому скорпіо́на?
Or yf he axe an egge: wyll he offer him a scorpion?
13 Отож, коли ви, бувши злі, потра́пите добрі дари́ своїм дітям давати, — скільки ж більше Небесний Отець подасть Духа Святого всім тим, хто проситиме в Нього?“
Yf ye then which are evyll canne geve good giftes vnto youre chyldren how moche more shall the father of heaven geve an holy sprete to them that desyre it of him?
14 Раз виго́нив Він де́мона, який був німий. І коли демон вийшов, німий заговорив. А наро́д дивувався.
And he was a castynge out a devyll which was dome. And it folowed when the devyll was gone out the domme spake and the people wondred.
15 А деякі з них гомоніли: „Виганяє Він де́монів силою Вельзеву́ла, князя де́монів“.
But some of the sayde: he casteth out devyls by the power of Belzebub the chefe of the devyls.
16 А інші, випробовуючи, хотіли від Нього ознаки із неба.
And other tempted him sekinge of him a signe fro heave.
17 Він же знав думки їхні, і промовив до них: „Кожне царство, само проти себе поді́лене, запусті́є, і дім на дім упаде́.
But he knewe their thoughtes and sayde vnto them: Every kingdome devided with in it silfe shalbe desolate: and one housse shall fall vpon another.
18 А коли й сатана́ поділився сам супроти себе, — як стоятиме царство його? А ви кажете, що Вельзеву́лом виго́ню Я демонів.
So if Satan be devided with in him silfe: how shall his kyngdome endure? Because ye saye that I cast out devyls by the power of Belzebub.
19 Коли ж Вельзеву́лом виго́ню Я демонів, то чим виганяють їх ваші сини? Тому вони стануть вам су́ддями.
Yf I by the power of Belzebub caste oute devyls: by whome do youre chyldren cast them out? Therfore shall they be youre iudges.
20 А коли пальцем Божим виго́ню Я де́монів, то справді прийшло до вас Боже Царство.
But if I with ye finger of God cast out devyls noo doute the kyngdome of God is come vpon you.
21 Коли сильний збройно свій двір стереже, то в безпе́ці маєток його.
When a stronge man armed watcheth his housse: yt he possesseth is in peace.
22 Коли ж дужчий від нього його нападе́ й переможе, то всю збро́ю йому забере́, на яку покладався був той, і роздасть свою здо́бич.
But when a stronger then he cometh vpo him and overcometh him: he taketh from him his harnes wherin he trusted and devideth his gooddes.
23 Хто не зо Мною, той проти Мене; і хто не збирає зо Мною, той розкидає!
He that is not with me is agaynst me. And he that gadereth not with me scattereth.
24 Коли дух нечистий виходить з люди́ни, то блукає місцями безві́дними, відпочинку шукаючи, але, не знахо́дячи, каже: „Верну́ся до хати своєї, звідки я вийшов“.
When the vnclene sprete is gone out of a man he walketh through waterlesse places sekinge reest. And when he fyndeth none he sayeth: I will returne agayne vnto my housse whence I came out.
25 А як ве́рнеться він, то хату знахо́дить заме́тену й при́брану.
And when he cometh he fyndeth it swept and garnissed.
26 Тоді він іде та й приводить сімох інших духів, лютіших за себе, — і входять вони та й живуть там. І буде останнє люди́ні тій гірше за перше!“
Then goeth he and taketh to him seve other spretes worsse then himsilfe: and they enter in and dwell there. And the ende of that man is worsse then the begynninge.
27 І сталось, як Він це говорив, одна жінка з народу свій голос підне́сла й сказала до Нього: „Блаженна утро́ба, що носила Тебе, і груди, що Ти ссав їх!“
And it fortuned as he spake those thinges a certayne woman of the copany lyfte vp her voyce and sayde vnto him: Happy is the wombe that bare the and the pappes which gave the sucke.
28 А Він відказав: „Так. Блаженні ж і ті, хто слухає Божого Слова і його береже́!“
But he sayde: Ye happy are they that heare the worde of God and kepe it.
29 А як люди збира́лися, Він почав промовляти: „Рід цей — рід лукавий: він ознаки шукає, та ознаки йому не дадуть, крім ознаки проро́ка Йо́ни.
When the people were gadered thicke to geder: he began to saye. This is an evyll nacion: they seke a signe and ther shall no signe be geven them but the signe of Ionas the Prophet.
30 Бо як Йо́на ознакою був для ніневі́тян, так буде й Син Лю́дський для роду цього́.
For as Ionas was a signe to the Ninivites so shall ye sonne of ma be to this nacio.
31 Цариця півде́нна на суд стане з му́жами роду цього́, — і їх засудить, бо вона з кінця світу прийшла Соломо́нову мудрість послухати. А тут ось Хтось більший, аніж Соломо́н!
The quene of the southe shall ryse at iudgement with the men of this generacio and condempne them: for she came fro the ende of the worlde to heare the wysdome of Salomon. And beholde a greater then Salomon is here.
32 Ніневі́тяни стануть на суд із цим родом, — і засудять його, вони бо пока́ялися через Йонину проповідь. А тут ось Хтось більший, ніж Йона!
The men of Ninive shall ryse at the iudgement wt this generacio and shall condepne the: for they repented at the preachinge of Ionas. And beholde a greater then Ionas is here.
33 Засвіченого світла ніхто в схо́вок не ставить, ані під посу́дину, але на світи́льника, щоб бачили світло, хто входить.
Noo man lighteth a candell and putteth it in a previe place nether vnder a busshell: But on a candelsticke that they that come in maye se ye light.
34 Око твоє — то світи́льник для тіла; тому́, як око твоє буде дуже, то й усе тіло твоє буде світле. А коли б твоє око нездатне було́, то й усе тіло твоє буде темне.
The light of thy body is the eye. Therfore when thine eye is single: then is all thy body full of light. But if thine eye be evyll: then shall thy body also be full of darknes.
35 Отож, уважай, щоб те світло, що в тобі, не сталося те́мрявою!
Take hede therfore that the light which is in the be not darknes.
36 Бо коли твоє тіло все світле, і не має жа́дної темної частини, то все буде світле, неначе б світильник ося́яв блиском тебе“.
For if all thy body shalbe light havynge noo parte darke: then shall all be full of light even as when a candell doeth light the with his brightnes.
37 Коли Він говорив, то один фарисей став благати Його пообідати в нього. Він же прийшов та й сів при столі.
And as he spake a certayne Pharise besought him to dyne with him: and he went in and sate doune to meate.
38 Фарисей же, побачивши це, здивувався, що перед обідом Він перш не обмився.
When the Pharise sawe that he marveylled yt he had not fyrst wesshed before dyner.
39 Господь же промовив до нього: „Тепер ви, фарисеї, он чистите зо́внішність ку́хля та миски, а ваше нутро́ повне зди́рства та кривди!
And ye Lorde sayde to him: Now do ye Pharises make clene the out side of the cup and of the platter: but youre inwarde parties are full of raveninge and wickednes.
40 Нерозумні, — чи ж Той, Хто створив оте зо́внішнє, не створив Він і внутрішнє?
Ye foles dyd not he that made that which is without: make that which is within also?
41 Тож милостиню подавайте з унутрішнього, — і ось все буде вам чисте.
Neverthelesse geve almose of that ye have and beholde all is clene to you.
42 Горе вам, фарисеям, — бо ви десятину даєте з м'яти та рути й усякого зілля, але обминаєте суд та Божу любов; це треба робити, і того́ не лишати!
But wo be to you Pharises for ye tithe the mynt and rewe and all manner erbes and passe over iudgment and the love of God. These ought ye to have done and yet not to have left the other vndone.
43 Горе вам, фарисеям, що любите перші лавки́ в синагогах та привіти на ри́нках!
Wo be to you Pharises: for ye love the vppermost seates in the synagoges and gretinges in the markets.
44 Горе вам, — бо ви як гроби́ непомітні, — люди ж ходять по них і не знають того“.
Wo be to you scribes and pharises ypocrites for ye are as graves which appere not and the men yt walke over the are not ware of the.
45 Озвався ж один із зако́нників, і каже Йому: „Учителю, кажучи це, Ти і нас ображаєш!“
Then answered one of the lawears and sayd vnto him: Master thus sayinge thou puttest vs to rebuke also.
46 А Він відказав: „Горе й вам, зако́нникам, бо ви на людей тягарі́ накладаєте, які важко носити, а самі й одним пальцем своїм не дото́ркуєтесь тягарі́в!
Then he sayde: Wo be to you also ye lawears: for ye lade men with burthens greveous to be borne and ye youre selves touche not ye packes wt one of youre fyngers.
47 Горе вам, бо надгро́бки пророкам ви ставите, — ваші ж батьки́ були їх повбивали.
Wo be to you: ye bylde the sepulchres of the Prophetes and youre fathers killed the:
48 Так, — визнаєте ви й хвалите вчинки батьків своїх: бо вони їх повбивали, а ви їм надгро́бки будуєте!
truly ye beare witnes that ye alowe the dedes of youre fathers for they kylled them and ye bylde their sepulchres.
49 Через те й мудрість Божа сказала: „Я пошлю їм пророків й апо́столів, — вони ж декого з них повбивають, а декого ви́женуть,
Therfore sayde ye wisdome of God: I will send them Prophetes and Apostles and of them they shall slee and persecute:
50 щоб на роді оцім відомстилася кров усіх пророків, що пролита від ство́рення світу,
that the bloude of all Prophetes which was sheed fro the beginninge of the worlde maye be requyred of this generacion
51 від крови Авеля аж до крови Заха́рія, що загинув між же́ртівником і храмом“! Так, кажу вам, — відомсти́ться це все на цім роді!
from the bloud of Abell vnto the bloud of zachary which perisshed bitwene the aulter and the temple. Verely I saye vnto you: it shalbe requyred of this nacion.
52 Горе вам, зако́нникам, бо взяли́ ви ключа́ розумі́ння: самі не ввійшли, і тим, хто хотів увійти, борони́ли!“
Wo be to you lawears: for ye have taken awaye ye keye of knowledge ye entred not in youre selves and them that came in ye forbade.
53 А коли Він вихо́див ізвідти, стали книжники та фарисеї сильно тиснути та від Нього допитуватись про багато речей, —
When he thus spake vnto them the lawears and the Pharises began to wexe busye about him and to stop his mouth with many questions
54 вони чатува́ли на Нього, щоб зловити що з уст Його (і щоб оска́ржити Його́).
layinge wayte for him and sekinge to catche somethinge of his mought wherby they might accuse him.
